Why is Joe Buck hosting GMA this week?

If you're waking up this week to Good Morning America, you might be expecting to see George Stephanopoulos hosting with Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts as usual, right? But not on July 23 through July 25. No, you're waking up and seeing the legendary Joe Buck -- the play-by-play voice for ESPN's Monday Night Football who also used to work for Fox's NFL and MLB coverage -- at the desk. What gives? It turns out that Stephanopoulos is on vacation, so the ABC show is getting some help from Buck to fill in. Per Front Office Sports, he'll guest host Wednesday through Friday, while another sports voice -- Malika Andrews -- will host on Saturday and Sunday. This makes a ton of sense given that they're ESPN employees -- with ABC, they're all under Disney. Where is George Stephanopoulos on vacation? No idea, but hope he's having a relaxing time! How is Joe Buck doing as host of GMA? So far so good! Good stuff!

Here's how much Bengals made from revenue sharing in 2024

The NFL raked in $13.6 billion in revenue during the last fiscal year, according to an report. Each club, including the Cincinnati Bengals, received the same slice of that pie. The Packers, the only publicly-owned organization in the NFL, make an annual disclosure of their finances and some of the information was released to ESPN ahead of the Friday disclosure. That included that the Packers received $432.6 million as part of NFL revenue sharing, Rob Demovsky wrote. That also means the league shared more than $13 billion in revenue from the previous fiscal year, the ESPN report stated. The prior fiscal year saw NFL revenue sharing eclipse $400 million per club for the first time in league history, according to ESPN. This article originally appeared on Cincinnati Enquirer: Bengals NFL revenue sharing was $432.6 million in 2024: Report

Colts' fans voice their support for one QB as training camp competition begins

With the Colts' QB competition underway, fans voiced their support for Anthony Richardson during the first training camp practice. Indianapolis Colts' fans in attendance at Grand Park on Wednesday for the team's first training camp practice voiced their support for Anthony Richardson, who is competing with Daniel Jones for the starting quarterback job. According to the Indy Star's Nate Atkins, a "crescendo of cheers" came from the grandstands when Richardson took Jones' place during practice. ESPN's Stephen Holder would write that Richardson "got a loud welcome" each time he was under center. "I know this city loves and supports me," Richardson said, via ESPN. "I've just got to do my part -- make sure I can do everything in my power to be the quarterback they want me to be and need me to be." GM Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen find themselves in a must-win situation this season after the team hasn't made the playoffs since 2020. So at the end of the day, whoever is the most consistent quarterback this summer is going to get the starting job. But in an ideal world, it's Richardsdon who seizes control of that competition. For one, the Colts invested the fourth overall pick and time into his development. But more importantly, there is still the sky-high potential that he possesses as well. As Steichen described, the Colts will monitor Richardson's throwing volume coming off a shoulder setback, but that will take place during the individual portion of practice. In the team setting, he will be a full-go, alternating first-team reps with Daniel Jones as the competition and evaluation process truly begins. The big priority for Richardson this offseason was on becoming more efficient on those short to intermediate throws, and his footwork is a big part of that.
