Nova Scotia family practice waitlist drops by nearly 2,000 people
A medical stethoscope is seen in this undated image. (Shutterstock) Nova Scotia says the number of people on the Need at Family Practice Registry dropped by nearly 2,000 in the last month. There are now 89,455 Nova Scotians on the waitlist, according to the province. On June 1, 91,423 people were on the registry. 'In June 2025, a total of 1,968 more people were attached to a provider or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a provider than requested registration,' a news release from the province says.
