Two men arrested after man stabbed in Piccadilly Gardens fight
Two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed during a street fight in Manchester Police said they were called out to reports of a fight in Piccadilly Gardens at around 21:00 BST on Sunday.A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident.A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and a 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray, with both in police custody, the force said. A GMP spokesperson said officers remain on scene as the investigation into the incident continues. Fifth man charged after Alfreton Road street fight
A fifth man has been charged after violent disorder broke out in a Nottingham were called to Alfreton Road at 23:55 BST on 2 July to reports a group of men were involved in a street fight involving metal poles and glass man suffered a potentially life-altering injury to his head and remains in hospital, while another person was injured, said Nottinghamshire Arfali, 43, of Princes Road, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, has been charged with violent disorder and robbery. Four people have previously been charged by the force including Bendr Omar, 23, of Meadow Lane, Sneinton, who is accused of attempted murder and violent Ali, 29, of Meadow Lane, Sneinton, and Aso Mohammad, 34, of Noel Street, Hyson Green, have both been charged with grievous bodily harm and violent disorder, while Amine Mohamad, 43, of no fixed address, is charged with violent disorder.

Man dead after street fight breaks out in front of Brentwood grocery store
A man is dead after a street fight broke out in front of a grocery store in Brentwood Tuesday night. The Los Angeles Police Department said two men, both armed with weapons, got into an altercation outside of the Whole Foods on the 11000 block of San Vicente Boulevard. After the fight, one man fled the scene and the other was transported to a hospital, where he later died. Officers are still searching for the other man involved. The LAPD is still trying to determine what led up to the fight.

Murder charge for security guard in fatal Sentul street fight
KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 — A security guard was charged in the Magistrate's Court here yesterday with the murder of a man during a street fight in Sentul two months ago. K. Nagentherah, 39, nodded in understanding after the charge was read before Magistrate M S Arunjothy, but no plea was recorded as the case falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court. He is accused of murdering K. Kumaran, 44, by the roadside at Taman Intan Baiduri, Sentul here, at 9.23 pm on May 25. The charge framed under Section 302 of the Penal Code carries the mandatory death sentence or imprisonment of between 30 and 40 years, along with a minimum of 12 strokes of the cane if the death penalty is not imposed. The court set Sept 10 for mention of the case to obtain the post-mortem report. — Bernama

Four men charged after street fight
Four men have been charged in connection with a street fight in Nottingham. Police were called to Alfreton Road at 23:55 BST on Wednesday to reports a group of men were involved in an altercation. Metal poles and glass bottles were thrown by two groups of men during the fight, said Nottinghamshire Police. One man remains in hospital after suffering a potentially life-altering head injury, while another also received treatment, the force added. Police previously said seven men had been arrested in connection with the fight. Two men, aged 30 and 33, detained on suspicion of affray and assisting an offender have since been released on conditional bail. A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray has been disregarded as a suspect and released without any further action, the force said. Four other men have been charged and are remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Saturday. Bendr Omar, 23, of Meadow Lane, Sneinton, has been charged with attempted murder and violent disorder. Farman Ali, 29, of Meadow Lane, Sneinton, and Aso Mohammad, 34, of Noel Street, Hyson Green, have both been charged with grievous bodily harm and violent disorder. Amine Mohamad, 43, of no fixed address, has been charged with violent disorder.
