A man has gone viral for his candid reflections on his "cluelessness" as a husband in the early years of his marriage.
Josh Fisher's TikTok video, part of a series titled "Chronicles of a Clueless Husband" has resonated deeply across social media for offering an honest reflection on his journey from complicity in unequal domestic labor to a conscious effort toward becoming an equal partner.
Fisher, in his early 40s, told Newsweek about what inspired him to share the video, which has amassed over 1.2 million views. In the clip, Fisher provided a striking example from early in his marriage to his partner, Jaime.

Fisher recounted planning a trip, where his partner "would be doing the laundry, vacuuming the house, making sure the dishes were done." He described his minimal contribution to trip preparations: "She would get everything ready, and eventually I would say, 'Oh, now it's time to get ready.'"
The problematic division of labor, Fisher said in the video, only continued after they had children. "My partner would do all the work to get all of them ready and make sure they were bathed, snacks packed, and I would get myself ready," he said. He recognized the source of this ingrained behavior, noting that he grew up watching his father do the same.
Fisher and Jaime, who have been married for over 20 years and are raising four kids, have been sharing their relationship experiences on social media for several years; they are "attempting to dismantle patriarchy within long-term relationships and culture at large," he told Newsweek.
Fisher's personal awakening as a "clueless husband" began during the COVID-19 pandemic when he was suddenly home, watching the labor his wife performed when he would have been out of the house. This realization, combined with "my partner firmly communicating her boundaries," he said, created crucial "lightbulb moments."
Fisher created the "Chronicles of a Clueless Husband" series to share these lessons in hindsight, along with some of the "milestone moments" of pain and growth in their relationship.
"The hope was twofold," Fisher said. "Validate that women are not crazy for struggling in patriarchal relationships—and hopefully reach men sooner in hope they can figure this stuff out sooner than I did and prevent unnecessary pain."
While the viral content primarily resonates with women in the comments, Fisher said that many men also reach out to him asking questions and seeking advice.
The process of healing and reevaluation has been constant, Fisher added, and not easy.
"Much of this work has meant that I had to reevaluate my own socialization and beliefs as a man, which starts with truly listening to women's experiences from a position of curiosity and care," Fisher said.
He added that learning "how to be in relationship non-transactionally has been a huge learning curve but contributed to so much more health and joy in our household."
Fisher said he hopes that becoming a man attuned to imbalanced gender roles and women's experiences within patriarchy has ripple effects.
"I hope it … provides a healthier model of masculinity than the ones I grew up with," he said. "And, together with Jaime, we hope our thought leadership can contribute to positively changing the relationship landscape in our culture."
Fisher's honesty is a call to action for men to examine their contributions to the mental load and emotional labor within their homes, fostering healthier and more-balanced dynamics for all.

Christian MAGA Singer Vows To Continue Despite Canada Protests

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Sean Feucht, a prominent American Christian worship leader and vocal supporter of the MAGA movement, says he will press on with his tour of Canada, despite a wave of public protests, security concerns, and event cancellations in multiple cities. Newsweek contacted Feucht for comment via email on Sunday. Why It Matters Feucht's tour has become a flash point in Canada's ongoing debate over freedom of expression, public safety, and the role of religious and political ideologies in public spaces. As communities respond to his messaging—often framed around conservative Christian values and American right-wing politics—the backlash highlights tensions between freedom of speech and protecting marginalized groups from perceived harm. Despite the setbacks, Feucht remains determined to complete his tour. He is continuing to organize events at alternative venues and actively posting about it on social media. On Saturday, Feucht posted on his Facebook and Instagram accounts: "We've been canceled, banned, protested and smoke-bombed in Canada, but the MOVE OF GOD ONLY GROWS STRONGER! "The greater the resistance, the greater the breakthrough! See you today Ottawa and tomorrow Toronto!" Rebecca Noble/AFP/Getty Images What To Know As reported by Newsweek, Feucht is a pro-Trump American Christian singer-songwriter who unsuccessfully ran as a Republican candidate in California's 3rd congressional district in 2020. Feucht has previously been criticized over remarks he has made about the LGBTQ+ community and for his pro-life stance. He first rose to prominence with his "Let Us Worship" tour in the latter half of 2020, which protested COVID-19 lockdowns. In April of 2022, he helped to lead a protest against The Walt Disney Company for their opposition to anti-LGBTQ legislation. In early 2023, he announced a "Kingdom to the Capitol" tour co-sponsored by Turning Point USA, the nonprofit that advocates for conservative politics at high schools and university campuses. Several Canadian cities, including Halifax, Quebec City, Charlottetown, and Moncton, have canceled Feucht's scheduled events in recent days. Officials cited public safety concerns, protest activity and logistical complications. In Halifax, Parks Canada revoked a permit for a concert at the York Redoubt historic site after consulting with police and local residents. The event was moved to Shubenacadie, about an hour away, where hundreds of attendees gathered. Despite the relocations and cancellations, protests have continued to follow Feucht's appearances. In Montreal, demonstrators set off smoke bombs inside a venue, and at least one person was arrested. Critics of the tour, including advocacy groups and local officials, argue that Feucht's rhetoric is inflammatory and harmful to community cohesion. Some have also pointed to Feucht's political affiliations, which they believe are inconsistent with Canada's inclusive values. Feucht has accused Canadian authorities and media outlets of discriminating against his religious beliefs, claiming his events are being unfairly targeted for expressing traditional Christian values. He has maintained that his message is peaceful and spiritual in nature, not political. What People Are Saying Feucht posting on his X account on Saturday: "I've led worship and preached in Africa, the Middle East and all across the world in 2025. The most intense persecution was not in Iraq or Turkey - but CANADA! Didn't have that on my bingo card." The city of Vaughan, where Feucht was due to perform on Sunday, said in a statement, per CTV News: "The City of Vaughan has denied a Special Event Permit for a music event to be held at Dufferin District Park on July 27 on the basis of health and safety as well as community standards and well-being." What Happens Next City officials in other planned tour stops are assessing whether to grant permits, and national law enforcement agencies are monitoring developments closely. As protests persist, the debate over who gets access to public spaces—and under what terms—is likely to intensify in the days ahead.

Cooked: Celebrated Chef exits new venture after allegedly balking at free food for influencer because she wasn't famous enough

A prominent San Francisco chef threw in the apron at his newly opened cafe after allegedly belittling a TikTok influencer during a tense exchange over her follower count aired out in a viral video. The incident unfolded Wednesday at Kis Cafe in Hayes Valley, when 'micro-influencer' @itskarlabb described how she had pre-arranged a collab with the restaurant's team and showed up early to film content, according to a video she posted to her platform. 3 Influencer @itskarlabb was allegedly belittled by top chef Luke Sung over her supposedly low follower count, leaving her running from his new California restaurant in tears. itskarlabb/tiktok The influencer, known as Karla, claimed that a man — later identified as celebrated James Beard Award-nominated chef and co-owner Luke Sung — questioned her 15,000-follower count and told staff it was a 'mistake' to invite an influencer so small. 'I know they're talking about me, because I can hear them saying 'TikTok, views, followers' ,' she said in a later video, which has racked up more than 20 million views. The influencer said that when she introduced herself, Sung grilled her over whether she had researched the restaurant, a wine bar serving small bites. She insisted she knew the menu and the vibe, but Sung disagreed and began scrolling through her TikTok feed at full volume within earshot, the influencer said. 'After scrolling like, two times, he says to me that he doesn't think my videos are at the level which he wants his restaurant represented,' she recalled. 'It seemed like he was insinuating that my followers would not be able to afford to eat at this restaurant.' 3 Sung couldn't take the heat after the pair's alleged exchange went viral and left his new venture. San Francisco Chronicle via Getty Images Sung then reportedly asked, 'Do you know who I am?' and told Karla he was a two-time James Beard Award finalist and that his daughter is Big Apple vlogger, Isa Sung, who has 600,000 TikTok followers. He also dismissed the influencer's cooking videos she posted to her platform, dissing them as 'homey,' Karla said. The belittling exchange left her in tears, she said. 'I told him I felt disrespected and didn't want to collaborate anymore,' the influencer said. Karla's follower count has since skyrocketed to more than 350,000 since she shared the story on TikTok. The influencer said she wants to 'be an advocate for micro influencers' who don't receive as many handouts. 'You don't need to have a million followers to be respected or feel like you're making a difference,' she said. 3 Kis Cafe, which opened in May, announced that Sung had left as chef and co-owner. FOX By Friday, Kis Cafe's was getting cooked on Yelp, where its rating plunged from four to five stars to just over two stars, and reviews for 'Isa '– a 'pioneering' Cal-French restaurant that Sung previously opened and named after his influencer daughter — grew with haters lambasting the chef for his behavior. Kis Cafe, which opened in May, soon announced that Sung had left as a chef and co-owner, later clarifying he had done so of his 'own accord' and was not technically fired. 'Our chef's behavior was unacceptable, and he is no longer a part of the team,' Kis Cafe wrote in an Instagram post Thursday. The restaurant said it has now temporarily closed to 'restructure.' 'We want to create a space that's welcoming and respectful to everyone. In this instance, we failed to do so,' Kis Cafe said in a statement.

Min Woo Lee Cooks Golf With Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner amid PGA Tour Break

Days ago, five-time major winner, Rory McIlroy, was spotted partying on a yacht in Saint-Tropez, with a champagne in hand. Now, another PGA Tour winner has stolen the spotlight with a different kind of celebration. The newest Texas Children's Houston Open champion, Min Woo Lee, who is currently enjoying his PGA Tour break, was spotted at a star-studded party in West Hollywood, Calif., on Thursday. But what made it special was Lee's cooking (golf swing) snaps alongside Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber. (Image Credits: @lilbieber/Instagram) Instagram The event, hosted by Spotify in collaboration with Bieber's newly launched fashion label Skylrk, doubled as a listening party for his surprise album Swag. The album, released on July 11, is Bieber's first studio drop in four years. Interestingly, the pictures shared by the 31-year-old pop singer on Saturday also captured Kendall Jenner dressed in all black, swinging a club barefoot. Lee, who's earned the nickname "Chef" for his flair both on and off the course, later commented on Justin's typing, "The Best." The PGA Tour pro's appearance at Bieber's party wasn't just a one-off. Lee and the pop star icon struck up a friendship earlier this year. It went viral after the Aussie golfer snagged his Houston Open title, where he held off Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland to clinch his first PGA Tour title with a final score of 20-under. The 'Sorry' singer FaceTimed Lee after the victory and posted a congratulatory message on Instagram. The 'Chef' later reposted it on his own Instagram story, captioning it, "J frickin B." In an interview with the PGA Australia, Lee also shared how both of them are fanboys of each other. "The thing is he (Justin Bieber) fanboys kind of over me, but obviously I'm fanboying over him," Lee told the Australian media four months ago. The 27-year-old also revealed how Bieber would share videos of his swing, and he would critique it. The recent snaps reveal how fast their relationship has grown from there.
