A new rumor confirms earlier claims that one of the colors might be a shade of blue we haven't seen before on Apple's smartphones. The palette for the iPhone 17 Air has four variations, which could be described as either light and gentle or muted and dull. The new information by leaker Majin Bu has the following descriptions for the colors: Black - dark and understated Silver - bright and clear Light Gold - warm and soft, without being overly bold Light Blue - different from previous blues, delicate, fresh, modern The only new color is Light Blue, which was previously described in a leak as a shade of blue so light that it might be confused with white under certain lighting conditions. Being the only color that stands out, the blue might also be the focus color for Apple's marketing materials for the iPhone 17 Air . Considering how accurate Majin Bu has been before, it is very likely that this rumor will turn out to be true, which would be a disappointment for me. That would mean Apple is basically copying Samsung's strategy for the colors of its super-slim flagship. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was released in three colors — Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icyblue — and they're also subtle, light, and to me unimpressive. My biggest issue is that, in certain lighting conditions, the Silver and Icyblue look identical. Meanwhile, the base iPhone 16 is available in three stunning colors aside from the basic black and white versions. The vanilla iPhone 17 is rumored to continue the trend and introduce an intriguing purple shade. This would make it the largest iPhone battery of all time, surpassing the current record holder which would be the 4676 mAh battery powering the iPhone 16 Pro Max. If a sleeker, svelte iPhone is your cup of tea, this year brings the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air to the marketplace. With a rumored 2800 mAh battery powering the iPhone 17 Air , choosing the thinnest iPhone model available this year could leave you feeling great holding such a thin handset. However, it could also leave iPhone 17 Air owners wanting when it comes to battery life. If I were to update to a new iPhone model this year, I would stick with the model I always buy-the latest iPhone Pro Max model. And if this device does come with a 5000mAh cell, battery life is going to be tremendous. Leaked renders of the official Galaxy Z Flip 7 cases give us an early look at Samsung's accessories

We've already seen multiple leaks of the phones themselves, but a new leak has revealed all the accessories Samsung might offer for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 . If the leak is accurate, Samsung's flip foldable will launch with four cases and an anti-reflective screen protector. The cases are a Kindsuit case, a Silicon Ring case, and two types of Clear case. All of them look the same as the ones Samsung offered last year with the Galaxy Z Flip 6, except the new clear magnet case. The clear case doesn't defy any expectations, and it has two simple parts that cover the upper and lower parts of the device. One of the versions features a ring-shaped grip on the lower half and resembles last year's silicone case. Their goal is to provide Qi2 support, and the renders might as well confirm that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 won't have built-in MagSafe. Although there's no information about the pricing, this version will likely be more expensive than the base clear case. It looks more or less identical to the non-magnet clear case, and last year's version was $39.99. Samsung may offer the Silicon Ring case in mint, coral, blue, and black colors, which match the rumored colors of the Flip 7 . Samsung's faux leather offering is the Kindsuit case, which may return for the Galaxy Flip 7 . That one will be offered in three colors – camel, taupe, and black. Last year, this was the most expensive case, retailing at $99. The anti-reflective screen protector for the Flip 7 cover screen has a pill-shaped cutout for the camera and will ship with extra accessories for easier and better application. I'd expect Samsung to equip the priciest cases with every available feature, but the leak doesn't mention anything about magnets on the Kindsuit cases. Apple iPhone 17 Pro And Phone 17 Air: The Best Views Yet Of New Designs Just Leaked
Updated June 26 with new images of iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro. Although it's around 12 weeks until the next iPhones go on sale (read exactly when they will launch here), there have been numerous reports and leaks. The latest comes from a regular leaker, and aims to show exactly what the iPhone 17 Pro will look like in black. The same leaker has now posted more images, showing what the iPhone 17 Air and other models in the range will look like: more on that below. Will the iPhone 17 Pro look like this, the iPhone 16 Pro? Of course, it's not yet known exactly what colors the next iPhones will come in, or what they'll be called, but it's highly likely that there will be a new black color this time around (which will be similar, perhaps, to the current titanium black found on the iPhone 16 Pro. The leak comes from serial tipster Majin Bu who has a strong, though not perfect, track record. Their latest post on X reads, 'iPhone 17 Pro Black, absolutely beautiful,' and the caption shows two images of what it will look like, it's claimed. It's a persuasive replica, with lots of detail and convincing materials. But the reason it's interesting is that it shows the new camera panel design in a way that many will find attractive. Previously, I've been skeptical about how the predicted wider camera panel will work in practice. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman revealed that the panel would not be black on all models, that it would match the color of the iPhone. So, it's not yet clear what models in other colors will look like, but the images here show a panel which seems in keeping with the handset, and even makes the three camera lenses look less dominant than they do on the iPhone 16 Pro. In the dummy, the panel looks as though it rises out of the phone more deeply than before, perhaps to create a greater distance between the lens and the sensor beneath. The lenses are still raised on top of the panel. This is the iPhone 17 Pro, and it's the Pro Max model which is rumored to be the thickest iPhone Pro yet, so this looks, well, not super-thin, but not chunky. Of course, however carefully researched a phone dummy is, it can only take us part way to understanding what the real thing will look like. But these images make the iPhone 17 Pro look better than some had been expecting. The same could be said for the iPhone 17 Air, which Majin Bu has also featured, in a post on X captioned, 'iPhone 17 Air looks fantastic,' and showing two images of dummies claiming to show what the slim iPhone, nicknamed the Air, will look like. If you've already seen images said to be the iPhone 17 Air, you'll know that it has quite a different look on the rear of the phone (let alone its profile). There's only one camera expected on the iPhone 17 Air, and it seems it will sit on the left side of the phone's back, as Apple's cameras always have. But the raised camera panel which is one of the biggest design changes in the iPhone 17 series stretches across the width of the phone. It's a controversial look that is most noticeable on the one-camera slim phone. That said, it looks more persuasive in this dummy than has previously been seen. And then there's the profile: turn the phone sideways and this dummy shows how strikingly thin it is.
