Ask Sahaj: I dread my bigoted mother-in-law's weekly lunches
Dear Sahaj: My elderly mother-in-law visits once a week for lunch. She is outspoken about things that offend me, like immigrants 'invading' our country when she knows that all four of my grandparents came from Poland. She also favors a religion that does not allow women to be ministers. My husband defends me, but his mother, who will turn 99 tomorrow, persists.
