Behind Steffy's Big News is an Even Bigger Threat: B&B's Key Moments for June 30 Are Downright Chilling

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the key moments of The Bold and the Beautiful show that something sinister is on the way. Steffy is counting her lucky stars right now. She got plenty of good news in today's episode. But of course, that won't last for long. Watch today's death-defying episode. Will (Crew Morrow) almost ended up as the next victim on Luna's (Lisa Yamada) hit list. She pulled a gun on him after discovering that he was wearing a wire. She learned that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had something to do with Will's surprise visit. He was trying to expose her. Luna vowed that she would do something to Steffy, which scared him straight. Luckily, Will was able to escape Luna's apartment before she went full-on lunatic, which, according to the B&B spoilers, she will do this week. Will rushed back to the Cliff House while the police were supposedly showing up at Luna's apartment. But it was too late because she was already headed for Sheila's (Kimberlin Brown) place. WATCH THIS: Check out Soap Hub's new podcast, Soap Hub Says here! Meanwhile, Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan) were relieved to see Will alive and not hurt. Electra (Laneya Grace) was also happy to have her boyfriend back in her arms. Even though she had to watch him kiss Luna, she felt good knowing that he was all hers. Will didn't feel an attraction to Luna despite having to kiss her. Steffy got more good news later that day. She got a visit from her mom, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), who was rocking a diamond ring on that finger. Steffy asked her what was with the ring. Taylor confessed that she proposed to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and he said yes! Steffy needed to hear more good news. However, with big news comes an even bigger threat… READ THIS: What happens tomorrow on B&B? Meanwhile, Luna ended up at Sheila's place. She was frantic after Will's visit. She realized that she messed up big time. Sheila was already on the case because she knew something like this was going to happen. Luna was upset at her grandmother's reaction. She thought she would get her support. But Sheila was only there to keep Luna on the straight and narrow. She's concerned about Luna, who's already far off the deep end. Luna feels like she was ambushed. And she blames Steffy for what happened. Luna threatened to put an end to Steffy, which put a chill up Sheila's spine. Why Beyond the Gates is not airing new episodes June 30-July 4

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. In a big shock in the soap world, CBS has opted not to air a new episode of one of its daytime soaps during the week of June 30. If you haven't heard, from June 30 to July 4, Beyond the Gates is not airing a new episode, marking an extremely rare occurrence in the US soap world (we can't even recall in recent memory when a planned week-long preemption has occurred with a soap.) Naturally, fans of the Beyond the Gates have found themselves incredibly frustrated with the announcement that they aren't getting a new episode of the series for an entire week. Check out just a few of the more tame posts we found on X (formerly Twitter). With all that being said, the big question arises as to why CBS is taking a break in the rollout of new Beyond the Gates episodes. From our research, there doesn't appear to be a set reason provided by the network. Furthermore, the series creator, Michele Van Jean, had this to say about the week-long preemption: "To those asking: preemption-rerun decisions are made way above my pay grade so no insight into that. The good news is the upcoming reruns are premiere week so those of you who missed it can catch up with how it all began. #BeyondTheGates #BTG" Additionally, upon seeing the fan reaction to the Beyond the Gates news, Van Jean stated, 'Just want to say to our #BeyondTheGates peeps, I love your passion for the show. And I thank you for it. #BTG.' So while we don't have a concrete reason for the preemption, viewers fortunately will still get to see episodes of Beyond the Gates this week as reruns will air. And in case you're wondering, new episodes of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful are airing during the week of June 30. Unfortunately, this all boils down to us all having to wait a little longer to see what horrible thing Martin (Brandon Claybon) did in his past, how Dani (Karla Mosley) will react to seeing Andre (Sean Freeman) with Ashley (Jen Jacob) and what's next in this Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) criminal investigation. Check out what's to come when Beyond the Gates resumes rolling out new episodes. New episodes of Beyond the Gates air weekdays on CBS and become available to stream the day after on Paramount Plus.

Soap Opera Critics Review Hits and Misses: Top 10 Moments of the Week of June 23-27

Soap Hub looks at the Hits and Misses for the week of June 23-27 in the worlds of Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates. 10. MISS (for now): Cat Greene's ISA developments (DAYS). So it turns out that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) is one of the best ISA Analysts Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) has ever worked with, and in one fell swoop, the show filled in Cat's origin story of how she ended up in Clyde's clutches. On top of this, her new assignment required partnering up with Rafe (Galen Gering). We're going to need time to process because it took a lot of heavy lifting to finally flesh out a character that has been on the canvas for a little over a year. 9. HIT: Tracy prevails thanks to Cody at the chaotic press conference (GH). We were here for Tracy (Jane Elliot) freeing herself from those drugging Drew (Cameron Mathison) charges in the most spectacular of ways. Cody (Josh Kelly) doesn't always do things we approve of, but Michael's (Rory Gibson) idea to have him help exonerate Tracy in the court of public opinion was fun to watch. And she bested Martin (Michael E. Knight), whose vendetta against Tracy is understandable, but also obnoxious at the same time. MORE: Here's what's happening next week on General Hospital. 8. MISS: The characters left behind in Genoa City didn't have much going on (Y&R). The Genoa City drama paled in comparison to the Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) reveal party in Nice, France. While there were some good conversations, and the Cole Legionnaires' Disease diagnosis, all Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) could manage to talk about was Aristotle Dumas and how they couldn't get hold of Victor (Eric Braeden). Sigh. 7. HIT: Nick is the one who breaks the Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge engagement news to Brooke (B&B). Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) wanted to break his engagement news to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) himself. But an eavesdropping Nick (Jack Wagner) beat him to it. And Nick continued to explain to Brooke why she needed to forget about her destiny and realize she has options, including someone standing right in front of her who wants her. Hopefully, Nick's words will sink in but good. 6. MISS: Natalia's drunken and delusional spiral (GH). Natalia (Eva LaRue) spiraled quickly, and she made some serious leaps in logic. How did she decide that her new life in Belize would include Sonny (Maurice Benard) by her side? Also, who agrees to stay quiet about her impending departure and then blabs it immediately? Natalia has always been a mess, but this feels too plot-driven, even for someone who is her own worst enemy. 5. HIT: Cane and Lily flashbacks (Y&R). We've already talked about Cane 2.0 and Lily's (Christel Khalil) instant chemistry. But it was an unexpected treat to see that the show created new flashbacks to give context to what went wrong with the characters in the years Cane lived outside Genoa City. MORE: Here's what's happening next week on The Young and the Restless. 4. MISS: Ashley asks Andre out on a date (BTG). The body isn't even cold, and Nurse Ashley (Jen Jacob) has already asked Andre (Sean Freeman) out on a date. She and Derek (Ben Gavin) just broke up! This will undoubtedly provide another obstacle for Dani and Andre to overcome at a time when they face several of them, including Nicole's (Daphnée Duplaix) attitude and Dani's inability to completely cut the um-Bill-ical cord. 3. HIT: Timon Kyle Durrett as Bill Hamilton (BTG). Bill gave us range this week. He was sincerely apologetic to Dani (Karla Mosley) while oblivious to his new wife's apparent pregnancy shenanigans. But he stepped up as The Fixer, the clean-up man for part two of this Martin (Brandon Claybon) cover-up. This included him mixing it up with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and then intimidating the bigoted busboy. Kudos to Durrett, who's always good. But this week he was great. 2. MISS: Taylor and Ridge's engagement (B&B). First, these two are rarely ever seen at Il Giardino. But Nick needed to eavesdrop, so we rolled with it. Ultimately, Taylor's proposal and Ridge saying yes didn't quite hit because this is Ridge. We see it in his eyes. He's starting to waffle. Hopefully, he's sincere about his commitment, but as they say, we'll believe it when we see it. 1. HIT: Paul and Andrew's wedding during Pride month (DAYS). After the devastation of John's death, we needed this. There was the Japanese wedding tradition and their incredible vows that may or may not have had us in tears for the millionth time in the last month of DAYS. Paul (Christopher Sean) and Andrew (Colton Little) are a wonderful couple, and we wish they could stick around Salem permanently. MISS: Missing sons. Now that Nick's back, they can't stop talking about their son, Jack. Brooke talks to him all the time. Who knew? We wouldn't mind if the show would cast Jack at some point. Ridge also mentioned how RJ (Joshua Hoffman) wouldn't be happy with to hear that his parents aren't reuniting. Where has he been? MISS: Nicole doubled down on her attitude towards Dani and Andre. We thought or maybe hoped that after Anita's (Tamara Tunie) triumphant (yet brief) return visit, that Nicole would listen to what her mother had to say. Nope. Nicole doubled down on her anti-Dandre stance, and while we get where her pain is coming from, she's not seeing how great it is that Dani made some steps towards moving on from Bill. HIT: EJ and Johnny's productive talk. Johnny (Carson Boatman) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) had a sweet moment in the middle of Horton Town Square. Of course, it happened because of a messed up situation. Father and son realized a couple of things. That EJ assumed Johnny shot him, which he says he didn't. And that EJ tried to protect his son despite thinking that Johnny shot him. Plus, Johnny's back to calling EJ, 'dad.' All is good in their father-son bubble now. Of course, then Johnny promptly got arrested. MORE: Here's what's happening next week on Days of Our Lives. MISS: Portia (Brook Kerr) and Jordan's poolside showdown. Portia's jealousy of Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) tracks. And she can never just hold on to her seething. She has to say something. And as a result, it was a bad look for the doctor, especially when she threw the drink on Jordan. However, she wasn't completely off track. Jordan's catching feelings for Curtis again, which is also a MISS. HIT: Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) realizes that Sharon (Sharon Case) is trying to protect her. We still don't know what to make of the thaw in their relationship, but Phyllis realized that Sharon's questions about her dealings with Cane were simply about trying to protect her. And it was a nice moment.
