All Coronation Street spoilers as major secrets are exposed

Secrets are exposed next week in Coronation Street, causing plenty of drama on the cobbles. Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) has been lying about his cancer, having told Abi Webster (Sally Carman) that he needed more treatment, when in reality he had got the all clear. Next week, his secret is finally exposed, as the Webster clan and all their secrets explode. Meanwhile, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) gets an enormous shock when Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) uncovers Danielle Silverton's (Natalie Anderson) new man – and it causes chaos among the family. Elsewhere, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is determined to get to the bottom of Becky's death, but will Carla Connor's (Alison King) actions help or hinder? With all that and more coming up, it is set to be a busy week on the ITV soap. As Abi berates Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) for all the trouble he's caused, he fights the urge to tell her how Kevin has been lying about his cancer. However, when a strung-out Abi confides in Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) that she's planning to tell Jack that Kevin's cancer hasn't responded, it's Tyrone who assures her that Kevin isn't going to die. Abi confronts Kevin and he tells her how sorry he is, explaining he couldn't cope with losing her. He reveals how he thought that lying about his cancer would stop her from leaving him for Carl. Asserting that she can't bear to look at him, an emotional Abi heads out and straight into Carl's arms. Declaring that she is done with Kevin, Abi passionately kisses Carl. Elsewhere, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) are pleased to think Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) and Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) have buried the hatchet when they both attend Eco Club. But as Sam scoffs at Lily's poster, he tells her that there have been six burglaries in the area and the burglars move the furniture about. Lily returns home to find the door ajar. When she sees the furniture has been moved, she screams in terror. James Bailey (Jason Callender) is worried as the facilitator arrives for their meeting regarding Laila's Special Guardianship Order. Will Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) show up? Todd and Theo head off to view a flat in town, but they're thwarted when the car breaks down. When Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) reveals that Aunty Rani is coming to the wedding and she'll want to see her money being put to good use, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) mask their unease. Todd grits his teeth and attends the restorative justice session with Noah. With the session over and having listened to enough of Noah's goading, Todd hurries out. Realising he forgot his jacket, Todd goes back to the community centre in time to overhear Noah on the phone to Danielle. Todd's shocked to realise they're an item. As Danielle joins Theo and the kids at the Bistro, a seething Todd reveals that Danielle has a new boyfriend and it happens to be Noah. Danielle's mortified and Theo reels. Miles rounds on Todd and tries to punch him, but Theo blocks his path and accidentally strikes Miles, sending him sprawling to the ground. Theo is horrified. Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) insists the family sit down for breakfast and clear the air. As James looks after Laila, he takes a call and confirms that he's still very much interested in the job. With his bags packed, is James leaving with or without Laila? Abi paints on a smile for Jack's sake, while Carl doubles down and tells Abi that she's doing the right thing by staying with Kevin and it's best if they keep their distance from now on. Sam opens up to Toyah about his anxiety and his recent panic attacks. Lisa admits she skipped her therapy and instead visited Becky's grave as tomorrow would have been their anniversary. Lisa is struggling with today being her and Becky's anniversary. Despite Carla and Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) being worried about her, Lisa insists she is okay and heads off for a therapy session, where she finally opens up and admits to her therapist that she wonders if there was more to Becky's death than meets the eye and if she was in some way corrupt. Meanwhile Carla secretly visits Logan Radcliffe in prison hoping to extract information about Becky. At the police station, Lisa sneaks into DI Costello's office and searches his email for any reference to Becky Swain. Will she be caught? Later a furious Lisa tackles Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) after seeing his name on the computer asking for access to Becky's file. She tells Carla she can no longer work with Kit after he went behind her back. Will Carla reveal what she has been up to? Todd plays it down when Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) calls round and sees bedding on the sofa. Explaining that Danielle is now with Noah, Todd explains that Theo is not allowed to see his kids. Billy advises Todd to try and persuade Dannielle. Will it work? Todd summons Danielle to the Bistro and implores Danielle to let Theo see his kids, pointing out that he's a good dad. Theo is furious to discover Todd has been letting Billy advise him on how to sort out Theo's problems. Billy calls at No.11 hoping to make amends, but Theo gives him short shrift, making out that Todd's in the shower. Todd descends the stairs, oblivious to Theo's lies. At the garage, Kevin tells Carl he's sacked as he simply can't trust him anymore. Carl agrees that a fresh start might do him good. When Abi wonders where Carl has got to, Kevin makes out that he quit his job and announced that he wants to start afresh elsewhere. Abi's secretly gutted. Debbie tries to persuade Carl to stay, but will she be able to? More Trending At No.7, Bernie and Aadi go over the wedding plans, determined to keep the cost down. In the Rovers, Dev asks Aadi if he'll be his best man. Dev's mood changes when Aunty Rani arrives, earlier than planned. In the Rovers, Dev fawns over Aunty Rani while Bernie adopts a posh accent in a bid to impress her. When Aunty Rani reveals her plan to create a spreadsheet detailing all the wedding costs so she can keep tabs on the amount she's spent, Bernie and Aadi hide their dismay. View More » Dee-Dee rushes off to work leaving Laila in James's capable hands. Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) introduces Dee-Dee to their new client, Ollie. With Kevin Webster still lying about his cancer results, making wife Abi Franklin believe he needs more treatment, his brother Carl Webster fights the urge to tell her the truth amid their secret feelings. Abi does end up finding out the truth from someone else, confronting Kevin who admits his lie and explains he did it out of fear she would leave him for his brother Carl. He ends up pushing her straight into Carl's arms though, and they begin to kiss passionately. ‌ Despite their moment of intimacy, Carl tells Abi she would be right to stick with Kevin and that they should stay apart from now on. When Kevin sacks his brother from the garage after his recent dodgy dealings, Carl decides a fresh start is needed and he plans to move away from Weatherfield. When Abi finds out she's left gutted, but will Carl stay? And what will Abi do? Elsewhere, in the fallout to Lily Platt terrorising her cousin Sam Blakeman, he gets his own back next week with a fake story about a robbery at her home. Lily's left terrified unaware Sam has taken revenge after her recent behaviour. Soon, Sam is confiding in Toyah Battersby about his anxiety and his recent panic attacks - but will he tell his dad Nick? ‌ There's more drama for the Bailey family too, as James moves ahead with the adoption plans for his sister Dee-Dee' daughter Laila, amid her torn over what she wants to do. Ed Bailey is keen for his kids to clear the air as they remain divided over Laila's future, while James is plotting to leave - but will he take the baby with him? When Aunty Rani reveals her plan to create a spreadsheet detailing all the wedding costs so she can keep tabs on the amount she's spent, Bernie and Aadi hide their dismay - but what are they up to? ‌ There's more trouble ahead for Todd Grimshaw and new partner Theo Silverton. Todd has to attend a restorative justice session with Noah, after he attacked him recently over his past with Theo. Todd had seen him practicing conversion therapy on a member of the congregation and took action, after Noah pushed Theo into this years earlier. But there's a bigger twist ahead when Noah seems to take payback, and maybe Theo's wife Danielle does too. ‌ It's revealed they are dating, much to the horror of Todd and Theo given what Noah did. Theo ends up lashing out but accidentally hurts his son Miles leading to him being told he isn't allowed to see his kids. When Billy Mayhew tries to help with the situation it backfires, leaving Theo lashing out once more and telling lies - with Todd horrified. Finally next week, we learn what Carla was hiding from her partner Lisa Swain amid her turmoil over her past. Skipping therapy, Lisa instead spends some time at her late wife Becky's grave ahead of their anniversary. Carla supports Lisa, and as the day arrives Lisa is clearly struggling. ‌ Carla and stepdaughter Betsy Swain are worried about Lisa, knowing she's not doing well at all. Lisa insists she's okay though and heads off for another therapy session. She does open up to her therapist, with us finally realising what is bothering the detective. She confesses that she often wonders if there was more to Becky's death than meets the eye. With questions continuing over whether Becky was corrupt or not, it's clear she needs to know what really happened to Becky and what was going on with her wife before her death in order for her to move on. ‌ She has no idea that Carla is on a mission to get her those answers, with her visiting Logan Radcliffe in prison who clearly knows something. Logan's link to what happened to Becky was explored on the show earlier this year, while Betsy failed to get anything out of Logan. Carla decides to try though, determined to help Lisa and get to the bottom of what really happened. Does she get anything out of Logan though? Later on the week, Lisa does some digging of her own. She sneaks into DI Costello's office and searches his email for any reference to Becky Swain. But will she find anything out and will she be caught? It seems she finds something out about Kit Green as she soon confronts her colleague. ‌ She tells him she saw his name on the computer which stated that he had asked for access to Becky's file. Having it out with Kit, it's not revealed what he says or what this means, but she later tells Carla she cannot work with Kit anymore. She slams the detective for going behind her back, unaware Carla, out of love, has done the same. But will Carla admit what she's up to, and how will Lisa react? Sumo: Onosato stunned, Hoshoryu falls again as both yokozuna beaten

NAGOYA (Kyodo) -- Onosato suffered his first defeat as a yokozuna while his fellow grand champion Hoshoryu fell to a third straight defeat as a day of upsets left only four wrestlers with a perfect record at the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament on Wednesday. Onosato (3-1) thought he was heading to another routine win as he drove forward against Oho (1-3) but lacked a final push, backed off in the face of the No. 2 maegashira's counter before getting shoved out surprisingly easily in front of a stunned crowd at the newly built IG Arena. "I managed to stay leaning forward despite being put under pressure and pushed him back," Oho said after his first win of the meet. "I knew the yokozuna would win if he was able to grab my belt." It came after another loss for Mongolian-born Hoshoryu (1-3), who found himself on the back foot straight from the off in the face of ferocious shoves to throat and chest from Abi (3-1), but appeared to have rescued an unlikely win as he tried to stay inside the ring with his left toe on the straw. No. 2 maegashira Abi stepped out attempting to push the yokozuna out, and the referee initially named Hoshoryu the winner. But a replay showed his heel hit the sand outside the ring before Abi, and the ringside judges overturned the decision. Evergreen Mongolian-born Tamawashi (4-0) continued his perfect start after the 40-year-old went head-on against up-and-coming Hakuoho (2-2) and overpowered his fellow No. 4 maegashira, 19 years his junior, in a gutsy push-out win. Tamawashi, whose 1,700-plus consecutive appearances since his March 2004 debut is a record in the ancient sport, also moved third with his 1,066 straight outing in the elite makuuchi division. Sekiwake Kirishima (4-0) opted to take time but was never troubled in grappling out his fellow Mongolian-born wrestler Oshoma (0-4) as the former ozeki left the komusubi debutant still without a victory. No. 8 maegashira Ichiyamamoto (4-0) pushed down tricky No. 9 maegashira Ura (3-1) in a battle of unbeaten wrestlers, while former ozeki Mitakeumi (4-0), back in makuuchi as No. 16 maegashira after a meet in second-tier juryo in May, also won to stay perfect. Lone ozeki Kotozakura (2-2) evened his mark after outlasting No. 1 maegashira Wakamotoharu (1-3) in a 1-minute, 16-second marathon to secure a force-out win. Ukrainian Aonishiki (3-1) remained razor-sharp on the back of his emphatic win over Hoshoryu a day earlier as the No. 1 maegashira's low drive and fierce shoves left Wakatakakage (2-2) with no answer. The sekiwake, who went 12-3 in May, was shoved out to his second straight defeat.
