Xiaomi 15T Pro name and model number confirmed as it's spotted on Geekbench

Last year, Xiaomi unveiled the 14T and 14T Pro in late September, and the brand is now busy working on their successors. Thanks to a recent certification by NBTC in Thailand, we now know that the Xiaomi 15T Pro has the model number 2506BPN68G, where the "G" at the end stands for "global". Hence, it will probably launch in all the markets where the previous T-series devices have been available. The model number also gives us the 15T Pro's Geekbench run from a few days ago, now confirming that it is indeed this device. It managed a single-core score of 1,057 and a multi-core score of 4,009 in Geekbench 6.4.0 for Android, and as we usually say - don't pay much attention to such scores achieved by testing prototypes. The phone has been revealed to sport a MediaTek chipset, which aligns nicely with past rumors claiming it would be based on the Redmi K80 Ultra that launched in China in June with the Dimensity 9400+ at the helm. Do however keep in mind that the T series devices have rarely been direct rebrands recently, so while the 15T Pro is based on the K80 Ultra, there will be differences, most likely in the camera department. The battery could be in for a change too, the 15T Pro rumored to swap the K80 Ultra's 7,410 mAh unit for a 5,500 mAh cell with support for 90W fast wired charging. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has also been certified by the FCC, and that agency has mentioned it arriving in three storage versions: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. RAM will be 12GB for all three. Redmi K Pad disassembled and reviewed ahead of launch

Xiaomi is preparing to launch two 'Redmi K' flagships in China – the Redmi K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad. The company is trickling out official details for both, but we already saw WekiHome disassemble and review the smartphone. Now they have done the same with the mini tablet. The Redmi K Pad will have an 8.8' IPS LCD, which supports Dolby Vision, judging by the label on the side (and Dolby Atmos for the speakers). The screen has 3,008 x 1,880px resolution (16:10), 165Hz refresh rate and DC dimming. When tested, the display achieved a brightness of 566 nits and was able to go up to 610 nits in high brightness mode. Redmi K Pad: 8.8' 165Hz IPS LCD with Dolby Vision The tablet has a unibody metal design with a sandblasted finish. It tips the scales at 336g and measures 6.46mm thick – this tablet is all about performance in a highly portable form factor. The Redmi K Pad weighs 336g and is 6.46mm thick Speaking of, the tablet is powered by the Dimensity 9400+, plus LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. In testing, the chipset showed impressive performance and cooling proved better than on many tablets, even ones larger than the K Pad. Xiaomi used a large 12,050mm² vapor chamber to wick heat away from the chipset and dump it into the metal frame. Interestingly, the vapor chamber is made of an aluminum alloy instead of the traditional copper to save weight. There's some foam padding that will cushion the internals in case of a fall. Redmi K Pad (D9400+) sized up against the RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro (SD 8 Elite) (image source) The motherboard is placed along the centerline of the tablet, which helps distribute heat more evenly. The battery is split into two cells on either side and there are also speakers (with Atmos) next to each cell. The two battery cells have a combined capacity of 7,500mAh – one is 3,505mAh (13.78Wh) and the other is a bit bigger at 3,995mAh (15.71Wh). A 67W charger is included in the box, though the tablet only pulled 55W at maximum and needed 61 minutes for a 1% to 100% charge. Bypass charging is supported. Redmi K Pad's internals The USB-C port is located on the motherboard and is wired for USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds (5Gbps). It supports DisplayPort. There are two cameras on board the tablet – a 13MP module on the back (OV13B 1/3.06') and an 8MP one on the front (OV08F, 1/4'). There is no fingerprint reader on board. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Leaks: The Full Rundown So Far

Samsung is gearing up to redefine the high-performance tablet market with its upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 series. Early leaks and reports suggest that these flagship devices will feature advanced hardware, including MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 series chipsets, and are anticipated to debut in late 2025. If you're considering an upgrade to a premium tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could emerge as a compelling option. Watch this video on YouTube. Two Models, One Powerful Lineup The Galaxy Tab S11 series is rumored to consist of two models: the standard Galaxy Tab S11 and the high-end Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both models are expected to be powered by MediaTek's state-of-the-art Dimensity 9400 chipsets, with the Ultra model likely featuring the more advanced Dimensity 9400 Plus. This marks a significant shift for Samsung, which has traditionally relied on Qualcomm or its in-house Exynos processors for flagship devices. The Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset in the Ultra model is designed to deliver top-tier performance. It features a Cortex X925 core clocked at 3.73 GHz and a 12-core ARM Immortalis G925 GPU, making it well-suited for demanding tasks such as gaming, multitasking, and video editing. However, early benchmark scores—1420 for single-core and 5312 for multi-core—indicate that the Ultra may slightly trail smartphones equipped with the same chipset. This performance gap could be attributed to the tablet's focus on sustained performance and thermal efficiency, which are often prioritized over raw speed in larger devices. Hardware Designed for Power Users Samsung appears to be targeting power users with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's impressive hardware specifications. The tablet is expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of base storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and productivity tools. Running on Android 16, the Ultra is likely to offer a smooth and intuitive user experience, enhanced by the latest software innovations. Battery life is another standout feature of the Galaxy Tab S11 series. The standard model is rumored to include an 8160 mAh battery, while the Ultra could come equipped with a massive 11,374 mAh capacity. This substantial battery size is designed to support all-day usage, even under heavy workloads. Whether you're streaming, working, or gaming, the Ultra's battery is engineered to keep up with your demands, making sure uninterrupted productivity and entertainment. Performance and Strategic Positioning Despite its impressive hardware, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's benchmark results have sparked some discussion. Compared to smartphones using the same Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, the Ultra's scores are slightly lower. This discrepancy may reflect Samsung's focus on optimizing the tablet for sustained performance and thermal management, which are critical for larger devices that handle prolonged workloads. Samsung's decision to streamline its lineup by offering only the base and Ultra models is also noteworthy. By skipping a 'Plus' variant, the company appears to be simplifying its product range to target two distinct user groups: casual users and professionals. This focused approach could enhance Samsung's competitiveness in the high-performance Android tablet market, allowing the company to better address the specific needs of its audience. Launch Timeline and What to Expect The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to launch in late 2025, likely during the fall season. For those in the market for a new tablet, these devices are shaping up to be strong contenders. With MediaTek's latest chipsets, generous RAM and storage, and long-lasting batteries, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is poised to appeal to power users seeking a premium experience. As the release date approaches, more details are likely to emerge, including pricing and additional features. For now, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra represents a significant step forward for Samsung, combining innovative technology with a refined market strategy. This approach aims to deliver a high-performance tablet tailored to the needs of modern users, making sure it stands out in an increasingly competitive market.
