Victoria Beckham makes bittersweet family statement amid ongoing Brooklyn feud

Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham issued a bittersweet comment about family as she deals with the ongoing fallout with her eldest son Brooklyn and wife Nicola
Victoria Beckham gushed about spending time with her family in a bittersweet moment amid her ongoing fallout with eldest son Brooklyn. The Spice Girl turned fashion designer has been struggling with conflict in her beloved family as Brooklyn is said to have cut contact.
Things came to a head for the famous family when Brooklyn and his wife Nicola snubbed all of dad David's 50th birthday celebrations last month. The blows kept coming for Posh and Becks, however, as he also failed to acknowledge Victoria's birthday online, David's long awaited knighthood and Father's Day.

Reports have claimed Brooklyn has stopped responding to his famous parents and siblings as he continues to show his loyalities to Nicola. However, things took a turn this week when Brooklyn reached out to his family for the first time on social media.

He posted a moving message to his paternal grandma, Sandra and said: 'Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.' Yet, insiders still believe there is no way he will bury the hatchet with his parents.
Amid the ongoing pain, Victoria made sure to surround herself with her family. She enjoyed time with her own parents as they lapped up the sunny weather.
Victoria, who smiled as she stood in between her mum and dad, declared: "Family weekends make me happy!!! Love you @jackie.adams."
Last month, the Mirror revealed how David and Victoria's eldest son was in London at the same time as his dad, but kept his visit a secret. A picture uploaded to Instagram showed Brooklyn sipping a pint in a pub, with bottles of his own-brand hot sauce on the table in front of him.
Innocuous enough to outsiders – but friends of the Beckhams recognised the distinctive light fittings and stark green walls in the background. One pal told us: 'The picture was taken in London's Wigmore pub, which is part of the Langham Hotel where the Beckhams have sometimes stayed.

'The fact that Brooklyn was in the country and failed to see any of his family was heartbreaking. And not only that, but here he was posting about it.'
Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola, 30, had flown to London for a joint photoshoot with Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler, which took place less than two miles from the Beckham family home in Holland Park.

Dad David was not far away – he was pictured with the King at the Chelsea Flower show that day – just three miles from the Wigmore.
A pal revealed: 'Brooklyn had kept the visit quiet from not only his mum and dad but his siblings and extended family. It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles to London and hadn't engaged at all. It would have been very easy to meet up.'
To acquaintances of the family, the blame for what they believe are 'performative' social media posts lies with billionaire heiress Nicola. But a source close to the couple hit back at suggestions Nicola is 'controlling' her husband – and insisted Brooklyn is very much his own man.
They revealed: 'She is not isolating him at all. He is free to do what he wants and he loves his wife and they are happy together. They are each other's family.'

Jeff Bezos & wife Lauren jet off for expensive honeymoon at White Lotus location

Newlyweds Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos leave their luxury wedding to embark on a multi-million dollar honeymoon at a famous hotel featured on The White Lotus season two Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos are rumoured to set sail on a luxury trip for their honeymoon after they tied the knot last week in a three-day multi-million dollar wedding celebration in Venice. The billionaire couple haven't publicly confirmed where they are going for their honeymoon, but a source has claimed they will stay in the area of Torcello before heading to Nicelli airport. The newlyweds are said to fly in a helicopter back to Bezos' $500 million superyacht, 'Koru,' where they will move on to Taormina in Sicily. ‌ The Daily Mail have reported that the couple fell in love with the town last year when they sailed along Sicily's coast and the Aeolian Islands. It is reported that Jeff and Lauren will anchor in Taormina and spend some time together at Four Seasons San Domenico Palace. ‌ The magnificent hotel is famous for being the primary location of The White Lotus season 2 and a suite can cost upwards of €7,000 a night. The hotel website states: 'Perched on a rocky promontory high above the Ionian Sea, San Domenico Palace, an exclusive five-star luxury hotel in Taormina, invites you to experience the charm of a reimagined 14th-century Sicilian convent.' Before setting off, the newlyweds were snapped beaming and waving goodbye as they left the Aman Venice hotel by boat on Sunday. Lauren cut a smart figure in a white dress with an elegant drape. She finished the look with a black hat and some stylish oversized sunglasses. Hubby Jeff looked just as smart in a navy t-shirt and sunglasses. On 27 June, the couple exchanged vows at the stunning San Giorgio Maggiore island, set against Venice's iconic lagoon. The ceremony unfolded in a black‑tie garden event—Lauren arrived in a cream Dior suit before switching into a custom Dolce & Gabbana lace gown, inspired by Sophia Loren and crafted over 900 hours. Around 200 high‑profile guests arrived by water taxi to witness the nuptials, including Oprah Winfrey, Kim & Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bill Gates, Tom Brady, Usher and Orlando Bloom. ‌ Shortly after the wedding, Lauren changed her Instagram handle to @laurensanchezbezos, confirming the newlyweds' joy to the world. The couple took three days out of their busy schedule to celebrate their wedding, which is believed to have cost close to £40million. And while the happy couple and their guests enjoyed the celebrations which went without a hitch, it seems not everybody was pleased that the retail giant had booked out the entire Italian city. An estimated 700 demonstrators gathered together at Santa Lucia train station armed with banners that read "If you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax." The demonstration is believed to have been organised by the No Space For Bezos group. A few members of the group were seen laden with Amazon boxes that had the words "ordered, shipped, delivered, rejected" written on them.

'I was at Rod Stewart's Glasto set - there was something special you didn't see'

It was a family affair for Sir Rod Stewart as he returning to Glastonbury for the first time in over two decades. The crowd was packed with fans of all ages - with youngsters watching him power through a 90 minute set with their parents. There was no generation not represented amongst the thousands out in force for his performance. The Maggie May rocker, 80, pulled out all the stops as he headlined the Pyramid Stage for the Sunday Legends Slot - as the crowd lapped up his classics with special guests Ronnie Wood, Lulu and Mick Hucknull. But the real stars of the show were Rod's family, who mingled with fans and supported the legendary singer ahead of his big day. Rod was joined by Ronnie Wood, Lulu and Mick Hucknull (Image: William Dax / SWNS) Just hours before Rod took to the stage, his wife Penny Lancaster put on quite the show herself as she mingled with his fans in the VIP bar. The Loose Women star - and Rod's older sons, dressed in his trademark leopard print - looked every inch the proud family as they laughed and joked with people excited to see their loved one's big moment. Taking selfies with hardcore fans braving the heat to don Rod wigs and leopard print leggings, Penny was in good spirits as she caught up with pals before watching her husband's show. But Penny's work to ensure Rod's set went smoothly started way before today. Speaking to the Mirror ahead of the show, an insider revealed how Rod went to military-like lengths to ensure all went to plan. Already super-fit from swimming lengths in his pool four times a week, the star has been on a period of vocal rest to ensure his raspy voice is firing on all cylinders. Penny has been Rod's rock of support (Image: Getty Images) Says our mole: 'It's been quite hard as Rod is a chatterbox, but he knows he needs to preserve what's his biggest weapon…his voice. Rehearsals have been taking part this week with his whole band at a secret location with Penny a constant presence.' It seemed Rod wanted to give back to Penny while on the Pyramid Stage as he gave a touching nod to his supportive wife. Near the start of his show, he threw in the classic First Cut Is The Deepest. The tune by Cat Stephens was initially recorded by Rod in 1976. And he superbly entertained the crowd with it was again. But for eagle-eyed fans, it appeared as though he gave a sweet nod towards his wife of 18 years, Penny. While singing the line: "I still want you by my side," Rod pointed off stage and gave a wry smile. Rod couldn't have asked for better PR from his wife. If she is any representation of how he treats his followers, they're a very lucky fan base. READ MORE: How to see Glastonbury acts live this year after festival comes to an end Like this story? Rod Stewart pays subtle tribute to wife Penny Lancaster during Glastonbury Legends set

Sir Rod Stewart took to Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on Sunday for his Legends set giving a subtle nod to his wife Penny Lancaster as he played one of his hit songs. Glastonbury: Rod Stewart sings classic First Cut Is The Deepest Sir Rod Stewart appeared to pay a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Penny Lancaster, during his lively set at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday. The 80-year-old rocker captivated the massive crowd gathered at the Pyramid Stage in the scorching heat. The Maggie May singer powered through an energetic 90 minute performance, showcasing his iconic back catalogue while also including some timeless classics from other artists. ‌ Earlier in the show, he performed the classic The First Cut Is The Deepest, originally written by Cat Stevens and recorded by Rod in 1976, once again delighting the audience with his rendition, the Mirror reports. ‌ But it was eagle-eyed fans who spotted Rod's sweet gesture. It appeared as though he gave a heartfelt nod towards his wife of 18 years, Penny. While singing the line: "I still want you by my side," the rock legend pointed off stage and gave a wry smile. Earlier in the day, Penny was spotted posing with fans of her husband. The group, donning wigs to mimic the iconic rocker's signature look, took photos with the 54-year-old. During his electrifying set, Rod was joined on stage by fellow music legends Mick Hucknall, Ronnie Wood and Lulu. He also paid a heartfelt tribute to Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie, who passed away in November 2022, projecting her image on the big screen while performing one of her hit songs. Despite the standout performance, not everything went smooth sailing for the veteran artist. Before LuLu officially joined him on stage, Rod mistakenly introduced her during an earlier segment. While Ronnie Wood appeared promptly, LuLu was notably absent at the time, leading to a brief mix-up. ‌ The icon quickly retracted his comments and said 'oh LuLu is coming on in a bit' as Ronnie got his guitar and played for the massive crowd. LuLu did arrive moments later to sing the hit song Hot Legs with Rod in a gorgeous white suit. In another small mishap, Rod seemingly missed his timing during the iconic song Maggie May. The singer seemed to come in far too early as he sang the song, but it didn't stop fans from getting involved in the action. ‌ The rendition received the biggest singalong of his set for the large crowd, which was packed straight to the back. Despite the slight errors, Rod's performance was well received overall. One social media user took to X, formally known as Twitter, writing: "Like him or not. Rod Stewart has still got it!! He's a showman, great entertainer, and can work a crowd. You go Rod! ! Big shout out to his Band. #bbc #RodStewart #uk" Throughout the set, Sir Rod was forced to change his outfit multiple times due to the blistering heat. He first started the set in a white shirt and black jacket, before switching to a bright pink suit. He then finished the set in an emerald green outfit, showcasing his love for Celtic.
