McDonald's dropping all-new sizzling sandwiches...but you better act fast
Sizzling sandwiches will soon be a spicy breakfast offering at McDonald's to celebrate 50 years of Egg McMuffins. The fast food empire is reintroducing spicy sandwiches on its breakfast menu for the first time since 2020. The sandwiches, named the Spicy Sausage McMuffin and the Spicy Sausage McMuffin with Egg, will be making their debut at participating locations nationwide on Tuesday, July 8. Ingredients include egg, melty cheese, bacon, and a shot of McDonald's signature Spicy Pepper Sauce. Prices for each sandwich will vary depending on location, and they will only be available for a limited time. The newest sandwiches are dropping at McDonald's following the return of Blueberry & Crème Pies and the debut of the Hershey's S'mores McFlurry. The Daily Double is also moving up to the big leagues after successful sales in Illinois, Florida, and Washington state, and will be featured in a new meal on the McValue Platform at all restaurants by the end of the year. Besides menu twists, McDonald's has won praise recently from fans who were excited to learn about the chain's decision to extend its operating hours at select locations.
