Companies face growing uncertainty from geopolitical and economic disruptions, including rising tariffs, even as they come under pressure to make supply chains more efficient and sustainable. Many are using specialized consulting services and new technologies, including AI, to remain competitive in this crucial, complex aspect of business operations. Enterprises want modular, scalable solutions suited to their digital maturity and industry-specific requirements.
'The supply chains of the future will need to adapt to constant change,' said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. 'To remain competitive, enterprises are seeking service providers that can make their supply chains more agile, efficient and resilient.'
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 100 supply chain service providers. Working in collaboration with ISG's global advisors, the research team will produce four quadrants representing the supply chain services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG's experience working with its clients. The four quadrants are:
Supply Chain Operations Modernization Services, evaluating providers of consulting, implementation and managed services to transform supply chain operations. Leading providers use AI, automation and analytics to optimize processes and deliver real-time insights, enhancing visibility and compliance.
Supply Chain BPO Services, assessing providers of outsourced business processes including procurement, order fulfillment, transportation, customer service and logistics management. Providers must be able to integrate technologies such as AI, automation, chatbots, predictive analytics and natural-language processing.
Circular Supply Chain Services, covering providers that help enterprises make their operations more sustainable through reuse, recycling and remanufacturing. Providers focus on building capabilities such as resource efficiency, waste reduction, traceability and reverse logistics.
Supply Chain TMS Implementation Services, evaluating providers that help clients put transportation management systems in place to overcome operational, regulatory and cost challenges related to transportation. TMS requirements include addressing regional issues such as major tax changes, high logistics costs and limited carrier availability.
Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global supply chain services market and examine products and services available globally and in Brazil. ISG analysts Tarun Vaid, Sidney Nobre, Mamtha R, Rafael Rigotti, Sumit Kumar and Vaishnavi G K will serve as authors of the report.
A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as supply chain service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

Missed Palantir's Huge 100% Run in 2025? These Stocks Could Be Next.

Key Points Palantir's massive run-up is tied to its valuation increasing. Any stock in the market could double under the same circumstances that Palantir's did. 10 stocks we like better than Palantir Technologies › Palantir (NASDAQ: PLTR) has been one of the best-performing stocks so far this year, with its price more than doubling. Finding stocks that can achieve that is a dream for every investor, and considering the circumstances of Palantir's run-up, nearly any stock could be a candidate for such performance. So, what stocks could duplicate this incredible run moving forward? Let's take a look. Palantir's run-up isn't business-related Although Palantir posted strong earnings results in Q1, 39% revenue growth normally doesn't justify the stock doubling. Furthermore, that's year-over-year revenue growth, and considering the stock has risen around 800% since the start of 2024, there's something a bit odd here. The mismatch between growth and stock performance can be attributed to the stock's valuation, which has exploded over the past year. Palantir has risen from a stock that traded in the typical software valuation range of 10 to 20 times sales to more than 120 times sales. A good rule of thumb is that a software company should be increasing its revenue at a rate greater than its price-to-sales (P/S) ratio. Ideally, it's growing at two to three times this rate. However, Palantir's growth is a third of its valuation, indicating an incredibly expensive stock. This indicates that most of Palantir's movement has come from market exuberance rather than business performance. Considering Palantir's stock entered the year trading at an already expensive 65 times sales, the rise is almost directly tied to its valuation rising to an even more expensive level. If its stock were truly tied to the business, then it wouldn't be valued as high. For reference, when Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) was tripling its revenue year over year, it never traded for more than 46 times sales. Furthermore, it's still growing much faster than Palantir is right now and is far cheaper. The reality is that Palantir's stock has become far too expensive for its growth rate, and an unrealistic valuation has driven its impressive performance. Any stock has the potential to be bid up substantially by its shareholders and yield incredible returns, as seen with Palantir. So, if you're looking for a stock that may double, then literally any stock in the market is a candidate if the circumstances are the same as Palantir's. However, here are a couple stocks that have the potential to realistically double, without requiring unreasonable valuations to achieve it. Alphabet Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) is the parent company of Google, and doesn't receive the same premium that many of its big tech peers do. This is unfortunate, as its growth rates are often comparable to those of some of its peers. The big concern is that Google Search could be overtaken by generative AI, so the market prices it at a discount to its peers. Currently, Alphabet trades at 20 times forward earnings. Most of its big tech peers trade in the low- to high-30s forward P/E range, so if Alphabet can return to receiving the same premium as its peers, then it has the potential to double. While I don't think a true double is realistic, I believe a 50% gain is easily achievable if the market recognizes that Google Search is here to stay. IonQ IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) is a leader in quantum computing. Although this technology hasn't proved its worth, it's rapidly approaching that point. 2030 is expected to be a key year for quantum computing deployment, and if IonQ can prove that its technology is a top option, the stock could be poised for a significant rise. By 2035, this market is expected to be worth $87 billion, providing IonQ with a substantial revenue base to capture. Considering that IonQ is currently a $11 billion company, it could be poised for a significant stock rise if it announces a breakthrough in its pursuit of making quantum computing commercially relevant. The reality is that any stock can double under the circumstances that Palantir's did. But, if you're looking for two stocks with realistic possibilities to double, Alphabet and IonQ may not be too far off. Should you invest $1,000 in Palantir Technologies right now? Positive Points Travelzoo (NASDAQ:TZOO) reported a 13% increase in consolidated Q2 revenue compared to the prior year. The company achieved a favorable payback on the acquisition of new club members, with immediate revenue generation from membership fees. Jack's Flight Club segment saw a 33% increase in revenue, driven by growth in premium subscribers. Travelzoo (NASDAQ:TZOO) plans to continue leveraging its global reach and strong relationships with travel suppliers to offer exclusive club offers. The company expects revenue growth to accelerate in future quarters as membership fee revenue is recognized over the subscription period. Negative Points Operating profit decreased due to increased investment in member growth, impacting EPS negatively. Higher member acquisition expenses led to a reduction in EPS by $0.13 for the quarter. Operating profit decreased in both North America and Europe segments, despite an increase in Jack's Flight Club. GAAP operating margin was reduced to 9% due to the impact of acquiring more club members. The travel industry is experiencing weaker demand, particularly in hotels, which may affect future opportunities. Q & A Highlights Q: Can you explain the dynamics of profitability going forward, especially regarding the $0.13 loss in Q2? A: (Holger Bartel, CEO) The $0.13 loss in Q2 was due to marketing expenses for acquiring new members. However, in future quarters, we will continue to generate revenue from these members without incurring additional acquisition costs. This ongoing revenue from previously acquired members will drive profitability in the coming quarters and more significantly next year. Q: What is the expected frequency of club offers? A: (Holger Bartel, CEO) We release several club offers per week, usually a few dozen. Press releases highlight examples of these offers, but not every offer is announced via press release. Q: Can you address the increase in cost of revenues this quarter? A: (Holger Bartel, CEO) We had opportunities to purchase distressed inventory at discounted prices, which allowed us to create strong club offers. These expenses are classified under cost of revenue and are crucial for attracting new members and converting legacy members. Q: Should we expect continued investment in marketing and member acquisition in the second half of the year? A: (Holger Bartel, CEO) Yes, as long as the payback remains favorable. We will continue to invest in member acquisition as long as the cost remains below $40. The market conditions will dictate the extent of our investment. Q: Are there plans for a premium subscription level in the future? A: (Holger Bartel, CEO) Currently, we are not looking at a premium subscription level. We aim to keep things simple with one tier. However, we recognize that our membership fee might be too low and will evaluate potential increases for 2026. Despite Some Recent Challenges, This 15%-Yielding Dividend Looks Safe

Key Points AGNC Investment navigated several challenges during the second quarter. The mortgage REIT capitalized on opportunities to grow during the period. The company believes it can continue to pay its monster monthly dividend. 10 stocks we like better than AGNC Investment Corp. › The second quarter got off to a rocky start following the Trump administration's "Liberation Day" tariff announcement in early April. Stocks and other financial assets initially tumbled due to increased uncertainty about how tariffs might impact the economy. However, most financial assets recovered throughout the quarter as the administration ultimately delayed its tariff plan. Agency mortgage-backed securities (MBSes) -- residential mortgage pools protected against default risk by government agencies like -- were the exception as they underperformed. While this negatively impacted AGNC Investment's (NASDAQ: AGNC) results, it did not alter the company's outlook on its 15%-yielding monthly dividend. Navigating a challenging period Interest rate volatility and a sharp negative turn in investor sentiment posed challenges to the mortgage market during the quarter. Those issues weighed on the value of MBS assets. As a result, AGNC Investment reported an economic return of negative 1% in the period, while it posted a comprehensive loss of $0.13 per share. Despite those negative headline numbers, the mortgage REIT navigated the quarter's challenges effectively thanks to its robust risk management and strong liquidity. This allowed AGNC to preserve its portfolio and add assets at attractive levels. Its solid preparation heading into the period allowed the company to sustain its massive monthly dividend despite the volatility. A favorable outlook While the MBS market experienced some turbulence last quarter, it's still an attractive investment market. "We continue to have a favorable outlook for levered and hedged Agency MBS investments," said AGNC Investment CEO Peter Federico in the second-quarter earnings press release. He noted that "mortgage spreads to benchmark rates remain elevated by historical standards and range-bound, an extremely favorable return environment." Further, he remarked that the supply of MBSes is in balance with demand, which should strengthen as anticipated regulatory changes allow banks to increase their MBS investments. AGNC Investment believes these positive market conditions will continue even if the Trump administration makes changes to the status of mortgage agencies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The administration has floated the idea of ending the Federal conservatorship of those entities by taking them public. However, the administration has made it clear that it plans to preserve the pristine credit profile of agency MBSes. AGNC Investment believes this move would be a positive step for the mortgage markets and MBS investments, as it could help lower costs. Meanwhile, despite the recent turbulence in the mortgage market, AGNC continues to earn a high enough return on its MBS investments to cover its cost of capital (its operating costs plus dividend payments). Federico noted on the second-quarter earnings conference call that in the current environment, AGNC is earning a return on equity of around 19%. While that number fluctuates from quarter to quarter, it currently aligns well with its cost of capital, suggesting it can continue to pay its current dividend level. Additionally, the mortgage REIT sold 92.6 million shares of its common stock during the second quarter, raising $799 million in proceeds. It put about half that capital to work in the period by opportunistically investing in MBSes. As it continues to accretively deploy that capital, it will further boost its returns in a way that supports its dividend. AGNC plans to continue seeking accretive opportunities to raise capital and increase its scale, which will help lower its operating costs and therefore, its cost of capital. A higher-risk, high-reward passive income stream AGNC Investment stands out for its massive 15%-yielding monthly dividend, which remains safe even amid recent market turbulence. By seizing opportunities to expand its MBS portfolio during a turbulent period and maintaining its disciplined risk management, AGNC has demonstrated its ability to sustain this high-yield payout. Despite all that, this ultra-high-yield REIT may not be suitable for everyone. It has a higher risk profile that investors must watch closely. However, for those with a higher risk tolerance, it can potentially provide them with a huge reward in the form of its lucrative monthly dividend.
