KENINGAU: A 40-year-old farmer was sentenced to 45 years in jail and 15 strokes of the cane by the Sessions Court here on three counts of incest against daughter, who has an intellectual disability, on Monday. The man pleaded guilty before Judge Ahmad Fairuz Mohd Puzi to committing the offence against his 14-year-old biological daughter, who is a registered person with an intellectual disability in August 2024, at a house in a village in Tambunan. Ahmad sentenced the man to 15 years in jail and five strokes of the cane for each charge. The court ordered Ahmad to serve the imprisonment sentence consecutively.
