Charlize Theron has criticised Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez for their extravagant wedding, estimated to have cost around $50 million. Theron spoke at her Africa Outreach Block Party in Los Angeles, where she highlighted issues such as immigration policies, women's rights, queer community struggles and gender-based violence as some of the struggles the world was facing. Bezos and Sánchez's lavish Venice wedding also drew protests from locals, criticising its impact on tourism and rising living costs. Warning: This article contains strong language. South African-born Hollywood star Charlize Theron did not hold back as she took aim at billionaire Jeff Bezos and former journalist Lauren Sánchez over their lavish three-day wedding, which reportedly cost around $50 million. The wedding coincided with global crises, which Theron highlighted during her Africa Outreach Block Party in Los Angeles on Saturday. 'I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding, but that's okay because they suck and we're cool,' she said, as reported by Vanity Fair. Theron also expressed gratitude to attendees for supporting the charity despite the world feeling like 'it's burning because it is.' The couple's wedding drew Hollywood's elite, including the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tom Brady. However, while their union created headlines, it also sparked protests. Back at the charity event, Theron addressed urgent global issues, including the erosion of LGBTQ+ rights, rising gender-based violence, and destructive immigration policies. She passionately urged attendees to take action, saying, 'This isn't just policy, it's personal.' As Theron wrapped up her impassioned speech, she took another dig at Bezos and his wedding guests with a blunt, 'Yeah, fuck them.' Meanwhile, Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot on the exclusive San Giorgio Maggiore island in Venice on Friday. Reports indicated speculation about whether the couple opted for a symbolic ceremony or had already formalised their union through civil proceedings.

In a post on his Truth Social platform early Tuesday, Trump accused Musk of gaining from subsidies on electric cars. "Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa," Trump wrote. Trump's signature "One Big Beautiful Bill," currently being debated by the Senate, includes a provision to eliminate the $7,500 new EV tax credit, a key piece of former President Joe Biden's efforts to accelerate U.S. EV adoption. "No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!,' Trump added as he lashed out at his former ally. Musk, who also is the CEO of rocket company SpaceX, recently stepped down from running the cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in order to focus on his businesses. Trump's comments came hours after Musk posted his latest complaints about the tax-and-spending bill on his social media platform X. "Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame!" Musk wrote. "And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth." Tesla shares entered Tuesday having lost more than a fifth of their value this year. During the initial escalation of the public spat between Musk and Trump on June 5, shares tumbled 14%, erasing more than $150 billion from Tesla's market capitalization. A shift in relationship dynamics may have led to and split, according to recent claims. It has been almost a month since news surfaced about the couple's alleged breakup. Last month, it was reported that they parted ways after eight years of an on-and-off relationship. The much-loved pair was first romantically linked in 2017. A new report has now shed some light on what may have gone wrong between the two. Chris Martin's alleged behavior with Dakota Johnson may have caused their split, a new report has suggested. RadarOnline exclusively learned from an insider that the 35-year-old 'loved' the Coldplay star. However, he allegedly became too 'dependent on her in the end.' The source continued to explain the troubled dynamics, claiming that if Johnson 'went away or wasn't answering his calls for any length of time,' Martin would 'fly off the handle.' The insider added that this would happen 'even when they were in the same city.' They further alleged that the singer 'didn't approve' of the actor 'going out with friends.' According to the source, the 48-year-old 'preferred to stay in all the time instead of enjoying a social life.' Previously, during a 2021 interview with Elle, Johnson got candid about her relationship with Martin. At the time, the actor revealed that she and her beau would 'go out sometimes.' However, she added, 'But we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cozy and private.' She also shared that 'most of the partying' took place at her house. Since they sparked romance rumors in 2017, the pair has continued to keep their romance low-key. Meanwhile, following the alleged split, Johnson is 'getting her groove back now,' according to the RadarOnline insider. Reportedly, some of her friends even think she may 'eventually take him back.' However, the source claimed that the actor has remained adamant that 'it's for good this time.' Originally reported by Shriya Swami on RealityTea.
