Coronation Street fans want awkward relationship to stop
Some have said Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) should 'pack it in' on the ITV soap, as they described their new relationship as 'forced and awkward'. Kit and Sarah became an item a few months ago after his connection with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) no longer had sparks flying, and Sarah's marriage to Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) came to an end following her affair with Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths). Corrie fans brand Kit and Sarah's relationship 'weird' In a post discussing Kit and Sarah's chemistry, someone wrote on the subreddit r/coronationstreet: 'Anyone else think how forced and awkward this entire relationship is? 'They have zero chemistry and when they do interact it's like watching paint dry. They need to pack it in.' This viewer replied: 'I commented when he first arrived that they would end up together. It was when she planted evidence about something. Should they be together? No. Put her back with Adam. But it won't happen.' The former football coach had Ed Sheeran as a guest on the new episode of her podcast, and she revealed that the 14-time Grammy-winning singer is her cheat code to getting applause from the Philadelphia audience. The Shape of You crooner also admitted that Swift's presence anywhere is enough for the crowd to erupt in cheers and lauds. Ed Sheeran and the Bad Karma crooner are great friends and have known each other from a longtime. The duo have also collaborated on various music projects, including on the hit track, Endgame. Kylie Kelce calls Taylor Swift her cheat code Kelce, the host of her podcast, asked the Perfect singer about the moment in his career when he received the most applause. Ed Sheeran replied that the moment took place in 2013, when Eminem was present at his concert. He explained that the rapper worked like a 'cheat code' for him to gain the loudest cheers. Leaked Marvel Doomsday images show The Avengers finally coming together with The Fantastic Four
Marvel is gearing up for its biggest film since Endgame, and even though Avengers Doomsday is set to release in 2026, the fans have been getting little peeks behind the scenes from time to time, thanks to leaked pictures, plot points and videos. Another image from the sets of the film found its way online when someone from the crew decided to share their experience of being on a Marvel set. The images have left the fans in a frenzy, with all of them coming up with their own crazy theories of what the image might mean. In the frame, the fans can see The Thing from Fantastic Four and US Agent from Thunderbolts* and The Falcon in the same frame and in full costume. The duo seem to be standing inside of a control room, and the windows surrounding them suggest that it might be the cockpit of a spaceship. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who plays the Thing, is wearing his suit, which is later rendered into the actual superhero, and Wyatt Russel, who plays the Agent, is also wearing his suit. Earlier leaks, which were never confirmed, by the way, showed what looked like the fictional island nation of Madripoor. A fan posted several short videos while trespassing through the supposed set of the film, and even though some fans were cynical about the validity of the videos, most were excited to get a glimpse of what lies ahead. Thunderbolts* received a positive reaction from audiences and critics, but Marvel is yet to imitate its success from the glory days. With their web series failing to leave a mark, all eyes will be on their next release, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The studio will be hoping for a more than positive reaction as James Gunn's Superman is also hitting the theatres this week, and a failure at this point could lead to Marvel being dethroned. Avengers: Doomsday will release in 2026, while The Fantastic Four: First Steps will come out on July 25. Directed by Matt Shakman, First Steps boasts a promising cast including Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss, and Joseph Quinn.

Gavin and Stacey star Mathew Horne in Glasgow stage comedy
Mathew Horne will appear in The Battle, a darkly comic play centred on the infamous 1995 Britpop chart rivalry between Blur and Oasis. The play will run at the Theatre Royal from May 26 to 30, 2026. Mathew, best known for his role as Gavin in the BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey, will play Andy Ross, the music executive who found himself in the crossfire when two of the country's biggest bands released singles on the same day. Mathew Horne will play Andy Ross (Image: Supplied) The play promises a "wickedly funny dive" into the themes of fame, ego, and cultural clashes of 1990s Britain, taking audiences behind the scenes of a rivalry that defined a generation and reshaped British music. Mathew said: "This play is right in the sweet spot of my teenage cultural experience. It is directed by Matthew Dunster, known for his work on 2:22 A Ghost Story and The Pillowman.
