The world of the WAGS (aka Wives and Girlfriends of professional athletes) is a tight-knit community that is constantly documented via the likes of Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes. However, there is plenty of #BlackGirlMagic running through the world of the WAGS, and it includes some of our faves. And with Ciara and Russell Wilson playing matchmaker, (they've paired Normani and DK Metcalf, Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell) we love to see these celebrity women entering their soft era. The R&B singer and the NFL Star's love story has been so admired by many that fans were asking for the exact prayer that Ciara said to God when she was seeking her true love. Fast forward to the present, and the happy couple has a house full of beautiful children and continues to show what a healthy relationship looks like. Normani & DK Metcalf Taking a page out of the book of many who came before her, Normani kept her relationship with NFL star DK Metcalf largely under wraps for several months before finally confirming their relationship via Instagram in July 2023. Less than 2 years later, in March 2025, the couple officially announced their engagement. In a 2024 interview with Rolling Stone , Normani shared that Metcalf was 'definitely an answered prayer.' Coco Jones R&B star and actress Coco Jones is riding high these days, as both her career and her personal life are totally in sync. In a surprise move for fans, in July 2025, she and boyfriend of two years, NFL star Donovan Mitchell, announced that they were engaged via a joint post on social media. Jones has been very protective of the pair's relationship prior to the engagement and provided very minimal details about who she was dating. Megan Thee Stallion & Klay Thompson The newest WAG couple on the block recently sent fans into a tailspin, as Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson officially set the rumors to rest and made their relationship Instagram official courtesy of a series of photos and video. While the details of their relationship are scarce at the moment, we expect it will only be a matter of time before fans are shipping them as their new favorite celebrity couple. Kendrick Lamar's Tour With SZA Helps His Most Recent Album Soar

They began their run with performances in Germany, then crossed over to the United Kingdom for a handful of dates throughout the month. The chart-toppers are scheduled to perform in cities like Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff, and London. Fans of both artists — especially Lamar — have shown their excitement by buying and streaming his latest album GNX in huge numbers, turning it into a chart smash once again. Kendrick Lamar's GNX Returns Thanks to the surge in attention surrounding Lamar's tour, GNX returns to four U.K. rankings this week. The full-length, which dropped in late 2024, appears in the lower reaches of the Official Physical Albums (No. 83), Official Albums Streaming (No. 89), Official Albums (No. 92), and Official Albums Sales charts (No. 93). Back Inside the Top 10 GNX is also present on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, but unlike on the other four tallies, the full-length doesn't need to return. Lamar's fans have kept the project on that genre-specific ranking for months. This week, it lifts back into the top 10, surging from No. 11 to No. 8. Kendrick Lamar Claims Five Charting Albums Lamar fills five spaces on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums tally this week, with GNX leading the way. That project is followed by To Pimp a Butterfly, good kid, m.A.A.d city, DAMN., and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, which come in at Nos. 11, 22, 26, and 39, respectively. The first four of Lamar's efforts climb, while the latter reappears on the ranking. GNX Has Spent Months on the U.K. Charts GNX has spent the most time on the Official Albums chart, the most competitive list of releases currently loved by U.K. residents. On that roster, Lamar's latest is up to 28 stints on the roster. The set has earned the shortest stay on the Official Physical Albums tally, where it only hits 20 weeks this time around. The bestselling release has also landed 20-plus moments on the other three rosters throughout its months-long lifetime.

Benny Blanco Says He Shazams His Own Songs Sometimes: 'I Can't Remember Anything'
Even if Benny Blanco made the song, it doesn't mean he's going to remember it forever. The record producer and songwriter made a recent appearance on Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast, where he admitted that he has to look up his own songs sometimes. 'Sometimes I am in a restaurant and I'm like, 'Oh, my god, this song's so good.' And I Shazam it, and then it's my own song.' Shazam is an app that names songs in seconds by analyzing a short audio sample. He added that he occasionally doesn't realize it's his own songs because 'I'm old and I can't remember anything. And I've done like hundreds of songs that have come out,' as he noted that 'he's been making songs for 16 years.' When Blanco saw the confused look on Shane's face, he asked the comedian, 'Do you remember every single podcast, every word you said?… Let's say you're on your 16th season of your podcast and someone's like, 'Did you interview Chelsea Handler?' And you're like, 'I think so?'' 'Oh, I guess you're right,' Shane responded. The producer, who is engaged to Selena Gomez, has collaborated with numerous artists over the years, creating some of the biggest hits, including Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself,' Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream,' Rihanna's 'Diamonds,' Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' and more. Teyana Taylor Gushes On How Aaron Pierre ‘Handles' Her ‘Like A Cup Of Tea'
Teyana Taylor is always open to talking about her boo, Aaron Pierre, and now she's letting us know exactly how he handles her. In a teaser for an upcoming interview with Complex Music, the singer and actress revealed that her lion King is 'very gentle' and that his support of her new music was all the help she needed. 'It felt good to have someone be as passionate and as serious as you are,' Taylor said. 'When you work on something, you have a whole team that's supported, but nobody ever gonna see it the way you see it. Sometimes, you might get so passionate, they're looking at you like, 'chill out' but to have a person that's right there like 'yup! mhmmm', to have someone on your side fully hear you and don't think your visions are crazy, don't think that what you see or what you feel is crazy…' She continued, 'I'm really big on how you handle me, and I feel like you got to handle me like a cup of tea. How would you walk with a cup of tea versus how you would walk with a bottle of water? You walk with a bottle of water, you're like, shaking the water, you throwing it up and down. With a cup of tea you walk slower. You're more calm, you're more delicate. And even when you sip it, what happens if you sip the tea too, too fast? You're going to burn your tongue. I am a cup of tea.' Snap, snap, snap . Heard you, Teyana! 'I feel like he handles me as such, you know, he's very, very gentle. It allows me to feel warm and to feel safe and not be in survival mode,' she said in closing. Our girl has been basking in that pride rock loving since going public with Pierre during this year's Oscars after parties and has released visuals starring her new man for two tracks from her upcoming project, Escape Room . The latest, 'Bed of Roses' features the two sharing some sweet, intimate moments bed of roses, and the internet has not been able to handle all the heat. The teaser brought celebs like Winnie Harlow, Monica and Audra Day to the comments to gush over the hot couple. The cute visuals also feature a spoken intro from actress Issa Rae who seems to be telling the story of how Teyana and Aaron came to fall for one another unexpectedly. May that type of surprise find us all! It's unclear when the two may have started getting cozy, but it's obvious that they're both really into what they're building together. Not only did Tey throw him a surprise birthday dinner with both of their families and friends, she also brought him along to the BET Awards where she had her daughters, Junie and Rue Rose, by her side as well. Doechii Commands Attention In Stunning ‘British Vogue' Cover Shoot
Source: Matt Jelonek / Getty After a whirlwind year that has been the biggest of her career, with Grammy wins and high-profile stages to prove it, Doechii has reached another milestone in the entertainment world — officially landing her very first Vogue cover, British Vogue to be exact. As the August 2025 cover girl, Doechii not only slayed and served face with the pictorial, but she also opened up about her career, taking fashion risks and her viral Trump speech at this year's BET Awards. After using her acceptance speech to call him out regarding his highly discriminatory practices, she told the outlet that she has zero regrets. 'I'm not that desensitised, and it felt right,' Doechii reflected. 'I felt like I needed to use that moment, and they were live, so it wasn't s—t they could do about it.' On her outlook on fashion, Doechii shared that her sartorial style starts with where she is personally and the inspirations trickle down from there. 'My look says more about where I am currently in my life than it says anything about who I am,' she revealed. 'I'm really attracted to a preppy style – it makes me feel confident, and it's hot, it's sharp, and I feel like me. This next stage in my life – I'm not sure what it's about yet.' Although fans are still bumping her Grammy-winning album Alligator Bites Never Heal , Doechii is already hard at work on her next sonic effort and gave a preview about what fans can expect from her next era. 'I've been sonically sketching, but once July hits, it's time to really make those ideas come to life,' she told British Vogue . 'I want this world to sound very raw. I make those ideas come to life once I give myself restriction.'
