‘Honeymoon in Shillong', now film on Raja murder

Time of India3 days ago
Indore: The Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, which kept police and administration in two states on alert, will soon be depicted on the big screens. Raja's brother unveiled the poster of the proposed feature film titled 'Honeymoon in Shillong' during a press briefing in Indore on Tuesday.
Raja was allegedly murdered by his wife, Sonam, and her accomplices during their honeymoon trip to Sohra in Shillong.
The film aims to portray the sequence of events leading to Raja's death and highlight the circumstances surrounding the case, said Vipin, Raja's brother.
Speaking to reporters at his residence, Vipin stated that the film will be produced by Varsha TV and Film Production and directed by SP Nimbawat. Akash Sharma will handle the casting.
Raja's family claims the film has been scripted with a strong narrative and suspense, reflecting the horror and betrayal that marked Raja's final days. "I have read the script. The suspense has been maintained. The story stays close to the events that unfolded," said Raja's brother.
The family added, "While the police and courts are doing their job, this film will also speak the truth. Raja went to Shillong for his honeymoon, and he was killed there.

This act tarnished the image of Shillong too."
When asked about potential changes in the script, the family mentioned that they had requested some modifications and that discussions with the writer will follow. "We only want the truth to be shown," he added.
They believe the film will act as a mirror to the events and may assist in public awareness. "The police have done commendable work. The chargesheet is expected to be filed soon, and before Raja's 13th-day rituals, all the accused had been taken into custody. We will share this film with the Meghalaya Police too—it's our way of contributing to justice."

Kate Middleton never wears these 5 things in public

(Image Credits: Pinterest) Kate Middleton is undeniably one of the most stylish women in the British royal family. Considering her numerous duties as the future queen of England, she has keenly followed the rules and regulations as the Princess of Wales. She always abides by the royal directives, which include maintaining a strict dress code. Despite having an expansive wardrobe, there are a few rare fashion items that she rarely sports. This consists of a particular colour as well. The shade of orange The royals steer clear of the orange shade. However, this has a theory that doesn't photograph well. Although the late queen was spotted in this bright hue many a time, because of its bright palette, Kate Middleton refrains from wearing this hue. However, she's seen in peach and coral shades, which have always been on the table for her. (Image Credits: Pinterest) High wedges are a big no Although there's no royal rule against wearing sandals, Kate has never been seen wearing heeled wedges. It is said that the late queen didn't like its vibe, so Kate Middleton adhered to her tone and, on most of the accounts, is seen in high-heeled sandals, mules, and bellies. On top of that, she's never carried any of Princess Diana's handbags, even though she's inherited many pieces from Diana's personal collection. Cartier is a go-to choice Kate never wears a timepiece except for her Cartier Ballon Bleu watch, which looks formal and subtle. In nearly every public appearance, whether with a lavish gown or a simple co-ord set, she always carries this simple piece. Many of the other royals have been spotted in stunning timepieces, but Kate likes to keep things simple and subtle. (Image Credits: Pinterest) No Versace ensemble in the wardrobe While the Princess of Wales has been spotted wearing multiple luxurious labels from across the globe, there's one brand she's never seen in. It's Versace. Versace outfits are known for their bold, opulent, and sensual designs and include rich fabrics and intricate detailing, with iconic motifs that can be a daring pick for the royal princess. Although the brand is an epitome of female empowerment and luxury, she has never donned any of their pieces. The Princess of Wales couldn't be more of a beauty icon if she tried. Almost all of the things mentioned above seem like her personal choice, which makes her more refined and directive. She consistently maintains her impeccable style, making her unique and iconic. CBSE carries out surprise inspections in 15 schools across seven regions to check dummy student enrolments

CBSE carries out surprise inspections in 15 schools to check dummy student enrolments. (Image Credit - Gemini) NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted surprise inspections in 15 schools spread across five states and two Union Territories to verify compliance with its regulations and to investigate the issue of dummy student enrolments. The inspections were carried out simultaneously on July 31, 2025, as part of the Board's efforts to ensure schools adhere to its Bye-Laws and maintain required academic and physical infrastructure standards. The exercise involved 15 teams, each comprising an officer from the Board and a principal of a CBSE-affiliated school. These teams were deployed to various locations in Delhi, Chandigarh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The synchronised inspections aimed to maintain the element of surprise and obtain accurate information about the functioning of the institutions. Surprise inspections across multiple regions The inspections covered 15 schools in total, located in seven different regions. The schools included a mix of public and private institutions affiliated with the CBSE. In Delhi alone, nine schools were inspected, including Apex Public School in Sant Nagar, CIAT Convent School in Kanjhawala, and Rajindra Public School in Nangloi. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Chandigarh saw the inspection of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School in Sector 40-C. The states of Maharashtra and Jharkhand witnessed checks in The Jain International School in Nagpur, Rahul International School in Mira Road, and Central Academy in Ranchi respectively. Other schools inspected were J S Memorial Public School in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh; Aaloke Bharti Model School in Kolkata, West Bengal; and Lakshya School in Samalkota Mandal, Andhra Pradesh. The widespread inspections reflected the Board's commitment to enforcing uniform standards across its affiliated schools. Focus on dummy student enrolments and compliance The primary objective of these surprise inspections was to ascertain whether schools were enrolling dummy students—those who are enrolled but do not attend classes—as well as to verify the maintenance of academic standards and infrastructure. The CBSE emphasised that such practices undermine the integrity of the education system and contravene Board regulations. Each team conducted thorough evaluations of school operations within a limited time frame, ensuring that no prior information could influence the inspection process. The inspections reviewed various aspects including student attendance records, infrastructure facilities, and adherence to prescribed academic norms. Next steps following inspection reports Following the inspections, the CBSE will review the reports submitted by the inspection committees. Appropriate action will be taken based on the findings, which may include penalties or other corrective measures against schools found violating the Board's regulations. The CBSE reaffirmed its commitment to upholding educational standards and ensuring that affiliated schools operate transparently and within the rules set by the Board. The surprise inspections are part of ongoing efforts to monitor and regulate school functioning effectively. List of schools inspected S.
