Cam Norrie roars into third round by downing 12th seed at Wimbledon
Norrie was broken in the fifth game of the first set to put him on the back foot.
But the 29-year-old seemed energised by a vocal Court One crowd in the second, which saw his rival fail to follow through on three break points at 4-4 – a shortcoming that allowed the 2022 semi-finalist to rally and get a break of his own to level the match.
Norrie's forehand began to cause the American plenty of problems in the third set, but after breaking Tiafoe's serve he was swiftly broken back as the bog-serving American relied on his ability to gain points via aces.

The tables were then turned once again when Norrie broke serve, again courtesy of his huge forehand, and proceeded to successfully serve for the third set.
Tiafoe then disappeared off court for a lengthy comfort break, coming back in a fresh outfit to face a fourth set with an opponent who was clearly warming to the task.
Though trailing, the American did not fold easily and break points were passed between the pair, with the momentum looking at times to be favouring Tiafoe as he threatened to regain control of the match.
Norrie held his nerve, however, and blips from his adversary meant he was able to pull off a mighty victory and book a likely clash with Queen's finalist Jiri Lehecka in the third round.

Andrew Garfield attends seventh day of Wimbledon Championships
The actor was seen sitting next to American actress Monica Barbaro as they watched the match between Sonay Kartal and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Centre Court on Sunday. The 41-year-old is best known for starring in The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as playing Eduardo Saverin in The Social Network while Barbaro is known for portraying Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown. He was among other familiar faces who were in attendance at the tennis tournament including British actor Tosin Cole. Sitting in the Royal Box were Olympic swimming champions Duncan Scott, Matt Richards, and James Guy. Former swimming champion Mark Foster was also seen in the Royal Box along with Trinidadian former international cricketer, Brian Lara. Spectators were met with a cloudy start to the day followed by some light rain with some taking shelter under umbrellas and ponchos. Flora Johnson surprised to be in Wimbledon second round
Back in the girls' draw for the second time in as many years, Johnson took down Sarah Melany Fajmonova in straight sets, downing the Czech starlet 6-1 6-3 to become the first British junior to advance at SW19, boys' or girls'. Johnson and Fajmonova had actually gone head-to-head in the French Open earlier in the season, with the latter winning out in Roland Garros. This time it was Johnson's turn to celebrate, but the 18-year-old admitted she hadn't expected to perform as well as she did, not least in such blustery conditions. 'It feels amazing,' said Johnson. 'I adapted quite well to the conditions. The wind was tricky and playing someone with a big serve on the grass was pretty difficult so I had to manage that and play with the wind. 'It was a bit surprising because I lost to her at Roland Garros. I wasn't expecting much but grass is my favourite surface. I feel I play pretty well on it. I had that confidence and the fact that the crowd was behind me made it pretty good.' Johnson recently finished taking her A-Levels, in which she studied Maths, Economics, and French. She plans to study at the University of Ohio in the United States on a tennis scholarship later this year but until then, Johnson has vowed to give it her all as she targets a winning farewell to home shores. 'It's very exciting to be here at this time of year with all the grass court tournaments,' added Johnson. 'It's definitely something I won't forget. 'I've been enjoying my time on-court because it took my mind off exams. I didn't really come with many expectations because I just finished my A-Levels ls so haven't been playing as much and this is a last hurrah. 'I'm just trying to play to make everyone proud.
