BTS' J-Hope made a surprise public appearance at BLACKPINK's DEADLINE World Tour in Goyang, South Korea, on Sunday (July 6), sending K-pop fans into a frenzy. The singer-rapper attended the second night of the girl group's back-to-back shows, which marked their first full-band performances in two years.
In viral videos emerging from the concert, J-Hope can be seen arriving at the Goyang Stadium, escorted to his seat amid cheers and excited fans capturing the moment. Dressed in an open button-down shirt, black sunglasses, and looking every bit the stylish icon, he stood out in the crowd. Another video showed him grooving to the music during the pre-show, casually vibing and dancing from his seat — much to the delight of the audience.

BLACKPINK's DEADLINE tour is significant as it ends their two-year break, during which the members—ROSÉ, LISA, JENNIE, and JISOO—focused on individual music projects. Their performances included both group numbers and solo hits, celebrating their long-awaited comeback on stage.
J-Hope's attendance comes just days after BTS announced their 2026 reunion, creating a wave of excitement among ARMY. 'We'll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year," BTS said in a joint statement on July 1. 'Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music … We're also planning a world tour alongside the new album."
Since BTS last released an album (Be) in 2020, each member has pursued solo ventures. J-Hope released Hope On The Street Vol.1 in 2024 and most recently dropped singles 'Mona Lisa" and 'Killin' It Girl" featuring GloRilla.
Speaking to Weverse Magazine, he shared his excitement about reuniting with BTS: 'When we're all back together as a group, it's going to have a huge impact, and everybody's going to be watching. I'm excited to see what it'll feel like when we perform together again."
