This Ultra-Small Power Bank Is All You Need to Stay Charged on the Go
Phone accessories brand Baseus recently launched its PicoGo Magnetic Power Bank Series. At barely half an inch thick, the new Qi2 magnetic power bank offers a compact design that fits easily into most pockets. It's smaller than a credit card and lighter than your phone, but its compact design doesn't limit its functionality.
The magnetic connection is strong, secure through bumps, jostles, and even one-handed scrolling while charging wirelessly. It doesn't slide, wobble, or weigh the phone down. Chargers this slim don't typically offer this kind of reliability.
When it comes to performance, this little slab punches well above its weight. It supports 15W wireless charging via Qi2, and up to 20W through the USB-C port—enough for a mid-day top-up or an emergency rescue from the dreaded red zone.
Its heat control features are built into the engineering. Most compact chargers struggle with temperature regulation, but the Baseus PicoGo uses NTC smart temperature control and graphene material to prevent overheating or short circuits, making every charge safer and more reliable.
In addition to the standard 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh versions, Baseus recently updated the design to include a pop-up kickstand. Hidden neatly within the aluminum frame, it allows the charger to double as a hands-free stand.
Then there are the subtle details. The matte aluminum housing feels premium—sturdy but understated—while the nano-coated silicone resists fingerprints and smudges. Even smaller phones fit without overhang. It just fits in every sense of the word.
For anyone looking for a power bank that feels more like an everyday essential than a bulky emergency brick, this is it. Sleek, strong, and thoughtfully engineered, it's one of those rare tech accessories that quietly integrates into your life and earns its spot in your pocket.
Get the Baseus PicoGo AM41 Power Bank: 5000mAh ($25.19); 10000mAh Qi2 ($29.99); with Kickstand ($39.99).

Qi2 power banks capable of 25W charging are coming — Ugreen claims 'world's first'
Ugreen has debuted what it is claiming as the "world's first Qi v2.2 certified power bank" that the company says can wirelessly charge devices at speeds up to 25W. That 25W is impressive, as most power banks typically max out at around 15W of power output. The new Ugreen MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank adds 10W and is meant to match the updated MagSafe charger that Apple launched with the iPhone 16 family last year. Ugreen's new power bank features a 10,000 mAh battery, which should be enough to fully charge your device. This power bank features a built-in braided USB-C charging cable that doubles as a lanyard when not in use. The cable isn't retractable but does appear to have a use beyond dangling free. An additional USB-C port can be found on the bottom of the power bank, allowing you to charge two devices simultaneously. It also has a small display to show how much battery is remaining. Beyond announcing the existence of the MagFlow, Ugreen did not provide any pricing or release date news beyond "coming Fall 2025." Currently, the Wireless Power Consortium has not officially finalized the Qi v2.2. standard, which is supposed to push charging speeds up to 50W. Apple and Google have managed to boost charging on Qi2 devices beyond 15W, but the standard remains at this level in general. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Despite that, Qi v2.2 devices appear to be in the works and we've seen MagSafe devices in certification documents recently and testing is being conducted by agencies. While iPhone 16 only supports Qi v2.1 right now, it's expected that iPhone 17s released later this year will have the newer standard. Anker's new Nano desktop charger will declutter your space and fast-charge your MacBook in 30 minutes
A new version of Anker's Nano Charging Station (via AnkerInsider) is now available in the U.S. after popping up in Japan earlier this year. The desktop charger features multiple AC outlets and USB ports and is listed as a 7-in-1, 100W power output. It features two retractable USB-C cables. Of the seven outputs, three are AC outlets on the rear of the charging station. One side features two USB ports, a 100W USB-C and a 12W USB-A port. Anker's Nano Charging Station features seven outputs, including three AC ports, two retractable USB-C cables, and 100W output power. Plus, it has an LCD screen that tracks charging and the device's temperature. There is one retractable USB-C cable on each side of the station that can extend up to 2.3 feet in length. Anker claims that it has tested these cables for over 18,000 pulls and bends, and that they should last for up to five years. The 100W output can reportedly charge a MacBook Pro (M3) to 50% in 35 minutes or a MacBook Pro 14 (M4) to 50% in 30 minutes. Anker's Nano station features a 1.3-inch LCD display with real-time charging information or the internal temperature of the device. The charger does come with active cooling technology that allegedly measures the temperature over 6,000,000 times daily. The new Anker Nano Charging Station 7-in-1 is available from Amazon now at $89.99. It's only available in black, although a white variant is expected to launch in Japan at some point. Belkin Achieves Qi2.2 Certification for Its Upcoming Products, Unlocking the Future of 25W Wireless Charging
With Qi2.2 certification, Belkin reinforces its commitment to quality, safety, and performance for the next generation of wireless charging LOS ANGELES, July 15, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Belkin, a leading consumer electronics brand for over 40 years, today announced it has received official Qi2.2 certification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) for its upcoming products. As one of the first accessory brands to deliver Qi2.2-certified devices, Belkin is helping bring the next generation of wireless charging to market – enabling faster wireless charging speeds, broader compatibility, and improved performance for consumers. Belkin's close partnership with the WPC since 2015 has been instrumental in bringing these advancements to consumers. As an early adopter and long-time contributor to WPC standards, Belkin was selected as one of a small group of trusted manufacturers to test and certify Qi2.2 products ahead of the broader industry rollout. All Belkin products undergo rigorous safety, quality, and performance testing. The company's global headquarters includes WPC certified test equipment and state-of-the-art test labs dedicated to full product lifecycle validation – ranging from mechanical and environmental assessments to real-world performance evaluations. Additional testing is conducted in Belkin's engineering hubs in China and Taiwan. Every Qi2.2-certified product is backed by Belkin's industry-leading warranty and customer support. In the coming months, Belkin will roll out several Qi2.2-certified products designed to support a wide range of devices. These chargers will deliver 5x faster charging speeds* while maintaining Belkin's signature commitment to safety, reliability, and design. "Belkin has a long history of shaping industry standards alongside trusted organizations like the Wireless Power Consortium and USB-IF," said Brian Van Harlingen, Chief Technology Officer at Belkin. "Securing first-mover Qi2.2 certification is another proud moment in that legacy – cementing our role in defining what fast and universal wireless charging will look like for the next generation of devices." Qi2.2 is the latest standard from the WPC, building on the Qi2 magnetic power profile introduced in 2023. It is expected to enable charging speeds up to 25W and expand wireless charging to new device categories. Like its predecessor, Qi2.2 features intelligent magnetic alignment for a safer, more reliable connection, while remaining backward-compatible with older Qi devices. It also includes advanced safety enhancements to protect device batteries and ensure consistent performance. *Based on internal testing, charging delivers up to 25W of power, compared to a 5W Qi charger. Actual results will vary.
