Sharjah announces up to 35% discount on traffic fines paid within 60 days
However, this does not apply to certain serious traffic violations Sharjah announced a 35% discount on traffic fines if payment is done within 60 days of committing the offence. If payment is made after 60 days and before 1 year, a 25% discount shall be applied. However, this does not apply to certain serious traffic violations.

6 Klang Valley highways, 25 main roads to close for Asean Summit

(Bernama pic) KUALA LUMPUR : Six highways and 25 main roads in the Klang Valley will be closed in stages from Friday until May 28, in conjunction with the Asean Summit. Bukit Aman traffic investigation and enforcement department director Yusri Hassan Basri said the roads that would be closed included the routes to KLIA, KLCC, Istana Negara and several hotels. He advised the public not to park their vehicles indiscriminately along the roads involved in the closure to ensure smooth traffic flow. He added that enforcement action would be taken against such vehicles, including having them towed away. Yusri also said business vehicles and heavy vehicles are not allowed to enter the city centre from 4.30am today until May 28.
