WATCH: Jedward prep for Oasis gigs with homage Noel and Liam 'would hate'

Jedward have equally amused and horrified fans after they dressed up as Noel and Liam Gallagher. The (non-twin) brothers in Noel and Liam are currently in the middle of their reunion tour, the first in 16 years since the band's explosive break-up in 2009. With the iconic band set to head to Croke Park in August, music's second favourite brothers in John and Edward showed their Instagram followers their new dos; and gone are their iconic blond coifs, in their place being short brown haircuts a la Noel and Liam. View this post on Instagram A post shared by JEDWARD (@jepicpics) John and Edward showed off their new haircuts and outfits, which were similar to the ones that the brothers Gallagher wore during the photoshoot announcing their reunion as they sang Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger; cleverly dubbing themselves 'Joasis.' Fans of Jedward and Oasis thought the parody was incredible/bizarre, with fans having the exact same reaction as to what Noel and Liam would think of the homage. 'I just know Liam and Noel would hate this and I need to see the reaction,' one person commented, while another added 'I know [Noel and Liam] would hate this, which is why it's so perfect.' Jedward challenged their inner Liam and Noel Gallagher as they became 'Joasis' ahead of the band's gig in Croke Park. Pic: Jedward/Instagram Cian Twomey also enjoyed the parody, commenting 'Thank you both,' while another summed up the video perfectly: commenting 'Jaysus.' As for Oasis, Noel and Liam wrapped up their five-night residency in their native Manchester on Sunday, when they played to tens of thousands of their locals in Heaton Park. They're beginning their next five night stretch in Wembley on Friday (July 25), before heading to Murrayfield in Edinburgh. Then, it's our turn as the band head to Croke Park on August 16 and 17 for two sold out gigs; with fans snapping up tickets in controversial fashion after Ticketmaster jacked up 'in demand' ticket prices and 'dynamic' pricing due to the stratospheric demand. Oasis reunited earlier this year. Pic: Samir Hussein/WireImage They then play Canada and the US before playing two more nights in Wembley in September, before they head to the far east where they'll play in South Korea and Japan, and then Australia before wrapping up in South America — when they'll play in Argentina and Chile before wrapping up in November in Brazil.

Oasis hilariously joked on mic about viral Coldplay Astronomer video

"Don't worry for those who are cheating we don't have that Coldplay camera here"Oasis at Heaton Park, 20/07/ It has been five days, but the viral moment from a Foxborough Coldplay concert still has legs. Last Wednesday, the Chief Executive Officer and Chief People Officer from Astronomer were caught in an embrace on the big screen at the show. The clip was picked up by the internet, becoming a meme and creating a new in-game kiss cam theme at sporting events. Even Coldplay Chris Martin seemed to make light of the exposed affair at their Madison concert. Now Oasis is getting in on the action. At the band's Heaton Park show on July 20, they made a joke as they chatted to the crowd. "Do we have any lovebirds in the house? Don't worry we don't got any of that Coldplay [expletive] camera [expletive]." WARNING: The clip contains some NSFW language (it is Oasis after all). Oasis started touring again for the first time in 16 years on July 4, opening their reunion tour in Cardiff, Wales. The brotherly duo of Noel and Liam Gallagher was a staple in the 90s, and they shocked everyone when they announced their 2025 tour. The "Wonderwall" singers have completed seven tour stops so far, with five shows at Wembley in London up next.

Have Oasis played Murrayfield before as countdown to Edinburgh gig underway

The famous brothers are taking to the stage in Edinburgh in August. The countdown to the much anticipated Edinburgh Oasis shows is officially underway, with the Gallaghers playing three nights at Murrayfield stadium next month. The brothers' highly anticipated reunion tour will see Oasis reunite on the Edinburgh stage for the first time in 15 years. Up to 210,000 eager fans are to descend on Murrayfield Stadium on August 8, 9 and 12 to hear classics like Wonderwall and Live Forever for the first time since the famous brothers' even more famous fallout. Oasis have already played the first couple of legs of their reunion tour, which kicked off at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on July 4. The band are currently in the middle of their Manchester leg of the tour, where the pair are playing five nights at Heaton Park in their hometown. Following their Manchester gigs, the Gallagher brothers are to play five nights at London's Wembley Stadium before heading north for Edinburgh's performances. But as Oasis are soon to make their iconic return to Scotland, many have been led to wonder whether the Gallaghers have played Murrayfield before. Here's everything you need to know about the brothers' past Scottish gigs. Have Oasis played Murrayfield Stadium before? Oasis played Murrayfield Stadium twice, most recently in 2009, just before their infamous argument. They played in June, mere weeks before their last ever gig for 15 years. The band also previously played Murrayfield in the year 2000. Some other notable Scottish gigs that the pair have played include King Tut's in Glasgow in May of 1993 as well as Plaza and Cathouse in December of the same year, also both in Glasgow. Oasis played a series of gigs in Scotland in 1994, including Gleneagles, La Belle Angel in Edinburgh, Tramway in Glasgow, and the iconic long-gone Scots festival T in the Park. Other iconic Scottish venues and festivals that saw Oasis take stage before their break-up included Glasgow's Barrowlands, Glasgow Green Festival and Edinburgh's Usher Hall, according to their 'gigography'. Can you still buy tickets for the Oasis reunion dates in Edinburgh? General admission for the Edinburgh dates sold out almost instantly, like all of the tour dates for Oasis' reunion. However, several other options still exist to try and bag resale tickets, although you'll have to be quick on the ball. Twickets is a reselling site that offers a platform for fans to sell their tickets at face value or less. If you're lucky, you could catch a ticket this way, but be careful- if you blink you could miss it. Ticketmaster also offers a verified ticket resale service, but again, you'll have to be vigilant to catch one before it sells again. After their many UK dates, including the three Edinburgh shows, the Oasis tour then goes worldwide with dates in Brazil, Australia, South Korea, Japan and the US. 'Oasis' Manchester return had one thing missing - which could return at Wembley'

The Mirror's Mark Jefferies gives his take on Oasis' triumphant reunion in Manchester as the Wonderwall stars head to Wembley Stadium in London this week Midway through the last Oasis concert in Manchester in 2025, there was a lot of love in the air. ( GETTY) Midway through the last Oasis concert in Manchester in 2025, there was a lot of love in the air. Before playing yet another hit, Noel Gallagher said: "For the last ten days the eyes of the world have been on this city of Manchester and I just want to say to all Mancunians you've done yourself f***ing proud." And then towards the end of the show, brother Liam added: 'We love you, we adore you. Thanks for making this happen.' Five nights at Heaton Park, five star reviews from fans and critics across the board. Social media filled with many people saying they had seen the best gig of their life, regardless if it was the blazing sunshine of the first weekend and the rain of the final night. Five nights of Oasis at Heaton Park, amassed five star reviews from fans and critics across the board ( AFP via Getty Images) It was a homecoming week which could barely have gone any better. The council may not feel quite the same as they clear up the rubbish on Gallagher Hill and there were a few disturbances there. But the Gallaghers even embraced the fans watching for free, including them in the show and handing out free T-shirts. Manchester town centre was taken over by drinkers pre and post shows. But having been there both weekends it struck me one thing was missing, and that was namely the aggression or aggravation many had feared. I went to see Oasis at Finsbury Park in the early 2000s where the crowd was wild and trouble or personal injury felt likely. As it was I got away with being covered in mud and urine which was thrown in cups throughout the gig. On other occasions big fights broke out and far from spreading love on stage, the Gallaghers could be feisty on stage. It seems crazy to think back but Noel did wish ill health on fans at a gig in Brighton when we sang the wrong version of Wonderwall back at him. These days Noel is a man of few words on stage and lets the music do the talking. Liam is a loosening up as the tour goes on but the words are all positive unless you are a Manchester United fan refusing to do the Poznan. So far in both Cardiff and Manchester, the atmosphere has been euphoric, a family friendly celebration, without much beer or anything else thrown in anger. Long may it continue. It's a big ask but hopefully Wembley can be another celebration and London fans will do themselves proud like the hundreds of thousands in Manchester.
