Jordan News27-05-2025
Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya on Monday sponsored the celebration organized by Jerash Private University on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. اضافة اعلان In his speech, Al-Faraya emphasized that independence is the fruit of a long struggle in which forefathers sacrificed dearly, enduring years of patience and resilience. He recalled the sacrifices made by Jordanian families, offering martyrs one after another for the sake of building a prosperous state, now wisely and capably led by His Majesty King Abdullah II. Al-Faraya highlighted the vital role of the Jordanian citizen in shaping and preserving independence, stating that the independent individual is the cornerstone of a cohesive society—one that understands that true belonging to the nation is only complete through giving, solidarity, empathy, responsibility, and genuine volunteerism. He stressed that a person's value is not measured by their name, lineage, or origin, but by what they achieve and contribute, and the positive impact they leave in their community and country. Al-Faraya pointed to the ongoing meaning of independence as the true launchpad for development, progress, and achievement. He noted that nearly every town across Jordan now enjoys public services like roads, water, electricity, schools, health centers, and sports facilities. As a result, the country has come to symbolize modernity, growth, and stability, becoming a destination for residents of other nations due to its secure and stable environment. On another note, Al-Faraya addressed the critical importance of national unity in reinforcing independence and strengthening the internal front. He stated that "whoever undermines national unity is an enemy of the homeland and every sincere Jordanian." In contrast, he affirmed that true, active citizenship is the foundation of achievement and the most genuine expression of independence. Standing behind the Hashemite leadership, he said, is the only path to overcoming challenges and securing the stability of the country. Marking the occasion, Al-Faraya expressed deep pride in the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies—Jordan's fortress and stronghold—and praised their essential role in preserving the achievements and values of independence.
Finally, he extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on this cherished national occasion. (Petra)

Under Royal directives .. Jordan sends aid convoy to southern Syria

Ammon News - Under royal directives, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, dispatched a food and medical aid convoy to our brothers in the Syrian Arab Republic on Wednesday. The aid convoy arrived in southern Syria just hours after Jordanian aid was sent to the Gaza Strip, reflecting Jordan's support for its Arab brothers and sisters during these exceptional circumstances. JHCO Secretary-General, Hussein Shibli, said that coordination had taken place with the Syrian government to bring in aid through the Jaber/Nassib border crossing, in preparation for transporting the aid to the residents through the Syrian Red Crescent and distributing it to those who deserve it. A convoy of 10 trucks set off after being loaded from the JHCO's warehouses with the necessary food supplies, especially flour, as well as medicines, medical supplies and consumables, Shibli noted. In addition, Shibli indicated that this aid comes as a form of support for our brothers and sisters in Syria, following the difficult circumstances their people have endured due to the bloody events that occurred last week.

Completion of "Tawjihi" Exam Grading and Start of Verification Process - Jordan News

The Ministry of Education has completed the grading process for all subjects of the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), according to Director of Examinations and Assessments at the Ministry, Mohammad Shehadeh. اضافة اعلان Speaking to Al-Mamlaka on Wednesday, Shehadeh stated that the grading and mark entry processes have been finalized. The relevant teams at the ministry have now begun the verification and auditing phase of the exam booklets and answer sheets. He added that the ministry will not set a date for the announcement of results until all verification procedures — including auditing, cross-checking, and data entry — are fully completed, ensuring the accuracy of the final outcomes. Shehadeh emphasized that administrative and technical teams are making substantial efforts to release the results according to the ministry's established timeline. Extracting final grades requires extensive time and effort even after grading, to ensure that all student rights are preserved. He explained that each answer booklet undergoes a comprehensive multi-stage review process, which includes more than 27 steps, involving multiple specialized committees to inspect, audit, and cross-check both manually and electronically — ensuring accurate correction and mark aggregation. In a previous statement, Shehadeh estimated that the Tawjihi results would likely be announced during the first third of August, noting that results typically require 3 to 4 weeks to process after the final exam. This year's exams concluded on July 10, having begun on June 19, with approximately 209,871 students participating. He reaffirmed that the Ministry of Education is the only official source for announcing the results and their release date, urging the public not to believe any rumors or unofficial reports.
