Synopsis
Krrish 4 marks a major turning point in the superhero franchise, with Hrithik Roshan stepping in as director for the first time while also playing a triple role. The film will explore time travel and is expected to bring back the iconic alien Jaadu after 23 years. Reports suggest that Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, and Rekha will return, adding emotional depth and continuity. Currently in pre-production at YRF Studios, the movie is slated to begin filming in early 2026, with a strong focus on visual effects and storytelling.
Krrish 4 Taps Into Its Roots with Jaadu's Rumored Return The Krrish franchise is set to make a major comeback with its fourth installment, Krrish 4, and this time, the film brings not only fresh twists but also marks a significant shift behind the camera. Hrithik Roshan, the face of the superhero series, will make his directorial debut with the film. Rakesh Roshan, who directed all previous parts, has handed over the directorial responsibilities to his son. The change marks a new creative direction for the beloved series, which began with Koi Mil Gaya in 2003.In a first for his career, Hrithik will take on three distinct characters in Krrish 4. After portraying a double role in Krrish 3, the actor will now explore a more complex storyline. According to Instant Bollywood, the narrative will involve multiple timelines—past, present, and future—through which Krrish must tackle a major threat. This time-travel-based plotline aims to expand the cinematic universe with a stronger emotional focus on family and relationships.
One of the most anticipated developments in Krrish 4 is the potential return of Jaadu, the iconic alien from Koi Mil Gaya. According to a report by DNA, Jaadu is expected to make a comeback after 23 years, reviving nostalgia among fans while also appealing to a new generation. Hrithik had earlier responded to actress Shraddha Kapoor's social media post, hinting that Jaadu might indeed return, further fueling speculation. The film is also expected to bring back familiar faces. As per reports in Dainik Bhaskar and Bollywood Life, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, and Rekha—who were part of previous installments—are likely to reprise their roles. This casting decision is seen as a move to deepen the emotional connect and continuity of the franchise. Their presence is expected to add gravitas and nostalgia to the storyline.Pre-production work for Krrish 4 is currently underway at Yash Raj Films Studio. Hrithik is reportedly collaborating closely with Aditya Chopra to fine-tune the script. The team is aiming for a high standard of VFX and action choreography. The emphasis is on delivering a visually rich experience that can compete on a global scale.Earlier speculation about Chinese pop artist Jackson Wang being part of the cast has been dismissed by the artist himself. While the film may have international ambitions, no global casting has been confirmed as of now. While major plot details remain confidential, reports suggest that the shooting may begin in early 2026. In the meantime, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in War 2, an action drama co-starring Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, which is scheduled for release on August 14 this year.

With this showcase, Aggarwal trades surface-level drama for something deeper: the invisible architecture that shapes life itself, our DNA. Amit Aggarwal's Arcanum decodes the human form into pleats, spirals, and metallic grace. (Photo: Instagram/FDCI) advertisementIf his previous collection, Antevorta, explored the fluidity of time, Arcanum is its genetic counterpart. The double helix, the three-dimensional structure of DNA, serves both as a symbol and a structural blueprint for the entire collection. Aggarwal's creativity takes it further, translating the code of life into sculpted silhouettes, precise pleats, and spiralling forms that had the audience fully captivated on the as Anatomy Each look in Arcanum is a wearable metaphor: gowns that twist like strands of genetic code, suits and co-ords that layer sharp tailoring with swirling, organic lines. This is metallic polymers meet traditional textiles (Ikat), structured forms stretch and curve like bioengineered exoskeletons. The result: a hybrid of future and heritage. You could see that coming for the colours that have been used in the collection. The collection was all about innovative materials like metallic polymers and reimagined traditional fabrics. (Photo: Instagram/FDCI) Deep jewel tones grounded the collection in richness, while electric reds, iconic blues, and high-sheen metallics gave it a transcendent, otherworldly edge. The interplay between charcoal, silver, and light-reactive surfaces added a sense of motion and mood, alive and shifting like DNA itself. Sculpted couture meets the sparkle of tourmalines, tanzanites and emeralds. This time, the couture week wanted to break its identity as just a bridal showcase, and it is safe to say Amit Aggarwal's 2025 couture collection was able to do it to a great extent.- Ends

Rivalling Musk's Optimus Robot, China Unveils Rs 5 Lakh Bot That Can Fist-Fight

A humanoid robot that can fist-fight and even do cartwheels has been unveiled by a Chinese company that costs a little over Rs 5 lakh ($6,000), rivalling other companies producing similar bots. The new R1 robot by Unitree Robotics, unveiled on Friday, could be seen performing handstands and throwing combination punches. The R1 weighs about 55 pounds and has 26 joints to allow for flexible movement. It is also equipped with multimodal artificial intelligence, including voice and image recognition. The robot's capabilities, as shown in the viral video, mark a significant leap forward in robotic locomotion and balance. Apart from displaying ample boxing capabilities, the robot also performed "kip-up' -- a complex gymnastic manoeuvre involving a person or robot transitioning from a supine position to standing without using their hands. See the viral video here: Unitree Introducing | Unitree R1 Intelligent Companion Price from $5900 Join us to develop/customize, ultra-lightweight at approximately 25kg, integrated with a Large Multimodal Model for voice and images, let's accelerate the advent of the agent era!🥰 — Unitree (@UnitreeRobotics) July 25, 2025 As of the last update, the video had garnered nearly three million views and hundreds of comments, with the majority asking if the robot could perform everyday chores. "Will it fight anyone you point at? Asking for a friend," said one user while another added: "Can it walk my dog and serve breakfast to my kids?" Meanwhile, other users tagged Elon Musk and his Tesla Optimus company, which also develops general-purpose, bipedal humanoids, capable of performing tasks that are unsafe, repetitive or boring. "Yo @Tesla@Tesla_Optimus@elonmusk. You guys still trying compete? Hope you're not still in the lab in few years while these guys are ramping and deploying next year?" the user said. Apart from Mr Musk's company, US firm Boston Dynamics and its Atlas robots have also helped pioneer the humanoid robot market. However, an advanced human-like bot for just Rs 5 lakh, if done successfully, could mark a major milestone for China in the robotics and AI race. Currently, Unitree's larger, more advanced humanoid robot H1 sells for more than Rs 77 lakh ($90,000). Unitree's older G1 humanoid, which has costs Rs 13.8 lakh ($16,000), grew popular for use in research labs and schools.
