Lauren Sánchez Bezos turns heads in sheer outfit during Saint-Tropez date night

Lauren Sánchez Bezos turned heads during a night out with husband Jeff Bezos. The newlyweds were photographed walking hand in hand while leaving a restaurant in Saint-Tropez. The former entertainment news reporter wore a sheer leopard-print dress, which she paired with a little black purse and black heels. She kept her makeup look to a minimum and wore her hair in a messy updo. The Amazon CEO walked next to her in gray pants and a collared blue shirt, which he paired with blue shoes and a pair of sunglasses. The couple were also photographed hopping on a boat as they were leaving Le Club 55 in Saint-Tropez. She wore a sheer black dress with a flowing skirt, which she accessorized with a gold belt around her waist, big gold hoop earrings, a chunky gold bracelet, sunglasses and a large black sunhat. The couple have been in their honeymoon phase since tying the knot June 27 in Venice, Italy. The ceremony was part of a three-day extravaganza. Many of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian and others made their way to Italy for the couple's nuptials. Also in attendance was Gayle King, who recently joined Lauren in the all-female flight to space. During the ceremony, Lauren walked down the aisle in a Dolce & Gabbana mermaid dress with sheer long sleeves and a high neckline. She appeared on the cover of Vogue's June issue in the dress, telling the outlet it made her feel "like a princess" and that it was inspired by the dress Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 movie "Houseboat." "It went from 'I want a simple, sexy modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment' and where I am right now. I am a different person than I was five years ago," she told the outlet. She acknowledged her choice was more conservative compared the revealing looks she has worn in the past, conceding it was a "departure" from what others expected and even from what she expected, but she explained "it's very much me." Designer Stefano Gabbana told Vogue Lauren wanted "a very classic and elegant wedding" and "didn't want to do something very flashing or bling bling." Jeff and Lauren went public with their relationship in 2019 once she separated from her husband, Patrick Whitesell, and Bezos finalized his divorce from MacKenzie Scott. He proposed to her in May 2023 while aboard his $500 million yacht, Koru. "More than the dress, I'm happy that I'm getting married, and I get to spend my life with my best friend, someone who sees me, someone who adores me, someone who I adore. I am the luckiest woman on the planet," she said.

'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker gets tongue-tied in awkward response to Lauren Sánchez Vogue cover question

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker tripped over her words while trying to avoid answering a question about Lauren Sánchez gracing the cover of Vogue in tandem with her highly publicized wedding to Jeff Bezos. During a game titled 'Hello, Lover, or Leave It?' on Sunday's episode of 'Watch What Happens Live,' host Andy Cohen asked his guest — and longtime pal — how she felt about Sánchez's cover story with the prestigious fashion magazine. Parker, 60, raised her eyebrows and let out a high-pitched 'um' before shrugging her shoulders and lifting her hands up in the air. 'I … I … I … I mean …' the 'Sex and the City' star stuttered with an uncomfortable grin on her face. Eventually, Parker — who has been on the cover of Vogue multiple times over the years, most recently in 2021 — said, 'Why shouldn't she? I was fortunate enough. Why shouldn't she as well have that opportunity?' As for Sánchez, she got her time to shine last month. Mere moments after the former news anchor, 55, said 'I do' to the billionaire Amazon founder in Venice, Italy, in front of a gaggle of famous faces, published an article titled, 'Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos Are Married! See Inside Her Final Wedding Dress Fitting.' For both her cover shoot and the star-studded nuptials, which cost around $50 million, Sánchez wore a lace long-sleeved Dolce & Gabbana gown. The dress featured a corseted waist, turtleneck and buttons from the neck to the floor, culminating in a mermaid-style skirt. The mother of three wore her dark brown hair pulled back into a loose bun, leaving some pieces out in front underneath her lace-trimmed veil. She accessorized with Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo earrings featuring four diamonds cut from a single stone and inlaid in white gold as her 'something borrowed.' Sánchez — known for showing off her fit physique in revealing outfits — drew her inspiration from the high-necked lace wedding dress Sophia Loren's character wore to marry Cary Grant's character in the 1958 rom-com 'Houseboat.' 'It went from 'I want a simple, sexy modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment and where I am right now,'' she told Vogue, acknowledging that the look is 'a departure from what people expect.' But according to Sánchez, she is 'a different person than [she] was five years ago.' As Page Six previously reported, Anna Wintour — who recently stepped down as Vogue's editor-in-chief — helped Sánchez come to a final decision on her gown. After weeks of keeping things hushed, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos got married to Lauren Sanchez in a star-studded, high-profile wedding in Venice, Italy. Sanchez took to her Instagram to share pictures of her wedding gown. Drawing inspiration from Sophia Loren's Houseboat, the bride's gown beautifully blended classic sophistication with heartfelt charm and a touch of vintage allure. Taking to her Instagram, Lauren Sanchez shared a picture of herself with her husband Jeff Bezos. She wrote, '06/27/2025." The photo showed Lauren glowing in her white bridal gown, while Jeff complemented her in a sharp black suit. In what is being hailed as one of the most talked-about weddings in recent memory, all eyes were on the bride, who did not disappoint. Her wedding gown was crafted by the iconic designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lauren Sánchez Bezos (@laurensanchezbezos) Lauren's gown featured a graceful high neckline, a sculpted corset, and an elegant row of buttons that flowed down the length of the dress. A total of 180 meticulously hand-sewn, silk chiffon-covered buttons traced the length of the form-fitted silhouette, starting at the neckline and flowing gracefully down the bodice. A Harper's Bazaar report mentioned that it took over 900 hours to create this exquisite wedding gown. It radiated quiet elegance, striking not for its extravagance, but for its refined details. Many noted its nostalgic nod to Sophia Loren's iconic look in the 1958 film Houseboat. In an interview with Vogue, Lauren said, 'I wanted to reflect back, and I saw Sophia Loren and her hands were like this (imitates a prayer position) and she was in high lace, up to the neck, and I said, 'That's it. That's the dress'." Adding to the timeless vibe, she wore a lace-trimmed tulle veil that echoed the glamour of bygone eras, perfectly complementing her sleek, modern aesthetic. Keeping the rest of her look understated and classic, she opted for a softly gathered bun with a few tendrils gently framing her face beneath the veil. Her jewellery was equally refined – a breathtaking pair of earrings from Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Gioielleria line, crafted from four diamonds carved from a single stone and set in luminous white gold. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. The mystery of uninvited guest and Lauren Sánchez's missing dress after extravagant Venice wedding with Jeff Bezos'

AP Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Following their lavish three-day wedding in Venice, Lauren Sánchez—now Mrs. Jeff Bezos—finds herself at the center of an unexpected mystery. One of her 27 designer dresses has reportedly vanished, casting a curious shadow over what was already one of the most high-profile weddings of the year. The couple tied the knot on Friday, June 27, in a private chapel on San Giorgio Island, surrounded by elite guests and layers of security. Sánchez stunned in a series of couture looks from fashion powerhouses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, and Schiaparelli. The missing dress was noticed after the celebrations, just as the newlyweds departed for their Sicilian honeymoon. Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera first broke the story, suggesting that an uninvited guest—described as "elegantly dressed"—may have infiltrated the tightly controlled event and made off with the gown. Security was reportedly stretched so thin during the festivities that Italy's anti-terrorism unit, Digos, was called in to support. Sources close to the couple told the paper that a dress is indeed missing but downplayed any suggestion of theft. No police report has been filed, and the couple's camp insists the incident may simply be a case of misplacement. The dress was last known to be stored at the luxurious Aman Hotel, where the couple stayed during the celebrations. Sánchez's wedding wardrobe was as theatrical as it was exquisite. Her main bridal look—crafted by Dolce & Gabbana—was a high-neck mermaid gown inspired by Sophia Loren's costume in Houseboat (1958), complete with Italian lace, 180 silk chiffon-covered buttons, and a delicate veil. 'It went from 'I want a sexy, modern dress' to 'I want something that evokes a moment,'' she told Vogue . 'It's a departure from what people expect, but it's very much me.' Her fashion parade continued with a golden Schiaparelli gown embroidered with green flowers for the rehearsal dinner, followed by a glamorous, Rita Hayworth-inspired number from Dolce & Gabbana for the wedding dinner. The finale? A dazzling Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress encrusted with 175,000 hand-sewn crystals and 600 yards of chain. While representatives have tried to minimize the incident, rumors of additional dress mishaps—including damage to a vintage Dolce & Gabbana piece—have been firmly denied. The celebration, estimated to have cost between €40 million and €48 million, featured an array of themed events, from pajama parties to opulent evening affairs. As the couple continues their honeymoon in Taormina, whispers about the missing dress continue to circulate in fashion and society circles alike. One thing is certain: even amid towering florals, couture spectacle, and billionaire sparkle, it's a missing gown that now adds a touch of intrigue to this already unforgettable affair.
