John Travolta's nepo baby daughter Ella Bleu wants to carve out her own career in music, film, and fashion

Travolta, 25, is the only daughter of Grease and Pulp Fiction star John Travolta, and her resemblance to her famous father has only grown more striking with age. From her piercing blue eyes to that signature Travolta smile, she is the spitting image of John during his leading man heyday. But Ella isn't just another celebrity nepo child riding on her parents' fame. She's carving out a career of her own in music, film and fashion. Born in April 2000 to John and the late actress Kelly Preston, Ella grew up in the spotlight alongside older brother Jett and younger brother Benjamin. Tragically, Jett passed away in 2009 following a seizure during a family holiday in the Bahamas. Ella started acting when she was just a kid, and she made her big screen debut in 2009's Old Dogs, starring opposite both her parents. She later appeared in The Poison Rose in 2019 and recently wrapped filming Get Lost, a modern-day reimagining of Alice In Wonderland. However, it's music where she seems to have really found her niche. In 2022, she released her debut single Dizzy, followed by tracks No Thank You and Little Bird. The latter song is a moving tribute to her mother, who passed away in 2020 after battling breast cancer. 'Little Bird is about holding onto those pure relationships that you have with people that you lost and really just listening to yourself and staying true to that relationship with that person,' Ella told People. 'It's sort of the viewpoint of a mama bird talking to a baby bird and just not letting any other interference get in between it, because your true instincts were there all along.' She continued: 'It had been a couple years, obviously, since my mom's passing, so I could look at the whole situation and take a step back from it and see what I wanted to communicate on it and what I wanted to communicate to her and what I was feeling in general.' She's also made waves in the fashion world, landing the cover of Hunger Magazine in 2024, wearing a vintage Chanel look previously worn by Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game, per Page Six. Since then, Ella has been spotted in front rows at fashion week in Madrid and Milan, appearing alongside European royalty like Princess Diana's niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, and Princess Alexandra of Hanover, per Hola. Ella remains close with her dad as John often shares sweet birthday tributes and throwback videos with her on social media. In a recent birthday post, he called his daughter 'gracious, generous, funny, beautiful, kind, and deeply talented.' The actor also loves to celebrate Ella's accomplishments and often posts about her magazine covers and song releases.

Brad Pitt, 61, shows off his new look with buzz cut and moustache as he films Once Upon A Time in Hollywood sequel

Brad Pitt showed off a new look as he sported a trimmed moustache while The Adventures of Cliff Booth in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The actor, 61, plays the title role in the film, a sequel to Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The scene was shot at the New Beverly Cinema, a theater in Los Angeles owned by the film's writer Quentin Tarantino. Brad was dressed casually for the evening in a blue open shirt with matching loose fitting trousers and a white vest. Also sporting white trainers, he was seen flashing a light at something off camera during the wscene. Quentin is returning to write the sequel, but he's handing directing duties over to Zodiac and Seven filmmaker David Fincher. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, released in 2019, starred Brad as Cliff, a stuntman for the Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio). Leonardo is not listed as a cast member on the show's IMDb page, which describes the plot as showcasing 'more of Cliff Booth's backstory in his new role as a Hollywood fixer.' Quentin previously fleshed out the character beyond how he's portrayed in the film with a novelization of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood that he wrote. While the upcoming film will focus on Cliff, Brad clarified last month that the project was 'not really a sequel but an episode' featuring the character. 'This is something Quentin Tarantino wrote. It's an episode, not really a sequel, but an episode of the character from Once Upon A Time,' he told Deadline. 'But he didn't want to direct it at this point, and my friend David Fincher, our friend, I say our mutual friend, David Fincher stepped in to direct it,' Pitt explained. 'So we're doing that for Netflix and we're gonna start in July, it should be really fun. It should be good fun.' In addition to Pitt, the cast consists of Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Scott Caan and JB Tadena. In addition to Pitt, the cast consists of Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Scott Caan and JB Tadena. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood earned numerous awards and nominations, including multiple Oscar nods. Pitt won the Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of Cliff. Brad Pitt through the years: How the star transformed from floppy-haired soap actor to A-list Hollywood royalty He has been one of Hollywood's hunkiest leading men for decades. And Brad Pitt left fans swooning over his recent appearance on the final day of Wimbledon where he showed off his chiselled looks. The actor, 59, has long been known for his attractiveness and has previously been named as the Sexiest Man Alive twice by People Magazine. But the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star has sported many different looks throughout his years in the spotlight. From bursting onto the scene in his early 20s with roles on shows like Dallas and Growing Pains to becoming a bona fide A-lister in the early 90s, Brad's popularity has endured. The star is enjoying one of his most productive periods yet as he juggles producing projects such as Landscape with Invisible Hand and The Killer along with starring in upcoming projects like Beetlejuice 2 and Wolves. As he proves he's still got it, MailOnline takes a glance back at the star's looks throughout the years. The 1980s Brad sported long, shaggy hair when he got his first introduction to the spotlight back in 1987. That year, the budding actor got his first on camera role in soap opera Another World and followed it up with appearances on Growing Pains and Dallas. The actor's movie star good looks were apparent early on and he soon earned bit parts in films like Less Than Zero and No Man's Land. The 1990s By the early 90s, Brad was sporting his trademark blond hair and appeared in one of his most memorable early roles in Thelma & Louise (1991) opposite Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon. Brad starred as handsome young drifter J.D. who ends up sleeping with Thelma and later steals Louise's life savings. By the time his star-studded film True Romance rolled around, Brad showed off his rugged good looks with long locks and stubble. Two years later, he proved he could rock a more cropped look when he took on the lead role of a homicide detective in crime thriller Seven opposite Morgan Freeman and his ex-girlfriend Gwyneth Paltrow. The early 2000s The early 2000s were a good time for Brad. He kicked the decade off with lead roles in The Mexican (2001) opposite Julia Roberts and Ocean's Eleven (2001) with George Clooney. The star carried on with a cropped hairstyle but opted for a more clean cut look during these years as he ditched his nineties stubble. Brad was already established as one of Hollywood's top male sex symbols around this time as he became the first person named Sexiest Man Alive twice in 2000. The mid 2000s A few years later, Brad sported one of his most memorable looks as he opted for a buzzcut while starring in Mr. & Mrs. Smith opposite Angelina Jolie, who he went on to marry. Brad opted for a more questionable look the following year as he grew a longer crew cut ansd dyed it platinum blond for the action flick's premiere. It was a brief look for the actor however as he soon returned to a more natural appearance. The 2010s Dapper: He changed the look slightly in later years, going for a more sleek hairstyle with salt and pepper stubble while starring in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (pictured in 2019) By the time the 2010s rolled around, Brad had expanded his career from acting into producing, working behind the scenes on a number of his films. The star also changed up his appearance during this period as he grew long, dark brown locks which he showed off at the premiere of his film Killing Him Softly (2012). He changed the look slightly in later years, going for a more sleek hairstyle with salt and pepper stubble while starring in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. This period was also a career highlight for Brad as he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the Quentin Tarantino flick. The 2020s Now in his early 60s, Brad is looking better than ever. The actor turned heads with his youthful appearance at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in 2023 where he sat alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton. Far from just admiring his looks, fans were also left tickled as the megastar, who famously played a man who ages in reverse in 2008's The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, tucked into a pack of crisps while 'still looking stunning'. More recently, the actor has gone back to sporting a buzz cut which he has paired with light stubble.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner backed for top Bond roles in hotly-anticipated new 007 installment

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner have both been backed to take on key roles in the next James Bond film. The famous couple, who got engaged last month, are 12/1 on odds, predicted by William Hill, to sing the theme song and star as the next 007 actor. Dua, 29, has a 15/8 shot to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Adele and Billie Eilish in singing the opening track to the next film. Meanwhile her partner Callum, 35, has gained support in the market for him to be cast as the next James Bond as he is now just 7/2 to follow on from Daniel Craig. A spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: 'Speculation is mounting around the new James Bond film, and we have seen support for couple Dua Lipa and Callum Turner to both be involved in the next movie. 'Dua Lipa has already proven her credentials on the big screen and in the studio, so it's no surprise to see her odds shorten to 15/8 to follow the likes of Adele and Billie Eilish by singing the next iconic Bond theme.' Phelps continued: 'Meanwhile, Callum Turner has seen a flurry of support to succeed Daniel Craig as 007 himself – he's now 7/2 in the betting, behind only favourite Aaron Taylor Johnson (8/11), having steadily climbed the market in recent months. 'As a duo, they're now just 12/1 to both feature in the film in these respective roles, which would mark a bold and modern new direction for the franchise.' Following months of speculation on who will be named the new James Bond, three names emerged from Coral Bookmakers earlier this month, with one lead actor back in the running. Kick Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 35, is also odds on favorite with Dunkirk actor Jack Lowden, also 35, and Netflix star Theo James, 40, following close behind. Bookmaker Coral have reported seeing a strong wave of support behind Aaron with the British actor as the 9-4 favorite for the role. Meanwhile Theo is currently coming in second best at 4-1, while Jack is backed at 5-1. Elsewhere the betting site have Superman star Henry Cavill, 42, with odds of 10-1. Coral's John Hill said: 'We've seen another strong wave of support behind Aaron Taylor-Johnson in our next James Bond betting. Although other names have been linked with the role in recent weeks. 'The British actor remains the man punters are backing to replace Daniel Craig'. However, it is thought that Spiderman star Tom will not be able to bag the role of 007 as he will being filming for Spider Man 4 in the coming months. The studio announced earlier this year that Denis Villeneuve has signed on to direct the untitled Bond film, via an Amazon press release. The filmmaker, 57, will also serve as executive producer of the project alongside Tanya Lapointe. Amazon had previously announced Amy Pascal and David Heyman as the film's producers, after the studio parted ways with longtime 007 caretakers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. The news comes just over three years after Amazon completed its massive $8.5billion acquisition of MGM Studios that included the James Bond franchise. There hasn't been a Bond film since 2021's No Time To Die, the final instalment where Daniel Craig played the beloved secret agent. The director said in a statement: 'Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007. I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No with Sean Connery.' He added: 'I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory. I intend to honor the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come. 'This is a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honor.' He also went on to thank Bond producers Amy and David, adding they, 'are absolutely thrilled to bring him back to the screen. Thank you to Amazon MGM Studios for their trust.' Amy and David added: 'Denis Villeneuve has been in love with James Bond movies since he was a little boy. 'It was always his dream to make this movie, and now it's ours, too. We are lucky to be in the hands of this extraordinary filmmaker.' After Amazon acquired MGM in 2022, they obtained full creative control of the 007 franchise with a deal they struck with Barbara and Michael, the offspring of original James Bond producer, Albert Broccoli. Barbara and Michael had been overseeing the franchise since 1995, when their father ceded control of his Eon Productions company to them. Amazon reached an agreement with Barbara and Michael in March 2025, and while financial terms have not been disclosed, it was rumored to be upwards of $1 billion. Villeneuve made his directorial debut in 1998 with August 32nd on Earth, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival that year. He followed that up with Maelstrom (2000), Polytechnique (2009) and Incendies (2010), the latter of which was nominated for Best International Film at the Academy Awards. The filmmaker broke into Hollywood with 2013's Prisoners, a dark drama starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. He continued to win acclaim for 2013's Enemy, 2015's Sicario, 2016's Arrival, 2017's Blade Runner 2049 and, most recently, 2021's Dune: Part One and 2024's Dune: Part Two. Amazon bosses are currently said to be considering locations in which to set the much-anticipated new film, which experts predicted is likely to be released at the end of next year or in 2027. Due to a filming ban being imposed in Central London next year, new locations are reportedly being considered - with Liverpool being a frontrunner, according to The Sun. An insider told the publication: 'This will no doubt irk Bond purists who already fear Amazon taking over the 007 franchise may lead to them making big changes. 'But Liverpool is a well-known alternative to London for film-makers. 'It has appeared in everything from The Batman to Captain America and Harry Potter movies, doubling up as international cities.' The source added that it doesn't necessarily mean the story will be set in Liverpool - though eagle-eyed Merseysiders will no doubt spot their city center in the background.

Late Shift review – pressure is on in badly understaffed hospital as compassion shines through

Considering her film The Teachers' Lounge gained a best international feature film Oscar nomination, maybe Leonie Benesch should be better known. (As well as playing a teacher in that film, she was also the interpreter in the Munich Olympics drama-thriller September 5 and played Prince Philip's sister Cecilie in Netflix's The Crown.) Benesch could be cornering the market in tough, competent, hardworking young women doing their best in a stressful situation. Here she plays Floria, a nurse (and a single mum) working the late shift in a gleamingly modern but evidently badly understaffed Swiss hospital. Floria has to hit the ground running from the very beginning of every working day. (The original German title is Heldin, or Heroine.) Writer-director Petra Volpe has adapted the autobiographical novel Our Profession Is Not the Problem. It's the Circumstances, by German nurse turned author Madeline Calvelage. It's shot using classically Aaron Sorkin walk-and-talk lines, with Floria exchanging terse technical dialogue with colleagues in the corridors. And there's almost a real-time single-take aesthetic, although there are conventional edits. British audiences would be within their rights to compare it to Casualty or Holby City. Floria is compassionate and conscientious, but it is clear that the workload is almost intolerable. Over the closing credits, the film invokes World Health Organization findings that there is a global lack of nurses. Every conversation or encounter with a patient is pressured, and patients are either poignantly grateful or resentfully on the verge of complaining. To calm one old woman with dementia, Floria sings the German lullaby The Moon Has Risen, and the woman quaveringly joins in. It's a touching moment, which briefly stills the movie's frantic pace, but it makes Floria late for everything and everyone else. The crisis arises with a pompous man who has paid for a private room and is furious because Floria is late bringing him his tea. Floria snaps, but the situation is resolved a little too easily. This is where the movie begins to look like a TV soap whose storylines have to be wrapped up within the hour (and the final montage with sad music ranging across all the patients verges on cliche). But Benesch brings a tough, smart, credible presence. Late Shift is in UK and Irish cinemas from 1 August.
