Fire crews in attendance after shed fire spreads to houses in Astley Bridge
Fire crews have rushed to reports of a shed fire that spread to nearby houses in a borough estate. Emergency services were called just after 5pm today (Friday, June 4) and quickly rushed to the scene in Astley Bridge. They said the fire started in a shed before spreading to a fence and adjoining houses in Cheviot close. Firefighters remain at the scene and are using two hose reels to put out the fire and make the surroundings safe. A total of four fire engines from the Bolton Central, Bolton North and Farnworth fire stations are present. We will bring you updates when we get them. 'Firefighters arrived quickly and are currently using two hose reels to extinguish the fire. 'Crews remain in attendance at this time.'
