Days of our Lives Spoilers June 26: Kate Catches Roman and Marlena in the Act
Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, June 26, give Kate one more mystery to deal with as she wonders why her husband is spending so much time with his ex-wife, the grieving widow. An unsuspicious person, Kate is not.
Rachel (Alice Halsey) spilled the beans to Marlena (Deidre Hall) about seeing Johnny (Carson Boatman) shoot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). (For the record, Rachel only saw Johnny with a gun. In Salem, twelve different things could have happened in between that and a bullet actually entering EJ.)
Marlena went straight to Roman (Josh Taylor) with the news, bypassing their daughter, Sami (Alison Sweeney), Johnny's mother, completely. Because, well, no situation has ever been made better by involving Sami.
Now, they've got their heads together, wondering what to do next. But those aren't the body parts Kate (Lauren Koslow) is worried about. She's always been a smidge jealous about Marlena and Roman's connection, and not to mention that John (Drake Hogestyn), the love of Marlena's life, has passed away.

And while the older generation is agonizing, Marlena's daughter, Belle (Martha Madison), is confronting that very same EJ about their relationship. She's admitted she loves him. He's admitted he loves her.
Everything should be great. But then there's the matter of her nephew, his son, and Rachel's secret.

Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) claimed Xander (Paul Telfer) was most definitely not the person who beat him into a coma. Not because he wants to protect Xander, but because he wants to protect himself.
If he admits that Xander knocked him out, he'll have to confess why. And that will cost him his inheritance.
But Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) knows her husband is guilty, and she intends to punish him — even if the courts won't. Which means keeping him from Victoria. Xander isn't keen on playing along.

B&B's Rebecca Budig and DAYS' Greg Rikaart Join Forces for New Show
General Hospital veterans Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson have blazed the trail for soap actors to do performances outside their shows, as well as podcasts. Their show, That's Awesome, has been going strong since 2018. Now comes word that two soap actors from Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful are collaborating to create a fun new podcast that fans will surely love. Budig and Rikaart took to Instagram to jointly announce, 'Love soap operas? 🫧 Go behind-the-scenes with the drama, the stories, the real stars! The #Soapy podcast is coming to you starting July 8th!' A video accompanied the post and Rikaart began, 'Hello everybody, I'm Greg Rikaart, Daytime's favorite chaotic interloper, whether it's Leo Stark on Days of Our Lives or reformed bad boy Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless.' Budig jumped in with, 'And I'm Rebecca Budig. Whether you know me as Taylor on The Bold and the Beautiful, Greenlee from All My Children, Hayden from General Hospital, or Michelle from Guiding Light, we are so excited for you to join us on our podcast, Soapy.' The two explained that they're good friends and felt they should interview people they know and don't know, to, 'celebrate our genre coming from a place of love and reverence and respect for the incredibly challenging and hard and fun work that we get to do on daytime soaps.' (Learn how Rikaart's Leo is DAYS' secret weapon.) READ THIS: Find out what to watch on B&B. They explained that they'll be interviewing 'writers, producers, and other tastemakers who make all of these shows happen.' A glimpse at some of their upcoming guests included Eric Braeden (Victor, Y&R), Deidre Hall (Marlena, DAYS), and Beyond the Gates' executive producer, Sheila Ducksworth. Rikaart and Budig will also delve into nighttime soaps as one of their guests shown was Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. Several soap stars from various shows expressed their enthusiasm with the new endeavor, including Julie Dove (Connie, DAYS), who responded, 'This is so exciting! Can't wait to watch and listen.' Weekly audio and video episodes of Soapy will appear starting on July 8 on all the podcasting apps. (Find out how Budige prepared to take over the role of B&B's Taylor.)

Here's Who Should Have Written John's Obituary On Days of our Lives
John's obituary became a main topic after his recent death on Days of our Lives, but if you ask us, it wasn't written by the right person. Salem has always been filled with writers, from Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Abigail (Marci Miller), to its latest, Leo (Greg Rikaart). Leo started at The Spectator as Lady Whistleblower, and now works as the paper's investigative reporter. So when the time came for John's (the late Drake Hogestyn) obituary, the job automatically went to Leo. READ THIS: DAYS casting surprise! The Young and the Restless' Conner Floyd is the new Chad. Granted, Leo did have a connection with John, once believing he was his father. But the actual Salemite who had the closest relationship with John and a way with words is Will (Chandler Massey). Will has become an established writer, his most notable work being A Very Salem Christmas. But despite his return to Salem to say goodbye to his grandfather, he wasn't asked to pen his obituary. Instead, the job fell to one of his biggest enemies. WATCH THIS: Did you know Soap Hub has a podcast?! Check it out here! Ironically, this isn't the first time Leo snagged a writing job meant for Will. When Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Abe (James Reynolds) were seeking a head writer for Body & Soul, Will was Kate's first choice. But when her grandson turned it down, the job ultimately went to Salem's signature writer, Leo. Do you think Will would have been a better fit to write John's obituary? Let us know in the comments. Weekly Days of our Lives Spoilers June 30-July 4: Johnny's Fate, Stephanie's Book Update
Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of June 30-July 4, 2025 tease a supportive dad and a supportive boyfriend. Despite Marlena's (Deidre Hall) and Roman's (Josh Taylor) concerns about Johnny (Carson Boatman) being the shooter, the week will start with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) insisting his son is innocent. He's vowed to protect Johnny, despite the video evidence he possesses of Johnny confronting him with a gun. By the end of the week, EJ will still support Johnny, no matter how done with his dad he is. READ THIS: Here's who should have written John's (the late Drake Hogestyn) obituary on DAYS. Summer means Salem's teen scene is in full swing, and on Tuesday, Ari (Marissa Reyes) will question Doug III (Peyton Meyer). She's been into him from the second she hooked up with him on her birthday, but what will she have to question him about? Could she discover the threatening photos he was sent, or will she find out about his feelings for Holly (Ashley Puzemis)? Considering Holly is said to reconcile with Tate (Leo Howard) on Thursday, Doug III may be bitter knowing his love is reuniting with her ex. On a less dramatic front, two of Salem's cutest couples are having major moments next week. Mid-week, Javi (Al Calderon) will bring Leo (Greg Rikaart, who is starting a soap opera podcast with a fellow daytime star!) a big surprise. These two have taken over as Salem's lighthearted couple, so who knows what fun this surprise will bring. WATCH THIS: Did you know Soap Hub has a podcast?! Check it out here! At the end of the week, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) pitches an idea to Stephanie (Abigail Klein), and it must be about her manuscript. Despite the fact One Stormy Night has been floating around the hospital since Kate (Lauren Koslow) lost it, Alex is still determined to publish his girlfriend's novel. Got a sizzling fan theory?
