Man found with gunshot wound after crash
A man has been found with a gunshot wound inside a car wreck in a Melbourne suburb, in what police suspect was a targeted incident. Emergency crews were called to the corner of Donald Cameron Drive and Bridgewater Rd in Roxburgh Park at about 7pm on Sunday, after reports a car had careened through a park fence and crashed into a tree. The driver of the white Toyota was injured in the crash and found with a gunshot wound to his lower body. The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The circumstances leading to the man's gunshot wound and crash are still to be established, with Armed Crime Squad detectives investigating. Police do believe it was a targeted incident. A crime scene has been established at the site of the crash and investigations remain ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident had been encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Noxious substance sprayed in Kitchener
One person was taken to hospital after he was sprayed with a noxious substance in Kitchener. Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called to a disturbance in the Victoria Street North and Weber Street West area on Friday around 6:15 p.m. They said a male victim was sprayed with a noxious substance by a male suspect, who then left the area before police arrived. The victim was minorly injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

No injuries after shots fired into Cambridge home
No one was injured after shots were fired into a Cambridge home Sunday evening, police say. Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called to the area of Roseview Avenue and Malcolm Street just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday for reports of gunshots in the area. "Officers determined that an unknown individual fired multiple gunshots into a residence before fleeing the area on foot," a police press release issued Monday morning said. "Investigators believe this was a targeted incident." Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. This is the seventh shooting in the region this year. Other shootings There was a shooting last Thursday in Kitchener where officers were called to the area of Monte Carlo Street and Victoria Street S. after multiple reports of gunshots. A 13-year-old boy has been charged with multiple firearms-related offences related to that investigation. On April 25, police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of University Avenue E. and Weber Street N. There were no reports of physical injuries. On April 9, a 44-year-old Waterloo man was found with gunshot wounds in the area of Lancaster Street W. and Ash Street. Three people have been arrested in this case. On March 5, police responded to a report of a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of Vanier Drive and Massey Avenue in Kitchener. Two Oshawa men were charged in that case. On March 1, police responded to a report of gunshots in the Ottawa Street S. and Trussler Road area of Kitchener after multiple shots had been fired into the front of a residence. On January 9, police responded to reports of property damage at a residence in the area of Howe Drive and Ottawa Street S. in Kitchener. The shots were believed to have been fired at the home around 3:30 a.m. that morning.

Arrest after man suffers serious injuries in car ramming incident
A man has been arrested after a pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries from being hit by a car in a "targeted" incident. Wiltshire Police said a man in his 40s was hit by a blue Ford Fiesta while stood on Pinewood Close's pavement in Bemerton Heath, Salisbury, on Saturday evening. A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He remains in Sgt Matthew Goldring said: "This was a targeted incident in broad daylight in which a pedestrian has suffered serious injuries." The Fiesta was being driven in a dangerous and reckless manner prior to the incident, police are still searching for the vehicle, which is a 09-plated blue Ford Fiesta and may have been abandoned. Det Sgt Goldring added: "We have arrested a man in connection with the incident, although the vehicle remains outstanding."We have already spoken to witnesses at the scene, but if you have any information or dash cam footage of the vehicle prior to or following the collision, please get in touch."
