Tina Dabi topped the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) in 2015, but another inspiring success story from the same year belongs to her close friend, Artika Shukla. She cleared the UPSC examination 2015 by securing the All India Rank(AIR) 4. Artika's motivational journey has become an inspiration for other students. A native of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, Artika is an MBBS and MD-qualified doctor. After completing her MBBS graduation, she proceeded to sit for the UPSC examination. Artika obtained her MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi. Artika was inspired by two brothers, Gaurav Shukla and Utkarsh Shukla, who also qualified the UPSC examination. Speaking about her personal life, Artika's father, Brijesh Shukla, is a doctor by profession. Meanwhile, her mother, Leena, is a housewife. While Artika was pursuing her MD from PGIMER, her elder brother Gaurav, suggested that she consider civil services as a career. She decided to follow his advice and quit her MD to start studying for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. She cleared the examination with an All India Rank of 4.

During her time at the institute, she developed an interest in Civil Services, influenced by the speeches of IAS officers frequently invited to seminars. Impressed by their work, Tejasvi decided to pursue a career as an IAS officer through the UPSC exam. Tejasvi Rana's UPSC Preparation Strategy It was during her engineering studies that Rana began preparing for the UPSC examination. She chose self-study over formal coaching, starting with CBSE NCERT books from class 6 to class 12. She practiced writing extensively and took numerous mock tests. She created her own study materials and used online resources, opting for economics as her optional subject. Her first attempt in the 2015 UPSC exam saw her clear the prelims but fail the mains. Undeterred, she tried again in 2016 and secured the 12th rank, becoming an IAS officer. Post-training, she was allotted to the Rajasthan cadre. To strengthen her basics, Rana studied NCERT books from classes 6 to 12 and chose Economics as her optional subject after careful consideration. Rana is married to Abhishek Gupta, a 2016 batch IPS officer posted in the West Bengal cadre. he too completed his BTech from IIT Kanpur. Consequently, Tejasvi also received an appointment in Kalimpong, West Bengal. Both share a love for dogs and frequently post photos with their pets on social media. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Rana earned the nickname 'Lady Singham' by fining a party MLA, demonstrating that the khaki uniform is not worn to bow to anyone.
