Zamalek sign Pharco FC forward Ahmed Sherif

Zamalek have officially secured the signature of forward Ahmed Sherif from Pharco FC on a five‑year contract, the Cairo giants announced on Tuesday. The 22-year-old becomes Zamalek's fourth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of his teammate Amr Nasser on Monday, and goalkeeper El-Mahdi Soliman and Angolan winger Chico Banza on Sunday. Sherif scored 13 goals in 109 games across all competitions for Pharco FC since joining the club from second-tier side Wadi Degla in 2021. The White Knights are revamping their squad as they look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign that saw them finish third in the league and exit the CAF Confederation Cup in the quarter-finals, failing to defend their title. The club began their rebuild last month with the appointment of Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera as their new manager, replacing interim manager Ayman El-Ramady, who had guided the team in the Egypt Cup. The new Egyptian Premier League season is scheduled to kick off in 8 August. Zamalek have signed Pharco FC striker Amr Nasser on a five-year contract, the Egyptian Premier League club announced on Monday.
