A pet owner who had been puzzling over why her dog's backyard toys kept mysteriously shifting overnight finally discovered the adorable culprits—earning smiles across TikTok in the process.
TikTok user @jadenicholsonxo shared a short video revealing the surprise visitor: a playful fox cub with no tail, later seen returning with its entire family in tow. In the clip, the little fox—now affectionately nicknamed Stumpy—can be seen joyfully darting across the lawn, proudly carrying the dog's toys in its mouth.
"Meet our new friends (I think they live at the bottom of our garden)," the homeowner wrote, as footage of Stumpy enjoying the makeshift playground played out on screen.
The video has since charmed viewers online, racking up over 122,000 views and sparking plenty of affection for the toy-thieving fox cub and its mischievous crew.

"This is Stumpy (no tail), he loves stealing Rosco's toys and playing with them at 5 in the morning," she added. "I've had to block the end of the garden with ladders and a pallet until I can get a fitted gate on the side of the outhouse as Rosco's started trying to get to their den."
The caption indicated that there are several foxes living nearby, now taking turns with Rosco the dog's toys.
"Say hello to my new little mates who I'm pretty certain live at the bottom of my garden," the pet owner added in the caption. "I'm sure there are two babies! I seen two of them on the street late last night."
Viewers were also shown footage of the cubs' mother, who the pet owner shared often helps herself to the large cushions on her garden couch.
The lighthearted video has drawn a range of comments from viewers on TikTok.
"The one with the stump," one viewer said, referring to Stumpy. "Oh bless them."
"They're so cute and you're so lucky," another added.
"How can anyone hurt foxes," a third viewer shared. "They are just the most adorable little creatures."
"Oh, he's absolutely adorable," another viewer said to much agreement. "I know he's [stealing Rosco's] toys, but you're gonna have to buy him a few to play with in the garden."

Bay Area native Breannah Yeh's leap from tech analyst to slackline star

Breannah Yeh is not your typical content creator. Her videos show her dangling above a canyon hundreds of feet in the air or balancing on a slackline stretched over San Francisco Bay waters. The big picture: This is "Made in the Bay," a series spotlighting content creators with ties to the Bay Area. Zoom in: Yeh, a professional slackliner, was born in Oakland and moved to San Ramon with her family when she was 11. She discovered slacklining two years later while at an El Cerrito rock climbing gym. It differs from tightrope walking in that it involves a flat piece of webbing instead of rigid wire. After starting her career as a growth analyst at a mobile gaming company, Yeh pivoted when her slacklining videos took off and now has millions of followers across TikTok and YouTube. The following answers have been lightly edited. What was the moment you realized your content was starting to blow up? When I started posting videos of me slacklining on the beach in Santa Monica. How did you decide to start focusing on content full time? During COVID I had a slackline video that went viral ... and that next week, I quit my job to pursue content full time! Was terrified, but had to take a chance on myself. What's one part of content creation that you love but people might not realize takes a lot of effort? I get really sucked into the editing process. I'm extremely particular about each clip I choose, because I want people to feel how I feel when I'm telling my stories! How has living in the Bay Area impacted you/your work? I grew up in the Bay and my first slacklining videos I've ever recorded were there at 13! ... Even though I travel quite a bit, I like coming back to the Bay to my roots and creating content there. If you took someone on a one-day tour, where would you go? I would take them to the Oakland Redwood Trees and show them Kirby Cove in San Francisco and then finish it off with sunset in Pacifica!

Gabby Thomas Turns Surprise Drug-Tester Visit Into TikTok Gold

Sprint star Gabby Thomas is also quick on her feet when it comes to awkward situations. In a TikTok video she shared Monday, the Paris Olympic triple-gold medalist was having a drink with friends at an event when a drug-tester showed up. Anti-doping agents take their unannounced visits seriously to catch cheats. Instead of fuming over the intrusion, Thomas played it for laughs and set it to the comic song 'Me, You and Steve' ― which is basically about an unwelcome third wheel named Steve. The video quickly panned to the smiling tester and back to Thomas going on with her socializing. 'I can't believe that it's finally me and you, and you and me/ Just us/ And your friend Steve,' the song goes. Thomas captioned the footage 'When antidoping surprises you but you had plans.' Click to watch it here. The clip appears to be on the up and up. The doping control official was recognized by former Olympic swimmer Erica Sullivan, a 1500-meter silver medalist at the Beijing Games in 2021. 'Wait she's tested me before,' Sullivan wrote. 'She's the best, loved gabbing to her about her kids drama.' Another commenter, who might have been aware of Thomas' whereabouts last fall, asked: 'What happens if you leave the country, or spending time in private areas? Like if you went to a resort in the Maldives where the island is owned by the hotel and can only be reached was sea plane transfer (you wouldn't be able to drive up and walk in without questions) for a week or two, would they come find you?' Replied Thomas: 'If you're out of the country, they use that country's doping control officers to find you. But yeah if you go to a diff country, less likely to be tested as frequently. And I actually did vacation in the Maldives last year and I wasn't tested, so I guess they can't find you there 😂.' Drug-testing has not always been a laughing matter for Thomas. She ran afoul of the Athletics Integrity Unit in 2020 for allegedly missing three tests and got provisionally suspended. But Thomas was able to prove her innocence in one instance and the ban was lifted. Related...
