Israeli military intercepts suspected drone from Yemen

Shafaq News – Tel Aviv Israel's military said on Wednesday it had intercepted a drone believed to have been launched from Yemen, without it entering Israeli airspace or triggering alarms. 🔴اعترض سلاح الجو قبل قليل طائرة مسيرة أطلقت كما يبدو من اليمن. المسيرة لم تخترق الاجواء الاسرائيلية ولم يتم تفعيل انذارات — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) June 25, 2025 Israeli Channel 12 also reported the interception, confirming the drone originated from Yemen and was heading toward Israel. The announcement came a day after Adel Rajeh, a member of the Executive Committee of Anti-Aggression Parties affiliated with the Houthis (Ansarallah), reiterated Yemen's stance in support of Gaza. Rajeh said Yemen's commitment to what he described as resisting "ongoing American and Israeli aggression" would persist. 'The support pathway is ongoing. The air and sea blockade remains in place,' he said, adding that 'the coming days will witness an escalation in military operations until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege is fully lifted.' Since October 2023, Yemen's Houthi forces have launched several military operations targeting Israel, positioning them as part of a broader regional campaign in solidarity with Gaza.

Israeli strikes hit Iran: Fordow facility among targets

Shafaq News/ Israel launched a series of intensified airstrikes on Monday targeting multiple sites across Iran, including the highly sensitive Fordow nuclear facility, in what Israeli officials described as an 'unprecedented assault.' In Qom, Iran's Crisis Management Directorate confirmed that the Fordow uranium enrichment facility had been struck. One of the country's most fortified nuclear sites, Fordow was hit on Sunday in a coordinated Israeli-American attack that also targeted Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz and Isfahan. In Tehran, a building tied to Iran's state broadcasting authority was also struck, with Iranian media reporting that the attack took Khabar news channel off air. Simultaneously, explosions were reported in Karaj city, west of the capital, though the extent of the damage remains unconfirmed. Israeli missiles also hit near the Salam building, affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent Society, in western Tehran. Field sources cited by Mehr News indicated that the strike caused material damage to nearby civilian structures without resulting in casualties. The Red Crescent has not issued an official statement. Iranian state media reported further strikes on Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran and the gate of Evin Prison. Israel's Army Radio confirmed the attack on the prison, where political prisoners and opposition figures are reportedly held. — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) June 23, 2025 Separately, Tasnim News Agency reported that three Iranian athletes were killed in the recent attacks. Israel strikes Iran's Parchin complex

Shafaq News/ On Monday, Israeli warplanes targeted military sites inside Iran including one near Tehran, according to local media outlets. Iranian state media indicated that the country's air defense systems were activated across multiple areas of the capital following alerts of hostile aerial activity. One of the strikes hit the Parchin military complex, southeast of the capital. Parchin is among the most heavily fortified military sites in Iran and has long been linked to the country's weapons development programs, including missile technology and explosives research. The complex currently houses production and research units for ballistic missiles and heavy munitions and remains a central component of Iran's military-industrial infrastructure. In a statement on X, the Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed the strike as targeting a missile engine production site operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) approximately 2,000 kilometers from Israeli territory. — افيخاي ادرعي (@AvichayAdraee) June 22, 2025 The post noted that the strike focused on mixers and machinery used in the production of ground-to-ground missile engines. This attack is part of Operation Rising Lion, launched by Israel on June 13 and aimed at dismantling elements of Iran's nuclear, military, and intelligence infrastructure. In response, Iran launched Operation True Promise 3, firing 20 successive waves of drones and missiles toward Israeli cities. The ongoing exchange has inflicted casualties and caused widespread damage to infrastructure on both sides.
