A joint meeting was held in Sana'a Governorate under the chairmanship of Governor Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, to discuss the final accounts of the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit for the years 2023 and 2024, and the level of implementation of the projects included in the plan for the years 1445-1446 AH at a total cost of one billion and 813 million riyals.
The meeting discussed the project of loans to associations and enabling small farmers to establish projects in livestock, in addition to establishing central markets to market agricultural products, providing drying beds and screens for sorting and filtering coffee, rehabilitating the Hatarish nursery and supporting manufacturing industries in the governorate.
The Governor stressed the importance of prioritizing projects and distributing them according to needs, stressing the support for economic empowerment projects and enhancing the role of productive families through good loans, with a focus on developing the agricultural sector and improving services.
The Executive Director of the unit Engineer Ali Al-Qairi reviewed the most prominent difficulties faced by the work, praising the support of the local authority and its emphasis on overcoming obstacles to achieve the goals of the agricultural and development revolution.

Sana'a – Saba: Governor of Sana'a, Abdulbaset al-Hadi, along with Secretary-General of the Local Council Abdulqader al-Jailani, on Saturday inaugurated the distribution of office furniture and equipment to the agricultural sector in the governorate, its district branches, and agricultural development cooperative associations. The initiative, costing 14 million Yemeni riyals, is funded by the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the governorate. Present at the inauguration were Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee in the Local Council, Ali Al-Suhaili, and Deputy Governor Atef Al-Musalli. Governor Al-Hadi explained that the support for the agricultural sector and cooperative associations aligns with the directives of the Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council to revitalize the agricultural sector. He stressed the local authority's commitment to supporting agriculture in the governorate and its districts, encouraging agricultural work by empowering cooperative associations and expanding their activities in support of sustainable development programs in the sector. Al-Hadi also emphasized the need to train agricultural personnel and cooperative association members to enable them to fulfill their developmental role in this vital sector. He urged the stakeholders to make optimal use of the delivered equipment to improve their performance and meet the aspirations of the revolutionary and political leadership. He further underscored the importance of coordination between the agricultural branches in the districts and the cooperative associations, calling for intensified efforts in implementing the agricultural expansion project and ensuring accurate farmer data collection. Meanwhile, the Head of the Agricultural Sector in the governorate, Engineer Ali Al-Qairi, described the distribution as a vital step to enhance the performance of agricultural offices and cooperative associations across the districts. He noted that the distributed equipment includes 27 computers with modern printers, glass cabinets, wooden desks, swivel chairs, and hospitality items. Al-Qairi added that the initiative reflects the commitment of the Ministry's leadership and the local authority to continue advancing developmental momentum in the governorate, particularly in training and building the capacities of agricultural sector staff and cooperative development associations. Starting workshop on executive mechanism for preparing plan for year 1447 AH

Ibb - Saba A training workshop on the executable mechanism for preparing the 1447 AH plan and updating development reports at the governorate and district levels was launched at the National Institute for Administrative Sciences in Ibb Governorate on Monday, May 19, 2025, with the participation of 105 planning officials from executive and local authorities. The workshop, which will last for two days, aims to enhance the participants' efficiency in preparing development plans according to directives and priorities, and to reinforce the role of local authorities in improving services and establishing the faith-based identity. During the opening, the governorate's deputy, Mohammed Al-Shubaibi, emphasized the importance of planning for achieving development, while Dr. Ali Al-Hakimi explained that the success of the administrative process depends on the quality of planning, especially during crises, pointing out Ibb Governorate's outstanding performance in last year's evaluations.
