Samsung's Galaxy Watch gets £99 rival that's way better than its price suggests

Watch out Apple and Samsung, there's a new wearable arriving in the UK and it only costs £99. This latest budget smartwatch is being launched by the UK team at Nothing. This fledgling technology firm already makes some top-notch smartphones, and now they are adding to their portfolio via a sub-brand called CMF. ‌ Some CMF devices launched last year and now there's another gadget coming to the range with the CMF Watch 3 Pro now on sale. ‌ It costs just £99, which is far cheaper than all of its biggest rivals, but that low cost doesn't mean bargain basement features. ‌ For under £100, you get a wearable with a vibrant 1.43-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin bezels, over 120 custom watch faces and battery life that can last a whopping 13 days. Its design is fully waterproof, there's fast charging and even smart ChatGPT integration. ‌ Of course, like all watches, Nothing boasts that its new CMF Watch 3 Pro can keep an eye on your health and daily fitness levels. This device offers heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen and even how stressed out you are. When it's time for some exercise, it will track those workouts and even offer advice on all-important cool downs and recovery. As we mentioned before, the Watch 3 Pro will be priced at £99 and is available in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange 'We designed Watch 3 Pro to be the perfect starting point for anyone beginning their health and fitness journey,' said Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing. 'Whether you're getting into running, building better habits, or just want something that looks great on your wrist, Watch 3 Pro delivers a smart, stylish experience that makes it easy to stay on track without overcomplicating things.' If Samsung's wearables still sound more appealing, then some new Galaxy Watches are going on sale this week, which get new designs, a faster processor and even a sensor that measures antioxidants in the body. The new Watch8 starts from £319, with the Watch 8 Classic costing £443.

Nothing's $99 CMF Watch 3 Pro offers better battery life and AI fitness coaching

CMF, the budget-friendly sub-brand from Nothing , has announced its latest smartwatch . Billed by its maker as the ideal entry-level fitness watch, the $99 Watch 3 Pro is the most advanced CMF wearable to date, promising updated health tracking and various built-in AI coaching features. The Watch 3 Pro introduces dual-band GPS, which should make its route tracking more accurate, as well as a new four-channel heart rate sensor that Nothing says offers "improved accuracy across all skin tones and workout intensities." You can choose from 131 sports modes, which is 11 more than its predecessor, with a personalized AI coach providing post-workout summaries and guidance. This includes long-distance running endurance predictions to help you train for that looming 10K. In addition to the updated heart rate and sleep tracking, the Watch 3 Pro is also capable of blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring, stress tracking, guided breathing exercises, hydration and inactivity reminders, as well as women's health tracking. On-wrist ChatGPT integration allows you to ask questions and set reminders using "natural language" voice prompts, and there's a voice recorder with autotranscription for when you want to quickly log a mid-run thought. You can also use AI to generate custom watch faces using the Watch Face Studio, in which you'll find more than 120 styles premade out of the box. Widgets can be applied for fitness, weather, music or reminders, with a full-screen option available. CMF's latest wearable has a 1.43-inch AMOLED, always-on display, and you're getting a 10 percent increase in screen-to-body ratio compared to the Watch Pro 2 before it. Battery life is 13 days with "typical" use, which Nothing says is a two-day improvement over its predecessor. If you're hitting the tracking hard you can expect around 11 days of juice on a full charge. With the always-on display enabled, battery life unsurprisingly takes a significant hit to around 4.5 days. Nothing says the Watch 3 Pro and all other smartwatches in the CMF lineup now use the Nothing X app, with the new control centre promising improved stability and a more intuitive UI. It also plays nice with Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect You're getting a fair bit of bang for your buck, then, but we'll have to wait and see how the Watch 3 Pro fares against pricier alternatives where everyday performance is concerned. When TechRadar reviewed the Watch 2 Pro earlier this year, it had lots of positive impressions of the watch, but noted some spotty fitness tracking and sensor detection. 9to5Google was even more critical, finding fault with the heart rate tracking and concluding that the product felt unfinished. And while the Watch 3 Pro covers a lot of the bases for fitness watches with its various sensors, it still lacks NFC for payments, which could be a deal-breaker for some people. Available in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Orange colorways, the CMF Watch 3 Pro costs $99 (a not insignificant $30 bump on the Watch Pro 2) is available to buy now. CMF's New Pro Smartwatch Gets Beefier, Healthier, and Less Customizable

The world of cheap Android smartwatches is pretty crowded, but there's still room for one more if Nothing's subbrand CMF has anything to say about it. CMF unveiled the Watch 3 Pro today, which gets a little bit of a size increase and some additional health-tracking features compared to its predecessor. Specifically, the Watch 3 Pro adds a more advanced heart rate sensor into the mix. According to CMF, an optical sensor will be able to glean 'finer variations in blood flow,' which should equate to more accurate heart rate tracking. CMF says that, thanks to the new sensor, the readings are up to 7% more accurate while exercising and up to 3.6% more accurate while resting compared to previous generations. Health features this go-around include blood oxygen tracking, stress tracking, reminders to drink that important thing called water, and even guided breathing sessions to help you chill out for once. Train. Learn. Go again. Watch 3 Pro is here to help you move smart. — CMF by Nothing (@cmfbynothing) July 22, 2025 In addition to a better heart rate sensor, CMF's Watch 3 Pro will also get a bigger screen—a 10% size increase over the previous generation. Specifically, the Watch 3 Pro has a 1.43-inch display over the previous generation's 1.32-inch display. That's great for anyone who doesn't fancy squinting at notifications on their watch all day. An AMOLED display should also help make the watch's display contrast-y and clear. CMF says the Watch 3 Pro's display will top out at 670 nits of peak brightness. That's not anywhere near the level of an Apple Watch, but you should expect certain compromises when buying a cheaper Android alternative. One thing that the Watch 3 Pro won't have, however, is a customizable bezel. The Watch Pro 2 has bezels that can be changed in and out at will, depending on how you want your smartwatch to look. Not the biggest deal, but also kind of a bummer to see that same freedom hasn't been extended to its newest model. Battery life-wise, CMF says its Watch 3 Pro performs a little better than previous iterations. According to the company, the Watch 3 Pro will get a max of 13 days of battery life compared to the previous generation's 11 days, though that will obviously depend on usage and whether you have the heads-up display activated. Heads-up displays have a pesky habit of killing battery life, since screens are the number one way devices typically eat up juice. The good news is that the CMF Watch 3 Pro hits an affordable note. While the retail price is listed as $99, the smartwatch is currently marked down to $79. Whether a watch like this is your style is a personal choice, but it's nice to know you can get in the smartwatch game for not a ton of money nowadays.

CMF Watch 3 Pro launched with 13 days of battery life and ChatGPT support

CMF by Nothing has just launched their new smartwatch — the CMF Watch 3 Pro. At first glance, it seems like a very strong budget contender. While there are plenty of affordable smartwatches that skip serious fitness tracking to cut costs, this one tries to do both without skimping on features or design. Priced at just $99 in the USA, 99 Pounds in the UK and 99 Euros in Europe, the new smartwatch brings a few features usually reserved for pricier watches, like dual-band GPS, AI-driven workout summaries, and even built-in ChatGPT CMF Watch 3 Pro comes with a larger 1.43-inch AMOLED display, offering Always On support and thinner bezels compared to its predecessor. It still has a metal body, IP68 dust and water resistance, and is available in Dark Grey, Light Grey and a bold Orange. You also get over 120 watchfaces to choose from, including animated options, with enough personalisation options for most terms of fitness and health features, CMF has added a new four-channel heart rate sensor that claims better accuracy for users across all skin tones and workout intensities. The big addition this year is dual-band, five-system GPS, which should make outdoor runs and cycling routes more accurate. You also get over 130 sports modes, blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, breathing guidance, and women's health features. One of the standout additions is the AI-powered post-workout summary. It gives insights into your training load, recovery time, and even estimates your performance in 5K or 10K runs. It also auto-detects seven core activities, saving users from manually starting a workout each for smart features, CMF has added some surprising tools here. You can talk to ChatGPT from your wrist (as long as your phone is nearby), record voice notes with automatic transcriptions, and receive daily news summaries through its Essential News tool. Bluetooth calling is supported too, now with an extra microphone for clearer life is also claimed to be another strong point. CMF says the Watch 3 Pro can last up to 13 days on a full charge, and around 4.5 days with everything turned on. A full top-up from 0 to 100 per cent takes about 99 said, this is a global launch, but there's no official word yet on when the CMF Watch 3 Pro will arrive in India. That said, it's likely not too far off. Last year, the CMF Watch Pro 2 launched in India, starting at Rs 4,999, so the big question is — how much do you think CMF will price the Watch 3 Pro at this time?- Ends

Nothing's new CMF smartwatch drops swappable bezels for a bigger display

Nothing has launched a new smartwatch under its affordable CMF subbrand that improves upon the heart rate sensor, battery life, and GPS tracking capabilities of its predecessor, but gives up on some of its customizability. The Watch 3 Pro is available globally starting today for $99 (currently reduced to $79). The 1.43-inch OLED display provides a ten percent increase in screen-to-body ratio compared to the Watch Pro 2's 1.32-inch display. It comes in three color options — dark gray, light gray, and orange — but notably drops the Watch Pro 2's swappable bezel that allowed users to customize the appearance of their watch. The 3 Pro features 131 sports modes, a new four-channel heart rate sensor for better accuracy, and AI-powered coaching and post-workout summaries that offer personalized running plans and fitness insights. Nothing describes the Watch 3 Pro's new dual-band GPS as 'a major leap forward' from the Watch Pro 2, providing better signal stability and precision for 'faster and more accurate route tracking in any environment.' The new smartwatch fully charges in around 99 minutes and delivers up to 13 days of battery life 'under typical use,' according to Nothing, a two-day increase compared to the previous model. This is reduced to 11 days with heavier tracking, or around 4.5 days with the always-on display enabled. Users can manage the Watch 3 Pro features via Nothing's X app control center, which has been refreshed with a new UI and supports Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect integrations. Nothing says the older CMF Watch Pro and Watch Pro 2 models will also be transitioning to the Nothing X app. One other gripe, aside from the lack of customizable bezels, is the inconsistent naming between the Watch Pro 2 and the new Watch 3 Pro. This is becoming something of a habit for Nothing's CMF brand, given the differing format also seen in its Buds Pro 2 and Buds 2 Plus earbuds.
