Take-Two's GTA 6 Led Rally Pauses at the Pre-Download Button

Take-Two Interactive (NASDAQ:TTWO) saw its shares slip about 0.5% on Thursdayyet again proving that even juggernaut franchises need more than a hint of news to truly move markets. The catalyst? Rockstar Games quietly tossed up a Grand Theft Auto 6 page in Microsoft's (MSFT) Xbox Store. Xbox Series X|S owners can now wishlist the game and even grab a tiny 328 MB pre-download, which promptly shows the cover art before closinghardly the full 150 GB package anyone expected. Warning! GuruFocus has detected 9 Warning Signs with TTWO. It's easy to get hyped, but investors are keeping their cool. With the official release set for May 26, 2026, key details like the real file size, pricing tiers and PC specs remain under wraps. Until those arrive, the stock is unlikely to spark a major rally off this tease alone. Even so, Take-Two's still up roughly 31% year-to-date and has climbed nearly 54% over the past 12 months, riding high on Grand Theft Auto 5's astounding 215 million sales. This minor pullback highlights one thing: excitement for blockbuster titles needs real infotrailers that reveal gameplay, preorder slots and technical breakdownsbefore players and investors alike hit buy. Keep an eye out for Rockstar's next leaks. When file sizes, price tags or system requirements finally drop, TTWO's share price could get its next big boost. This article first appeared on GuruFocus.

GTA 6 wishlist grows in Turkey as fans ask Rockstar for Turkish localization

Source: Rockstar Games With all the hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 gathering steams across the globe, Turkish gamers are making one thing very clear and loud: Turkish language support, in the form of subtitles. Going by the hashtag #WeWantGTA6inTurkish , the fans are conducting a mass campaign to get Rockstar Games to localize the game for the Turkish-speaking community. With social media, memes, and direct pleas, the fans are praying they will be heard before the game is released. Turkish gamers spearhead a collective call for subtitles in GTA 6 Turkish players are merely requesting subtitles, not voice dubbing, as a means to comprehend and appreciate the game's story and humor. The movement, which was seen throughout platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube, has picked up steam with backing coming from influencers and gaming content creators in the country. One recent tweet captured the mood: "As Turkish gamers, we have added GTA 6 to our wishlist and are waiting with great excitement. Our only request is to play this game in our own language. Please consider and consider the idea of Turkish localization. We, the gamers, care about you, we are excited. We want to fully understand the story in the GTA 6 experience, we want to have fun. We want Turkish subtitles, please consider." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? IC Markets Mendaftar Undo It has been repeated extensively and even targeted towards Rockstar's official handles, and it cannot be ignored. The campaign is built upon years of frustration, as past Rockstar games, GTA V, GTA IV, and Red Dead Redemption 2 did not support Turkish languages, making a large majority of the fanbase unable to truly enjoy the story. No word from Rockstar yet, but fingers crossed To date, Rockstar Games has not made any public announcement on Turkish localization for GTA 6. The developer tends to self-localize and is hiring experts for the game, but it is not known what languages are being prioritized. Others have theorized that Turkey's absence from earlier games may be due to revenue or piracy issues, but these have not yet been confirmed. The Turkish community, however, feels there is a potential untapped, not only in Turkey but among the Turkish-speaking communities found in Azerbaijan as well. With GTA 6 coming soon, Turkish fans are making their voices heard and clear. With an organized campaign and increasing popularity, they are hoping Rockstar would take notice of their passion and add Turkish subtitles. Whether or not Rockstar does anything about it, the movement has already proven that grassroots efforts can make a difference in deciding the gaming future. Lil Wayne's Son Claims Rapper Ghostwrote 'Most' Of Drake's Music: 'On God'

Lil Novi, son of Lil Wayne, is claiming that his father ghostwrote the majority of Drake's music. The young artist, 15, made the claim after being asked to choose between his pops and Drizzy as artists during a livestream session. While choosing his father was expected, his reasoning took many aback. 'My dad wrote most of his sh*t. On God. If it wasn't for my pops then it wouldn't be no Drake, for real, for real. I mean, it probably would be a Drake, but he wouldn't be where he at now.' He followed up with, 'No disrespect to Drake. He hard now, but I'm saying… Come on, man. That's not a question.' See the quick clip below. The statement spawned reactions from both Drake fans and critics, with critics highlighting past accusations of the Toronto MC using a ghostwriter. Most, however, dismissed the claim, conceding that as label mates they've likely written together, while doubting Wayne's pen is behind over a decade of Drake hits. 'Super cap, most of Drakes music has substance. Lil Wayne just be rapping bars. Lil Wayne was also exposed for having a ghost writer after falling out, and his music drastically changed,' wrote one supporter via X, with another adding, 'Let's just make this make sense how does his dad write most of Drake sh*t when he doesn't write his own sh*t the majority of Lil Wayne songs are off the top of the dome. He doesn't even know how his dad makes his music.' Lil Wayne signed Drake to his Young Money Entertainment record label in 2009. Born Neal Carter, Lil Novi — whom Wayne shares with singer Nivea — previously stirred the Hip-Hop pot when he declared Playboi Carti to be the greatest rapper of all time — aside from his father, of course. 'Obviously, my dad,' Lil Novi said when asked who is the GOAT. 'But for me, I'd say like because Carti is like the Wayne now. So yeah, Carti.' GTA 6's original plot was reportedly so dark it got rejected thrice, pushing Dan Houser to exit Rockstar

Almost 13 years after the release of Grand Theft Auto V , fans are excited for the long-awaited launch of GTA 6, now set for May 26 next year, but behind the scenes of Rockstar Games ' most anticipated release is a lesser-known chapter, one involving scrapped storylines, creative conflict, and possibly even the departure of the franchise's co-creator, Dan Houser, as per a report. Original GTA 6 Storylines Were Much Darker Video game company Rockstar Games, the publisher of GTA, reportedly had very different plans for Grand Theft Auto 6's story, as per a GameRant report. GameRant cited a Medium post written by Fravilys, who made a claim that Houser once had different plans for the GTA 6 story that were ultimately scrapped in favour of the version that will be in the finished product, which is launching next year. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Dermatologist: Throw This Bedroom Item Away (Here's Why) Blissy Learn More Undo ALSO READ: Khamenei successor: Who are the three candidates that could become the next supreme leader of Iran? Key details Three Versions, All Cancelled by Take-Two According to the report, the previous version of the GTA 6 story featured three playable protagonists that included an old Vice City police officer, police officer's son, and someone who was the "right-hand man" to a Colombian drug lord. Live Events Fravilys wrote that, "This original version was in development until the end of 2016 before being canceled by Take-Two Interactive . The parent company of the star-studded firm deemed it too dark, not meeting their expectations." The second version of the game offered a less dark scenario, with two playable protagonists, a policewoman, who is the daughter of a Vice City cop looking to avenge her mother's death, and a drug smuggler, as per GameRant. However, Fravilys said that even this new version, which was in development for about 18 months, was cancelled in mid-2018 by Take-Two. Then in the third version of the game, the protagonist was changed, the policewoman was replaced with an African-American man, who was a former soldier, according to Fravilys. But this version was in development for only a few months as it was cancelled by Take-Two in March 2019, as per the report. However, Fravilys's accusations are not verified, and GameRant says, "Fans should take these claims about previous versions of the GTA 6 story with a grain of salt." What We Know About the Final GTA 6 Story While, GameRant's report has confirmed that GTA 6 will follow the story of Lucia and Jason as they get entrenched in Vice City's criminal underworld. GameRant wrote, "Lucia is freshly out of prison at the start of the game, while Jason is involved with drug runners and all kinds of other dangerous people. There has been some speculation that Jason may secretly be working for the police, but that remains to be seen." FAQs Why were the early GTA 6 stories scrapped? According to the report, they were considered too dark or not commercially viable by Rockstar's parent company. How many versions of GTA 6 were rejected? Three major story versions were reportedly scrapped between 2016 and 2019.
