Crowned In Curls: Beyoncé's Best ‘Cowboy Carter' Hair Moments

Source: Shutterstock / Shutterstock Beyoncé has been redefining country glam with her Cowboy Carter tour, and her hair has played a starring role in the show. From blonde waves to buss down middle parts, each of Bey's hairstyles have told a story that intertwines Southern roots, Black beauty, and the freedom to express it all. Beyoncé's tour hairstyles have always been a key part of her performance persona, almost as iconic as the choreography and vocals. From the honey-blonde, wind-blown waves of the Dangerously in Love era to the long, wet-look strands that defined Drunk in Love , the Cécred Hair Care founder's tresses has evolved right alongside her music. On the Formation tour, she gave us sculptural braids and Afrocentric styles that felt like visual declarations of Black power. During Renaissance , she shimmered in silver with high-glam, high-volume tresses that matched the album's Studio 54 energy. On each tour, Bey's hair not only complements the vibe but also helps define it. Beyoncé's Best 'Cowboy Carter' Tour Hair Moments This era of Beyoncé isn't just about rhinestones and fringe; it's about reclamation. Her hair, ever-changing yet always flawless, echoes the themes of the Cowboy Carter album itself: tradition flipped on its head, heritage honored with an edge, and confidence that unapologetically gallops across genres. Whether Bey is channeling a rodeo-ready cowgirl or giving us full-on disco diva, her hair moves like her music, timeless, transformative, and rooted in culture. As the tour continues to dazzle, we're taking a moment to celebrate the hair moments that have left us in awe. Scroll down for a visual roundup of Beyoncé's most iconic Cowboy Carter hairstyles that were worthy of its own standing ovation. Crowned In Curls: Beyoncé's Best 'Cowboy Carter' Hair Moments was originally published on Bey and her loose blonde curls are a match made in Heaven. They frame her gorgeous face perfectly, and they also catch and bounce to the beat right along with the star. There's nothing more appealing than Bey tossing a head full of lively curls back and forth, around and around, while on stage. This hairstyle is the queen's signature 'do and possibly our favorite. Bey is the mother of buss downs! The Grammy award-winning artist has since been rocking the popular hairstyle, and she wears it well. Now and then, she will wear it straight, but most of the time, she includes some version of curls in the mix. Bey nails this 70's hairstyle each time. We all know the Houston native loves a good hair + fan moment, and this hairstyle is ideal for that hair-blowing moment that Mrs. Carter always slays. The waves are Beyoncé's thing! The texture adds a little more life to her tresses, giving the singer an effortless glamorous vibe and contributing to the carefree elegance that she exudes on stage.

Jay-Z shades Kanye West during Beyoncé concert after brutal attack on kids

Don't miss out on the headlines from Movies. Followed categories will be added to My News. Jay-Z threw subtle shade at Kanye West during a surprise cameo at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour on Sunday. Not only did the couple perform Crazy in Love and Drunk in Love, remixed with Partition, at Paris' Stade de France, but Jay-Z, 55, also performed N****s in Paris. The 2011 song, notably, is the hit single from his and West's Watch the Throne album. While the lyrics read, 'Just might let you meet Ye,' the Roc Nation founder omitted West's name from the song, according to fan footage. 'Just might let you meet Bey,' Jay-Z rapped instead, referencing his wife of 17 years. Reps for Jay-Z and West have yet to respond toPage Six's requests for comment. Kanye and Jay-Z on stage in NYC in 2010. The diss came three months after West made headlines for attacking Jay-Z and Beyoncé's kids in an unprovoked rant via X. In the appalling tweets, the Yeezy creator questioned the little ones' mental capacity. While he expressed remorse for the viral tweets, West took his apology back during an interview with DJ Akademiks later that same month. He called the tweets some of his 'worst' — or maybe his 'best' and 'strongest'. West issued a subsequent apology in April, only to immediately ask a vulgar question about Beyoncé, 43. The pair was once close – but not anymore. Picture:For BET The Single Ladies singer and Jay-Z, who are also the parents of 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, were 'discussing how they want to handle this situation, whether that be privately and/or in a legal matter,' a source told Page Six. We heard the couple would 'absolutely not stand' for the 'vulgar and offensive' statements. While Jay-Z and West's working relationship began in 2000, the Grammy winners have been at odds for years. Jay-Z told the New York Times about their 'complicated' bond in 2017, saying, 'There's certain things that happened that's not really acceptable to me. … But there's genuine love there'. Jay-Z Disses Kanye West With Lyric Swap Months After He Publicly Disrespected His Kids

Months after Kanye West publicly disrespected the kids of his former friends Jay-Z and Beyoncé, it appears Jay-Z has fired back at his ex-collaborator. While hitting the stage alongside Beyoncé during her 'Cowboy Carter' show in Paris on Sunday, Jay-Z made a very noticeable lyric change. While performing his and West's 2011 hit song 'N—s in Paris' from their joint album 'Watch the Throne,' Jay-Z swapped the tune's original lyrics 'just might let you meet Ye' to 'just might let you meet Bey,' as seen in clips shared by social media users. As expected, social media users on X, formerly Twitter, reacted to Jay-Z's shady, altered lyrics. (@b0mbchell_) June 22, 2025 Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) and West, who goes by Ye, went from collaborating as tight-knit friends in the music industry to falling out over the last decade. The pair was once one of the most dynamic duos in hip-hop, but in recent years Ye has frequently made headlines for his controversial comments, including antisemitic statements shared on social media, and erratic behavior, subsequently losing multiple brand deals. Back in March, Ye was criticized by social media users after he posted ableist comments aimed at Jay-Z and Beyoncé's twin kids — Rumi and Sir. The 'Drunk in Love' collaborators, who tied the knot in 2008 also share daughter Blue Ivy. 'WAIT HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN JAY Z AND BEYONCES YOUNGER KIDS,' the rapper said in a since-deleted tweet. 'THEYRE RETARDED NO LIKE LITERALLY.' Jay-Z has not publicly addressed Ye's comments about Rumi and Sir. The record executive previously broke his silence on his strained relationship with Ye while speaking with The New York Times in 2017. 'He's my brother. I love Kanye. I do. It's a complicated relationship with us,' he told the outlet. 'Kanye came into this business on my label. So I've always been like his big brother. And we're both entertainers. It's always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother.' Jay-Z added: 'And we both love and respect each other's art too … And then there's like a lot of other factors that play in it. But it's gonna, we gonna always be good.'
