New Look's 'beautiful' £19 top looks 'just like' £80 luxury version
The retailer is selling a style similar to one offered by a luxury brand but it is a fraction of the price New Look is stocking a "beautiful" top that resembles a luxury style. The high street retailer is known for its affordable clothing and might have a new crowd pleaser on its hands. For shoppers looking for an asymmetrical style, New Look offers its Off Shoulder Scuba Top for £18.99. Four colors are available: black, off-white, light green, and light yellow. The top resembles a trending style that shoppers can expect to see lots of this summer, with everyone from Next to River Island stocking off-the-shoulder tops this season. What's more, New Look's top arguably looks similar to Reformation's Cello asymmetric ruched jersey top, which is £80 from Selfridges. Both tops offer an off-the-shoulder style with gathered detailing. However, they vary in length, as the New Look style has an asymmetrical hem. There are also differences in fabric. Reformation opted for 88% lyocell, 12% Spandex, while New Look opted for 96% Polyester and 4% Elastane. The product description for New Look's top states: "This off shoulder scuba top makes a great choice for dressing up or down. In black, it features an asymmetric design and a gathered side." Elsewhere, Selfridges says the Reformation top is "fitted, asymmetric neckline, ruching at front" with "midweight, slight stretch." Despite this, New Look's style could be just the ticket for fans of the style keen for a more affordable top. For shoppers looking for an alternative, options include Next's Drape Asymmetric One Shoulder Top, on sale for £11.50 from £28, or River Island's £39 Drape Scuba Top. The product description for the Drape Asymmetric One Shoulder Top states: "This stylish top has an asymmetric one-shoulder design with drape detailing, crafted from a soft and breathable jersey fabric, finished with a trimmed sleeve hem." Other off-the-shoulder styles include Mint Velvet's Sleeveless Knit Top, on sale for £39 from £79, and Nobody's Child's Off Shoulder Ruched Top, on sale for £23 from £45. The product description for the Shoulder Ruched Top, states: "Day-to-night dressing done right. Coming in chocolate brown, this bardot top is fitted in all the right places. Just add your favourite jeans." Nonetheless, shoppers might prefer New Look's Off Shoulder Scuba Top. The style has received high praise from an impressed reviewer, but not all feedback has been positive. Reviewing the style on New Look's website, one happy shopper wrote: "Beautiful yellow top very nice on." Less impressed, a reviewer wrote: "Not a great cut, looks funny." Someone else with mixed feedback shared: "The quality was good but it just didn't flatter my body type. it felt uncomfortable across my stomach but that's just me." To date, there are no more reviews. However, shoppers keen to read reviews before purchasing could check what's being said by New Look customers on Trustpilot for more customer feedback about sizing, quality, and delivery.

FASHION fans have been racing to pick up a flattering high-street dress that's been slashed by 41%. The printed midi dress has been reduced in New Look's big summer sale, taking it down from £36.99 to £22. The trending New Look Red V-Neck Dress features a stunning gingham print that's perfect for summer, with lightly puffed sleeves that will hide chunky arms. It has a relaxed silhouette that skims the figure, while the open-back is finished with a statement bow. Perfect for dressing up or down, the high-street midi could be teamed with sandals and a crossbody bag for a stylish daytime ensemble. Fashion fans could also opt for strappy sandals and gold jewellery for an elevated evening look. New Look styled the gingham dress with the retailer's straw handbag, which is a dupe of the iconic Chloé tote. The high-street arm candy caused mass sell-outs online after its release, as the £27.99 bag is £560 cheaper than its lookalike. The designer dupe is currently sold out online, so it may not be restocked for this year. New Look's gingham dress only has one review so far, but it was given a five-star score. The shopper wrote: "Perfect summer dress, beautiful, true to size, and very flattering." The retail giant has been dropping prices across its women's, men's and kidswear, with discounts of up to 60% in its summer sale. Another dress that has been causing shoppers to rush to the checkout is the Floral Print Ruffle Mini Dress. The blue mini dress also features a gingham print, finished with a summery flower print. The tie-back and ruffled hem add extra feminine touches, and the bargain find is down from £30 to £18. New Look has been on top-form lately when it comes to summer fashion, with everything from occasionwear to holiday pieces. A tummy control swimsuit also caused a stir online, as reviewers were gushing over how it expensive it looks. Shoppers rushed to buy the tummy flattering swimwea r in both the black and red colourways, but select sizes are still available to shop. Marks & Spencer has also dropped some incredible summer styles lately, including a linen dress that hides lumps and bumps. The £45 dress, which has been described as 'perfect' has a shift silhouette that's flattering on all body shapes, with a button-down design and a subtle scallop trim. It's unclear how long the New Look sale will be running for, so if you love the trending Gingham Dress, it could be worth adding it to your basket soon before the 41% off fashion deal expires.

The 36-year-old singer shared her latest 'Payday Faves' on Instagram over the weekend and her followers went made for a sage green suit from PrettyLittleThing Style icon Frankie Bridge has served up some seriously swoon-worthy looks in her recent 'Faves Edit'. And one of the outfits was a co-ord set from PrettyLittleThing that had fans 'obsessed', with some saying it's one of her 'best looks yet'. The former The Saturdays singer each week shares a series of outfits on Instagram and in her Faves Edit newsletter to give style inspiration to her followers. This week, her video featured looks for shoppers to treat themselves to come payday - the PrettyLittleThing set included. Consisting of a Woven Collarless Oversized Shoulder Pad Waistcoat, £34, and Woven Extreme Wide Leg Pleated Mid Rise Wide Leg Trousers, £28, the pair comes in three different colours: sage khaki (green - Frankie's choice), butter yellow and a light neutral Clay tone. Her inclusion of this suit comes after the brand's popular chocolate brown hue supposedly 'sold out'. Frankie mused: " This suit has sold out every time in brown, so they've brought out a new colour." While she said that on the website it looks more of a beige hue, she confirmed in her video showcasing the duo that is was 'definitely green'. Fans and followers of Frankie Bridge on Instagram flooded her comments section to praise the ensemble - which was made up of some statement earrings, a burgundy bag and burgundy sandal heels. "OMG some of the best looks yet," said one keen fashion fan, while another raved: "Ohhh that sage green co-ord is a piece of me." "Needs the links for them all and your fav green co ord same," added another. Although for some people, these looks proved to be a little too 'big' on the singer, with one Instagram comment reading: "Everything looks so big", regarding the oversized fit. They added: "I prefer the more fitted, tailored outfits."
