General Hospital fans got quite a shock today when beloved soap legend Tristan Rogers returned as Robert Scorpio. The brief comeback occurred as Jason (Steve Burton) delivered Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and baby Daisy to their new home.
Robert opened the door to welcome his daughter and granddaughter with open arms. The moment came hours after Rogers announced he had been battling have flooded social media with thoughts after watching General Hospital, especially since it appears Mattsson has exited the ABC soap.
'I legit talk s--t about Sasha not spending any time with her Scorpio people and here #gh go and surprise me with Sasha and Daisy going to Robert and her calling him 'dad' too. Lawd, my hearts full! Get well, Tristan. We love you!' wrote a fan on X.
Another fan expressed, 'Bittersweet to see Tristen. Makes me think we won't see much of Daisy or Sasha. But that baby grew hair from the airplane to grandpa's so that's a little weird.'

One fan shared on X, 'What an unexpected treat to see @tristanrogers! I don't know why it never occurred to me that Jason might be taking Sasha to her parents.' A fan insisted, "#GH I LOOOVE that Jason took Sasha to her daddy! ROBERT SCORPIO got her & Lil' Daisy with a father's fierceness!"
'Loved seeing Robert! Wish Holly was there too but we know she's there somewhere. Neither the actress nor General Hospital has commented on her leaving. That means there's a good chance that Sasha's leaving is simply a storyline, or perhaps Mattsson needed to take a brief leave of absence.
Either way, it was great to see Rogers back in the mix, even if it was only for a hot minute.
