Fight over messy room likely led to Kelantan man's fatal stabbing by housemate, say Sungai Buloh cops
KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 — A man was fatally stabbed following an argument with his housemate, allegedly over a messy room, at a house in Kampung Kubu Gajah, Sungai Pelong in Selangor on Thursday. Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said to Harian Metro yesterday the two men, who had moved from Kelantan about six months ago, got into a dispute over household matters. 'Preliminary investigations found the argument centred around a messy room. 'During the altercation, the 33-year-old victim was stabbed with a knife by the 40-year-old suspect,' he was quoted as saying. He added that the suspect tested positive for drugs. The suspect has been remanded for six days until July 1 to assist in investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.

Toronto man arrested for sexual assault in Guelph
A Toronto man has turned himself in after police were told a woman was assaulted while walking her dog in Guelph. The Guelph Police Service said the woman in her 20s was in a west-end park on April 9 when she was approached by an older man. She told police the man started talking to her and then touched her inappropriately. Police said the woman received a text message from the suspect earlier this week after the male was able to find her phone number online. On Thursday, police called the 60-year-old Toronto man and he agreed to turn himself in later that day. He has been charged with sexual assault.

Man with knife allegedly demands cash in Lethbridge liquor store robbery
Lethbridge police are looking for help identifying a suspect in a liquor store robbery. The robbery happened at the Ace Liquor store in the 300 block of Bluefox Blvd North at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 26. Police say the suspect selected liquor, approached the front counter and then pulled out a knife and demanded cash from the worker. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. Police say the suspect was in his 40s or 50s and about six-feet-tall with a medium build. Anyone who with information on the man's identity is asked to call police at 403-328-4444. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
