Dortmund eye Spurs prodigy Mikey Moore as Gittens replacement
Borussia Dortmund have expressed their interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Mikey Moore this summer (h/t BILD). Die Borussen are prioritising a new winger following the departure of Jamie Gittens to Chelsea in a lucrative deal worth £52.5 million. They want to invest in a low-cost option with huge potential, and Moore fits the criteria. After standing out in the youth ranks, the 17-year-old had his breakthrough with Spurs last season, scoring his first senior goal in the Europa League game against IF Elfsborg. Despite earning comparisons with Neymar, the English prospect's development was impacted by fitness concerns in the second half of the campaign. Dortmund want to continue the strategy of snapping up the best young talents and bringing them to the spotlight with their pursuit of Moore. The Bundesliga giants are ready to spend up to €30 million for the new winger, while Spurs are only willing to loan Moore out with an option to buy. Moore could be tempted to follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho and Gittens, who were big hits at Dortmund. Moore's game time could be limited this season, with Spurs pursuing Brentford forward Yoane Wissa. Dortmund are accelerating the efforts to bolster their attack after losing the transfer battle of Belgian winger Johan Bakayoko to RB Leipzig. Meanwhile, they are also set to miss out on Freiburg's Japanese winger Ritsu Doan, who has decided to join Eintracht Frankfurt. Niko Kovac's side are planning to extend star forward Karim Adeyemi's contract to fend off interest from European giants. They have signed midfielder Jobe Bellingham and goalkeeper Patrick Drewes in this transfer window.

Manchester City set to complete deal for Tottenham midfielder ‘in the next 48 hours'
A deal between Manchester City and Tottenham for one of the most exciting young midfield talents is expected to be completed imminently, according to reports. As part of a well-established recruitment model focused on developing elite youth prospects, City have been consistently active in identifying and acquiring the most exciting teenage talents across English football. That strategy has yielded notable success in recent years, with Academy graduates progressing either into Pep Guardiola's senior setup or moving on for significant fees to further their development. This summer has already seen a number of movements within City's youth and development ranks, including the exits of Finley Burns and Divin Mubama on temporary agreements, while Maximo Perrone is finalising a move to Serie A with Como. At the same time, the club has doubled down on its next wave of incoming talent — with Vitor Reis and Claudio Echeverri among those integrating into the system having arrived from Palmeiras and River Plate respectively in January. City's commitment to future-proofing their squad — particularly through strategic domestic acquisitions — aligns with a wider plan to maintain success under Pep Guardiola while preparing for life beyond his tenure. With a number of senior players approaching the final stages of their contracts, the club's leadership remains focused on creating a seamless generational transition, both at first-team and youth levels. Now, according to the latest information provided by market insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated teenage midfield talent Dexter Oliver from Tottenham Hotspur. It is explained that the agreement between the two clubs is due to be completed in the next 48 hours, and as such will mark another key signing into Manchester City's Academy – where the strategy remains to 'develop and produce top young talent'. As for what lies ahead, Dexter Oliver is expected to slot into City's Under-18 or Under-21 squads depending on his immediate development trajectory. There is also precedent for promising new additions to be involved in senior training sessions. Should the teenager impress during his early months at the club, it is not out of the question that Oliver could follow a pathway similar to that of Rico Lewis or Nico O'Reilly — both of whom emerged from the EDS and earned valuable first-team minutes. Alternatively, a structured loan could be considered in the medium term to fast-track his exposure to senior football. With City continuing to shape the next generation of top-tier professionals, the imminent arrival of Dexter Oliver represents another calculated step in their evolving project.
