Huawei Malaysia, MCL to provide Huawei eKit solutions for SMEs
KUALA LUMPUR: Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has teamed up with MCL Bhd to bring Huawei's eKit solutions to local small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The collaboration aims to address the digitalisation needs of SMEs across various sectors such as offices, hospitality, commercial real estate and retail. MCL will leverage its strong distribution network and in-depth market knowledge to enhance the availability of Huawei eKit solutions. The company will also provide support to local distributors and partners, including hands-on training and a simplified procurement process, to ensure they are well-equipped to cater to SME clients. Huawei eKit, a dedicated brand within the company's distribution business, is built with a modular and scenario-based design that enables partners to customise solutions according to the unique operational needs of SMEs. The brand offers five product series covering various scenarios, including smart devices like the Huawei IdeaHub, integrated wired and wireless connectivity solutions, and IT platforms for data storage. "The partnership with MCL forms a key part of Huawei Malaysia's broader strategy to foster strong collaborations that empower the SME community. Mrs. Ding Juan, Director of Distribution Partner Strategy & Operations at Huawei, reported that distribution remains a key pillar in the company's enterprise business growth. She noted that Huawei continues to invest in R&D, marketing, supply, and services to build a strong partner system. Huawei eKit introduced a new range of advanced products, including: Wi-Fi 7 access points (APs) Full Layer 3 switches, ONUs, SSDs IdeaHub Board 3 Pro These solutions are built to enhance SME operations and improve business efficiency. Additionally, Huawei announced the new Installer Partner identity within the Huawei eKit partner ecosystem. This initiative provides exclusive incentives to installers, promoting collaboration and business growth. Huawei also revealed plans to launch training courses for partners. These sessions aim to help them fully utilize the eKit portfolio. Another key announcement was the launch of the Huawei eKit App. The app offers real-time marketing updates, simplifies event participation, and streamlines device registration and deployment. Partners were encouraged to try the app and provide feedback. Huawei also reported that SecureNet FZC, a Huawei Gold Distributor, plays a crucial role in delivering Huawei's product range to a broad channel network. From SMB to enterprise, Huawei provides a complete portfolio of solutions to meet market demands. Ms. Aparajita Guha, Business Unit Head–Telecom & Networking at SecureNet FZC, said Huawei supports SecureNet with partner-centric policies, strong digital platforms, and steady supply. She highlighted the Huawei Partner Portal and mobile app as key tools for managing training, opportunities, and support cases. Finally, Huawei introduced a new supply chain strategy to enhance shipping efficiency. Looking forward, Huawei eKit aims to expand with its partners.
