'A body I didn't recognize': Tom Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bündchen says plastic surgery ruined her body image and left her feeling ashamed
Gisele Bündchen, one of the most iconic supermodels of all time, has always embodied beauty, success, and confidence. But behind the glamorous façade, the Brazilian star has faced deeply personal struggles — including a cosmetic procedure she later came to regret.
While Bündchen continues to thrive as a wellness advocate and author, she hasn't shied away from being honest about the moments of insecurity that shaped her journey.
Gisele Bündchen opens up about plastic surgery regret
In her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, Gisele Bündchen revealed she had breast augmentation surgery in 2015 after feeling self-conscious following childbirth. The model explained that after breastfeeding her two children — Benjamin in 2009 and Vivian in 2012 — one side of her chest appeared noticeably different.
'All I wanted was for them to be even and for people to stop commenting on it,' she told People magazine.
To maintain her privacy, Bündchen traveled to Paris and wore a burqa to conceal her identity. But her feelings after the procedure were anything but empowering. 'When I woke up, I was like, 'What have I done?' I felt like I was living in a body I didn't recognize,' she admitted. For over a year, she dressed in oversized clothing to hide her discomfort and emotional distress.
Although her then-husband Tom Brady supported her, the decision haunted her for years.
No longer chasing perfection: Gisele Bündchen turns to nature, balance, and mindfulness
Now 44, Bündchen embraces a very different philosophy. She speaks openly about her commitment to natural beauty, wellness, and inner peace. 'I believe that outer beauty is a reflection of your inner balance and peace,' she said in an interview with Allure, emphasizing her preference for healthy routines over cosmetic fixes.
Rather than chasing youth, the former Victoria's Secret Angel believes in aging gracefully.
She sees wrinkles and lines as markers of a well-lived life. 'Aging is a beautiful thing and a natural part of life,' Bündchen shared. 'But it can also be challenging.'
Her daily routine includes meditation, fitness, hydration, and organic skincare. She swears by coconut oil, rose water, lavender, and serums made from natural ingredients. 'It is very important to drink plenty of water and eat food that comes from the earth,' she told Vogue France.

Diddy facing 20 years but NFL's Dez Bryant says Cassie 'was no victim'
Dez Bryant responds to Diddy trial, says abuse was wrong but Cassie 'not innocent'. Brandon Wade/AP Just hours after Sean 'Diddy' Combs was found guilty of transporting Cassie across state lines for sex acts, Dez Bryant logged on to X and said what almost no one dared to: 'Cassie wasn't no victim… not even close. ' The former Cowboys wide receiver didn't just drop a one-liner and dip, he doubled and tripled down with a full-on thread, defending Diddy, criticizing Cassie, and throwing a controversial take on Hollywood relationships into the mix. Now, with Diddy facing up to 20 years in prison, Bryant's comments are being dissected everywhere from the media to legal circles to abuse survivors' advocacy groups. The verdict came down and Dez Bryant wasted no time taking sides On July 2, 2025, a federal jury reached its decision in the Diddy case. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering, but convicted on two counts under the Mann Act, which involved transporting women including Cassie for prostitution. That alone would've been explosive news. But within hours, Dez Bryant made sure the internet stayed heated. 'Cassie wasn't no victim… not even close.' 'Her getting beat was extremely unacceptable… but accountability has to play its part somewhere.' That quote wasn't even the most aggressive one. In another tweet, Bryant fired back at a fan saying Cassie couldn't leave Diddy: 'I'm not sad… Diddy wrong and Cassie wrong… a sin is a sin. Neither is greater than the other.' Bryant's argument? That Cassie wasn't some helpless woman trapped in Diddy's world, she allegedly chose it. He claimed she benefited from the fame and lifestyle, and compared her situation to a wife staying in a toxic marriage to keep her Hollywood status. 'Your wife of 15 years will risk her family for a lifestyle in Hollywood... Accountability have to play its part somewhere.' To Bryant, abuse may have happened but Cassie wasn't completely powerless, and she should also be held accountable for her choices. But legally, Cassie's testimony helped convict Diddy Cassie wasn't just mentioned in passing, she was central to the government's case. She testified for four days about being emotionally and physically abused, coerced into drug use, and forced into what she called 'freak-offs.' One of the most damning moments? Surveillance footage showing Diddy physically assaulting her in a hotel hallway. The jury believed enough of her story to convict Diddy on two felony counts. Bryant's tweets essentially reject the very testimony that helped put Diddy behind bars. But regardless of where the public lands, one thing is certain: Dez Bryant didn't just share a hot take, he poked a hornet's nest, right as the legal system finally held Diddy accountable for some of his actions. Corey Seager's wife Madisyn celebrates baby shower with Rangers family
Image Source: madyseager/Instagram It was a sweet day for Corey Seager's wife, Madisyn, who had a baby shower party. Family, friends, and teammates all came together to show her spa day love ahead of her welcoming a baby boy later in the year. The pastel-blue decor, the sweet toasts, and the party vibes are everything anyone might imagine when two people are excited to start their next chapter together. Rangers' family shows support at Madisyn Seager 's baby shower With soft pastels and styled-to-perfection details, the baby shower was all hands on deck. In attendance were the wives of a handful of Rangers, as well as close friends who have built a familial bond over the months with Madisyn and Corey. Madisyn has made lots of friends in the baseball world, too, and hosted a balloon‑filled party for teammate Shelby Stripling earlier this year. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) The spirit of benediction rubbed off today at the shower: loving conversations, laughter, and pointers to the parents‑to‑be created an almost sentimental period setting for the event. The gathering was a palpable testament to Madisyn placing an emphasis on female friendships and shared motherhood experiences. The party was a reaffirmation of the way games such as these transcend the pitch and centralize the family, which is welded together in the corridors behind the scenes. As players go toe-to-toe on the field, their families often create support systems beyond it, making teammates family. Madisyn Seager embraces pregnancy with heartfelt celebration In March, Madisyn announced her pregnancy with a heartwarming post of the couple on the beach, writing, "our fave chapter yet baby seags coming soon.', has been documenting her journey publicly on social media. During a colour-reveal shoot with blue flowers, she and Corey announced they are having a baby boy. Madisyn has repeatedly expressed her happiness and thankfulness since, including with this peaceful photo at the Rangers gala, when Corey briefly placed his hand on her stomach — the first sign of many for them both.
