New York Giants great Tiki Barber joins WFAN's pre-, postgame broadcasts

On Wednesday, the New York Giants and WFAN announced an extension of their play-by-play partnership. As part of that extension, all preseason, regular season, and postseason games will continue to air on WFAN (101.9 FM / 66AM) and the Audacy app. "Big Blue Kickoff Live," a weekly preview show, will also continue to air throughout the regular season. Additionally, and perhaps most notably, retired Giants great Tiki Barber will join John Schmeelk as a co-host for all pre- and postgame gameday broadcasts. "WFAN and The New York Giants are two of the most successful sports brands in the tri-state area, and we're honored to continue this long-standing partnership for the fans of Big Blue," said Chris Oliviero, Chief Business Officer and New York Market President, Audacy. 'More programming, exclusive experiences and of course Tiki, will make the seasons ahead all the more special." Barber, who has been with WFAN since 2022, is thrilled about the opportunity and will continue as co-host for "Evan & Tiki." "I am really excited to be joining the Giants gameday radio broadcast team on WFAN. This organization has meant so much to me, professionally and personally," said Barber. "The Giants have a long history of legendary broadcasters and Wellington Mara always told them to call it like they see it because our fans know better. I look forward to providing analysis and insight that Giants fans appreciate." On the same day as the WFAN announcement, it was revealed that Barber would no longer continue in his role as game analyst for "NFL on CBS," where he had served since 2019. "Our mission is to provide our fans with the best Giants coverage across all content mediums," said Nilay Shah, Giants SVP, Marketing & Brand Strategy. "The ability to create year-round programming around tentpole NFL events, along with adding Tiki Barber's expertise on gamedays to our already talented roster of former players, is a win for our fans." WFAN also announced it will be doing Giants ticket giveaways for listeners throughout the year.

Create Account It appears Kelly Clarkson's concert crew was 'blindsided' by the last-minute cancellation of the opening night for her Las Vegas residency. According to a report, many workers said they felt 'so disrespected' after they found out on social media that the July 4 show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace would not take place. 'Everyone working behind the scenes was in complete shock,' an insider told The U.S. Sun . 'They woke up Friday expecting a normal day of work and began their day like always. 'It wasn't until hours into the work day everyone was told the news. A lot of the crew found out on social media which is utterly disrespectful.' Clarkson said she was 'beyond grateful' for her fans who always show up to support her, but had to cancel the shows to protect her voice. 'The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice,' she wrote on the X platform. 'I want the shows to be perfect for y'all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve.' Some fans 'burst into tears' at the news. 'The crew was setting up like normal and bam, it hit. Fans crying about wasting thousands of dollars, fans who flew from outside of the country to see Kelly for the first time,' the source said. 'She doesn't realize the depth of how much she let people down and most of them were crying they can't afford to come back another weekend.' However, the source said upcoming shows for Friday and Saturday are expected to happen. 'Everyone has been showing up every day to do their job and put on a good show,' the insider said. 'Now we just need Kelly to show up. I think people will be walking on eggshells and on edge until she actually hits the stage because of how last minute she cancelled.' Sam Hunt is a dad again

Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler have become parents for the third time. The Hard to Forget hitmaker and his wife quietly welcomed son Weyman Allen Hunt - a brother for Lucy, three, and two-year-old Lowry - into the world on May 21, and the 40-year-old singer admitted the newborn is already very different to his older sisters. He told Taste of Country: 'They're good. A little sleep deprived. Our most recent child got here in May, so he's finally starting to sleep a little better. 'We got spoiled with the first two. They were fairly easy. But Weyman, my third one, he likes to beat to his own drum, I guess you could say.' Although the couple announced the births of their daughters on their own social media accounts, this time around the happy news went largely unnoticed because the couple teamed up with Cedartown First Methodist Church to reveal Weyman had been born. A post on the church's Facebook page on 27 May read: "It's a Boy! "Hannah + Sam Hunt announce the birth of their son, Weyman Allen Hunt, born May 21st, weighing 8lbs 6oz, and 20 1/2 in. long. The proud grandparents are Joan + Allen Hunt. "Congratulations to the entire Hunt Family!(sic) The Body Like a Back Road singer admitted in November that he was keen to take a break from touring when his kids are a little bit older and will be unable to join him on the road because of school commitments. He told Audacy's Katie and Company podcast: 'I'm hopefully, in the next couple years, going to take a break from touring. 'The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they're able to come with me. And while people are interested in coming to see us because I don't want to take that for granted.' Back in February 2022, Hannah filed for divorce and accused the Take Your Time singer of "inappropriate marital" behaviour and adultery. She declared Sam was "guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper'. She added: "All hopes of reconciliation are exhausted.' But she sparked confusion as she withdrew the petition just hours later, only to refile in a different county in Tennessee after getting the jurisdiction wrong. Two months later, Hannah asked the court to dismiss the case and Sam was spotted wearing his wedding ring again.
