Pau Victor will leave Barcelona for the Czech Republic for €15m: When will the deal happen?
The La Masia native is expected to leave the club soon. Pau Victor will leave Barcelona for the Czech Republic for €15m: When will the deal happen? Barcelona's La Masia striker Pau Victor is set to leave the club soon, and is expected to move to Portugal to sign a full contract with Braga soon. According to some press reports, most notably from The Athletic, the player's current market value is €12 million, as determined by Barcelona for those who want to sign him, plus an additional €3 million in variables. The player's name has been linked to several clubs. The young Barcelona defender has made his decision, opting for a move to Portuguese side Braga despite interest from Valencia. The 23-year-old, who previously expressed his desire to remain at Camp Nou, ultimately recognized the need for regular minutes after a frustrating season with just two La Liga starts under Hansi Flick. This transfer serves dual purposes - providing Victor with the playing opportunities he craves while helping Barcelona's precarious financial situation. The Catalan club continues its summer clearout, with Victor joining a growing list of departures that includes Pablo Torre, Ansu Fati, Clement Lenglet, and Alex Valle. While Valencia had explored a loan arrangement, Victor's preference for Braga suggests the Portuguese club offered a more compelling sporting project. The move represents a fresh start for the defender, who now faces the challenge of reigniting his career away from Barcelona's spotlight. As Barcelona prioritizes player sales to accommodate new arrivals, Victor's exit follows a familiar pattern of young talents seeking opportunities elsewhere after struggling to break through at the demanding Catalan club.

Barcelona forward ‘set to complete' €15m move
Barcelona on the verge of sealing their biggest sale of the summer so far, as they look to raise funds for to register new signings. Forward Pau Victor arrived for just Victor is unlikely to get much in the way of opportunites though, having played just 379 minutes under Hansi Flick this past season. With the arrival of Marcus Rashford, slated for today, Victor seems unlikely to receive much more in the way of chances next campaign, and has been left out of Barcelona's preseason tour to Japan and South Korea in order to settle his future. Offer from Braga for Pau Victor It reported that Victor had an offer on the table that he was keen to accept, but it seems the deal is much further along than previously though. The Athletic report that Victor is 'set to join' the Portuguese side, with the deal bringing in €12m for Barcelona, plus a further €3m in variables. Fabrizio Romano has added that Barcelona are negotiating to include a buyback clause in the 23-year-old's contract. Valencia drop out of race A number of clubs had been previously linked with Victor, who impressed in preseason last summer, and finished as top scorer for Barca Atletic two years ago. The most recent were Valencia, who had supposedly enquired about Victor's services. Yet RadioMarca say that due to the prospective cost of the deal, they have decided to look at other options. Los Che have not forked out such a high fee since spending €35m on Jasper Cillessen in 2019. Image viaBarcelona sales this summer Victor would be a sixth exit this summer for the Blaugrana. Clement Lenglet came to an agreement to terminate his deal before joining Atletico Madrid, while Ansu Fati and Ander Astralaga have joined AS Monaco and Granada on loan respectively. Pablo Torre has joined RCD Mallorca in a €5m deal, and Alex Valle has signed for Como in a €6m deal. Although Barcelona have benefitted from some sell-on clauses, Victor's exit would more than double their current takings.

Barcelona striker Pau Victor set to complete permanent Braga transfer
Barcelona striker Pau Victor is set to complete a permanent transfer to Braga in a deal that will be worth a €12million (£10.4m) fixed fee plus €3m (£2.5m) in add-ons. The 23-year-old forward has four years remaining on his Barcelona contract. However, being behind Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres in the pecking order in addition to Marcus Rashford's impending arrival would see Victor's game time limited. Victor is set to join the list of young players who have left Barcelona this summer. Pablo Torre has joined Mallorca, Alex Valle has completed a permanent move to Como, and Ansu Fati has joined Monaco on loan. After coming through Girona's youth academy, Victor joined Barcelona on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024. Victor made his La Liga debut in August 2024, and made 29 first-team appearances last season. In April, Victor and Dani Olmo were allowed to play for Barcelona for the rest of the season after the Spanish government upheld the club's appeal over their registration issues. Advertisement Previously, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and La Liga cancelled the pair's sporting licenses, required by players in Spain to represent their club or country. Victor will replace Braga striker Roberto Fernandez, after the 23-year-old joined Espanyol earlier this month. Braga finished fourth in the Primeira Liga last season, behind Porto, Benfica and champions Sporting.
