Caretaker nabbed with high-powered guns in Tuguegarao
Authorities arrested a 38-year-old caretaker during a buy-bust operation on Apple Street in Barangay Pengue-Ruyu, Tuguegarao City.
The suspect, identified only as alias "Polong," was caught selling illegal firearms to a police officer posing as a buyer. Seized from him were several high-powered guns, bullets, and other related items.
Police also recovered a marked P1,000 bill and P54,000 in boodle money used in the operation.
The suspect is now facing charges for violating Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
