Ammon4 days ago
Ammon News - At least 12 Palestinians were killed Sunday evening, and dozens more wounded, after Israeli warplanes bombed a crowded market in central Gaza City, according to medical sources.
Among the victims was Dr. Ahmad Qandil, a consultant general surgeon at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. The strike targeted a popular marketplace near Ramzon al-Samer in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, one of the most densely populated areas of the city.
The latest attack brings up the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks across the enclave since the early hours of the day to 50, according to medical sources.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,882 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 138,095 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza. WAFA

21 civilians killed as Israeli forces attack aid seekers in Khan Yunis

Ammon News - Medical sources reported that 21 Palestinian civilians were killed, including 15 who were killed as a result of inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces at aid seekers in southern Khan Yunis since the early hours of Wednesday morning. Israeli forces attacked thousands of people waiting for humanitarian aid, firing live ammunition and tear gas, resulting in a high number of casualties. This marks the first time fatalities have been recorded due to tear gas inhalation and stampedes at aid distribution centers, which have increasingly become death traps for civilians seeking food and relief. Just days ago, the UN Human Rights Office stated that at least 798 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the end of May while attempting to access humanitarian aid. Additionally, 169 humanitarian organizations earlier this month called for an end to the U.S.-Israeli aid distribution mechanism led by the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation', citing near-daily reports of Palestinians being shot and killed by Israeli forces while waiting near aid centers.

UN: 875 Palestinians Killed Near Aid Sites in Gaza Over Six Weeks - Jordan News

UN: 875 Palestinians Killed Near Aid Sites in Gaza Over Six Weeks The United Nations Human Rights Office said Tuesday it has documented the deaths of at least 875 Palestinians over the past six weeks near aid distribution points operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is supported by the United States and Israel, as well as near convoys run by other humanitarian organizations, including the UN. اضافة اعلان The majority of the deaths occurred in the vicinity of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation's sites, while the remaining 201 individuals were killed along routes used by other relief convoys. The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation employs private U.S. security and logistics firms to deliver aid into the Strip. The foundation has repeatedly denied that any incidents occurred near its sites and has accused the UN of spreading misinformation—an allegation the UN firmly rejects. Source: Reuters
