Leading the airport's success were the 080 Lounges, which dominated the competition by winning in seven different categories. Their recognition was attributed to a blend of luxurious ambiance, locally inspired cuisine, and inventive guest service.
The Irish House outlet in Terminal 2 of the airport won the Airport Casual Dining Restaurant of the year - Regional award, while the Central Tiffin Room outlet, also in Terminal 2 won the Airport F&B Offer of the Year - Sense of Place (Global and Regional) award.

Kenneth Guldbjerg, the Chief Commercial Officer at Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL), the manager of the airport, spoke to reporters about the achievements and said, 'We are truly honoured and thrilled to receive these accolades. These wins reflect the dedication, creativity, and passion our teams and partners bring to the table every day.'
"It's a proud moment not just for BLR Airport but for India. We will continue striving to create spaces that celebrate Karnataka's rich heritage while offering world-class experiences to every traveller who passes through our airport," he added, as quoted by news agency PTI.

Residential plot values along the Yamuna Expressway stood at Rs. 65,000–70,000 per registering 94% growth over FY21–FY25. The rest of Noida saw prices between Rs. 90,000–1,10,000 per sq yd, growing at a slower pace of 45% during the same period. In Bengaluru's North Bengaluru areas located close to the Kempegowda International Airport, apartment prices range between Rs. 11,000–13,000 per sq ft, recording a 69% growth between FY21 and FY25. In contrast, the rest of the city saw prices between Rs. 13,000–15,000 per with a lower growth of 48%, it noted. In areas close to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, apartment prices in the Panvel region stood at Rs. 10,000–12,000 per sq ft, growing by 74% from FY21 to FY25. Comparatively, the rest of Navi Mumbai commanded higher prices of Rs. 19,000–21,000 per sq ft but saw only 45% growth. Panvel's plotted land rates on an average ranged from Rs. 80,000–85,000 per sq yd, reflecting a solid 93% increase. In other parts of the city, plot prices were higher at Rs. 1,10,000–1,30,000 per sq yd, but with a relatively slower growth of 58% over the same period, the report said. "Micro-markets anchored by airports are witnessing significantly faster property price appreciation compared to other parts of the same city," Square Yards said in a statement. 'Airports are among the most influential enablers of economic growth, urban transformation, and real estate development. In India, cities anchored by major airports, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, have demonstrated sustained residential growth, driven by improved connectivity, increase in employment hubs, and large-scale infrastructure investment. Kia Carens Clavis EV to launch in India tomorrow, set to be first 7-seater electric MPV in segment
Kia India is set to launch the Carens Clavis EV on 15 July. The upcoming model will also mark the arrival of the country's first all-electric seven-seater MPV in its category, signalling a strategic expansion in the brand's EV portfolio. The Carens Clavis EV is positioned to cater to urban families looking for a practical electric mobility option that does not compromise on space or convenience. The model borrows its silhouette from the ICE-powered Carens, but includes distinct visual changes to set it apart. Externally, the Clavis EV is expected to retain the MPV-friendly proportions of its petrol and diesel counterparts. However, Kia could introduce electric-specific styling updates, including a closed-off front grille that doubles as the charging port, redesigned bumpers, and new aerodynamic alloy wheels aimed at enhancing efficiency. The rear is likely to carry forward the connected LED light bar seen on the standard model. The interior will largely resemble the ICE version, albeit with an EV-specific digital interface. Expect dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation, a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a revised lower centre console offering additional storage. A dual-tone black-and-white interior theme is also anticipated. Convenience features expected include a powered and ventilated driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, wireless charging pads for both front and rear passengers, a panoramic sunroof, and an auto-dimming internal rearview mirror. While exact motor specs are under wraps, the EV is expected to feature a front-wheel-drive layout, with power outputs likely in the 135–170 PS range.
