California Burrito Founder Falls For Butter Soaked Jowar Bhakri In Bengaluru

Last Updated: Bert Mueller was recently spotted enjoying a traditional North Karnataka meal in Basavanagudi called Kamat, where he tried a Jowar Bhakri thali. Bert Mueller, an American businessman who started the popular Mexican food chain California Burrito in Bengaluru, was recently spotted enjoying a traditional North Karnataka meal. He visited a well-known vegetarian restaurant in Basavanagudi called Kamat, where he tried a Jowar Bhakri thali. Bert shared that he first came to this restaurant in 2014, following a suggestion from his accountant. What he liked about thali is that it had fresh vegetables, crunchy salads, and it was filled with flavours. He specifically enjoyed the butter melting on the Jowar roti, which went perfectly with the eggplant curry. Speaking with Servd Bengaluru, the entrepreneur said, 'We're going to have a wonderful veg meal at, Kamat Hotel, Bugle Road. So my CA showed me this restaurant way back in 2014 and I loved it. There's a lot of fresh vegetables, there's like all sorts of different salads and chutneys. I really like healthy food. Generally, in Thalis, you don't get a lot of raw vegetables, but for whatever reason, they serve a lot. They give a beautiful piece of fresh butter on Jowar Roti and then they have a nice Baingan." 'These jowar bhakri meals are like another people do this format than Kamat, but I found, theirs is the best. I believe this is a Northern Karnataka, Uttara Karnataka meal. One cool thing here is the unlimited buttermilk. They add a little garlic and it's different than other places. They do a very good job with the variety of textures and tastes. I just love the freshness. I don't usually come to this side of the city, but I come over here at least twice, three times a year to have food. Can't go to the gym after all this," Bert Mueller added. Reacting to the post, a user wrote, 'Lol, the head shakes from side to side. You are so integrated. Love this for you." Another jokingly shared, 'Eligible for Aadhar. Haven't they issued you one yet?" 'Love the buttermilk appreciation," a comment read. An individual stated, 'Bro brought Mexican food to India and he's enjoying our culture and food to the fullest." Another mentioned, 'Bro spoke more Kannada than some other people for 14 years." One more added, 'He eats more like a typical South Indian, which many North Indians don't know how to eat with one hand." Bert Mueller began California Burrito when he was only 22 years old. He used money collected from his family and friends to turn his idea into a real business. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: News viral California Burrito Founder Falls For Butter Soaked Jowar Bhakri In Bengaluru Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. ‘Bro Uses 100% Brain': Mischievous Parrot Goes Viral For Outsmarting Friend

Last Updated: A clever parrot amused viewers by stealing rings from its fellow parrot during a training game, showing smart (and sneaky) behaviour. A video of two parrots racing to place rings on pegs has gone viral and won the hearts of viewers. Shared on Instagram, the clip shows a fun yet unexpected moment that left many people amused. In the video, one of the parrots is fully focused, carefully picking up rings and trying to place them on the peg during what seems like a training exercise. This activity is meant to improve their coordination and brainpower, often used as a form of enrichment for pet birds, as per the caption. But what surprised viewers was what happened next. Instead of focusing on its task, the clever parrot began removing the rings that the other parrot had already placed and started stacking them on its peg. This wasn't a one-time thing either; the sneaky bird kept repeating the same trick, taking rings from its companion while the other parrot continued to bring more from the starting point, completely unaware that all its work was being undone. The caption of the post explains that this was part of a parrot training session where birds learn to place rings on pegs, using toys like Amazon's Birdie Ring Toss or following guides from wikiHow. These activities encourage parrots to use their intelligence and help keep them engaged. The caption also highlights the competitive behaviour of the mischievous parrot, suggesting that such actions may stem from instincts like territorial behaviour, especially in captivity, where such instincts don't always have an outlet. Smarter, Not Harder: Bird's Tactic Goes Viral Since it was shared on July 24, the video has received over 53 million views. Many viewers couldn't stop laughing and shared their reactions in the comments. 'If work smarter, not harder, was an animal," a user wrote. Another said, 'He didn't play the game, he played the parrot." 'That explains smart work play off," an individual added. Someone else commented, 'This morning I saw such a cute reel, now my day will go well. I'm very happy." Another viewer stated, 'Bro uses his 100 per cent brain." These parrots didn't just complete the task, they made the internet smile. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. Compared to other major releases this year, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' couldn't match the record set by Pawan Kalyan's nephew Ram Charan's 'Game Changer', which earned Rs 51 crore on its opening a look at the trailer here: On its second day, the Telugu-language film registered an overall occupancy of 24.42 per cent, starting at 17.75 per cent for morning shows, rising to 20.17 per cent in the afternoon, 27.21 per cent in the evening, and peaking at 32.53 per cent during the night screenings. Mahbubnagar led with the highest occupancy at 45.25 per cent, followed by Warangal at 31.50 per cent and Hyderabad at 28.75 per in the 1650s, the story follows Veera Mallu (Pawan Kalyan), a Robin Hood-like outlaw drawn into a web of politics, resistance, and legend. Initially recruited by the King of Kollur, Veera escapes with Panchami (Nidhhi Agerwal) and impresses Qutub Shah (Dalip Tahil), who entrusts him with a greater task: steal the Koh-i-Noor from Mughal emperor Aurangzeb (Bobby Deol). But this isn't just about the diamond. Beneath the mission lies a personal journey, marked by buried secrets and emotional review of the film reads, ''Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1' is a film full of ideas, ambition, and star power, but its execution doesn't quite rise to match them. It sets the stage, offers glimpses of what could be an epic, but stumbles too often to leave a lasting impact. What it needed was tighter writing, better tonal control, and sharper visual storytelling.'- EndsMust Watch
