A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing on a streetcar in downtown Toronto Friday, emergency responders say. Officers responded to reports of a person stabbed on a streetcar in the area of Queen and Peter streets around 4 p.m., Toronto police said on X Friday. A man was located with a stab wound and rushed to a trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Toronto paramedics told CBC Toronto. The suspect, a woman, fled the area, according to police. Police did not provide any further description. Queen Street W. is closed to westbound traffic at Beverley Street while police investigate.

3 seriously injured after head-on collision near Kemptville

Ontario Provincial Police say it happened just before 6 p.m. Friday on County Road 43 near Meadowglen Circle. An SUV and another vehicle collided in the westbound lane, police said in a news release Monday. All three people in the vehicles were taken to a regional trauma centre with potentially life-threatening injuries. Their condition was upgraded later that evening, police say, but their injuries were still considered 'very serious.' County Road 43 reopened just before midnight when an on-scene investigation was completed. An investigation continues. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dash-cam video, is asked to contact the OPP Grenville Detachment at 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident E250725667.

(Source: OPP Central Region) Ontario Provincial Police say a woman suffered 'life-altering injuries' in a rollover crash on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory on Thursday. The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 49, north of Lower Slash Road, OPP said. The woman was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken to regional trauma centre to be treated for her serious injuries. The man driving the vehicle was also hospitalized. Highway 49 was closed for several hours for an investigation but has since reopened, OPP said. The Tyendinaga Police Service and the OPP continue to investigate.
